*As I'm putting the girl in my unit I notice a bottle in her cargo pocket*

*I pull it out and open it and some pills fall out*

'And, what are these for?'

'Its my grandmas'

*I look at the pill bottle*

'Whats her name?'

'Donna Wright'

'Yeah, the name says Gregory Weaton'

'Well your under arrest for pocession of these pills'

*I look over at Libor*

'Shes going in for this'

*I point to the pill bottle on top of my car*

(So we got Jennifer Fredericks, Kyle McCallister so far on warrants? Who had the pills?)

*I walk over to my squad and pull my dog out and walk over to

The girl in the back seat had them'

'Alright perfect, that takes car of all of them. I'll take my dog and have him search the car.'

*I walk up to the car open all the doors and pop the truck.*

*The dog walks around the car then jumps up into the drivers side and towards the center council.*

*He hops out and signals inder the seat, and then towards the trunk.*

'We got the center council, under the front seats, and the truck.'

((I've got the girl with the warrant in my car, Lt has the guy, and Cpl has the no warrant, but with pills. I think that's where we're at))

I put the girl in my car. 'Dibs on the trunk.' I open it up and start rummaging through the contents. I find a freezer bag stuffed full. 'Guys, I got a lot of marijuana here. There's no way this is personal use.'

*I arrive at the diner shut the car off, step out and walk over to the passenger side of the vehicle and get the kid out and we walk into the diner*

"Booth to COPA We arrived at the diner and are trying to locate the mom or dad"

*I open the door and let the kid walk in first and to see if the kid recognizes his mom*
'Hey kid do you see your mom?'
'No, sir'
'Alright take a seat let me go talk to someone' *He takes a seat and I walk up to the counter*

'Hi officer how may I help you?'
'Hi, do you recognize that kid?'
'No, But I'm new here, would you like to speak to the manager?'
'Yes please'

*She walks back to get the manager*

'You must be the manager?'
'Yes sir'
'Alright I was just wandering if you know this kid? His mom works here or has worked here'
'Yea I want her ass locked up'
'Sir?'
'She robbed us'
'What do you mean robbed, how?'
'She was a waitress and one night at closing I caught her putting money in her pockets'
'Alright did you report it?'
'No, sir I don't need cops around my store'
'Alright understandable, do you still have her personnel file?'
'Yes, Let me go get it' *He gets it and hands it to me'
*It reads an address which is the same one COPA gave to me but an emergency contact is listed with just a name and phone number so I pull out my phone and dial the number, it rings and someone answers it*

'Hello'
'Hi, this is Shawn Booth with the ERT PD, may I ask if you know a Dana Walsh?'
'Yes this is her'
'Dana, I have your son here with me'
'Really? He is supposed to be with his father'
'Well he's not he was running down the alone crying, could you come get him?'
'Sure where?'
'Could you meet at the ERT Police Station?'
'Sure, I know where it is, I'll be there within 30 minutes'
'Alright not a problem thanks'
'No officer thank you at least I know he's safe'
'No problem its my job, we're on our way there now we'll meet you in the lobby'
'Alright thanks again!'
'Alright mam, see you soon'
*I hang up and we walk back to the car and get in and we drive to the station code 1*

"Booth to COPA I have spoken with the mom and she is going to meet us at the station"

"Understood, when you check in, let the desk know if you'll be needing child services reps or not"

"10-4 Booth copies, we just arrived"

*We step out of the cruiser and we walk inside where the mom is already waiting*

'Hi, you must be Dana?'
'You must be Booth'
'Correct, hey kid could you take a seat I want to talk to your mom real quick' *he sits and we walk to a desk*
'Ok whats the deal?'
'What do you mean what's the deal?'
'Whats the real story, he said he was with you and he couldn't find you, nothing about his dad'
'...'
'Nothing thats fine I'll just call child services and charge you with endangering the welfare of a child'
'No wait'
'Ok spit it out'
'I, I, I Can't'
'Are you on drugs or what?'
*She gets up to walk away with her kid, but I grab her before she gets to the door and I place her hands behind her back and place her in cuffs*
'Mam, you are under arrest for endangering the welfare or a child, and anything else I can charge you with which may also be burglary'
*she stays quiet and I sit her down in a seat and I have the kid sit down next to her*

"Booth to COPA, Can I have a supervisor to the station I am in a little jam, and unsure of what to do"

(I can't take anyone in my squad, got the k-9.)
"booth standby, I'll get there as quick as possible."

'guys, I gotta go, you guys got this?'

"10-4 Lieutenant, we're in the lobby at the station"

*I standby for the lt. to arrive*

(Well you technically can. The guy has to ride upfront with you. Haha, that's how they do it here but, I was already gonna have someone else take yours so you could head up and assist Booth)

'Yeah, go ahead I already have a buddy from the PPD enroute so you could head back to assist Booth'

*My friend arrives and I point out his passenger and they take off to the county jail*

'I look over at Ranta*

'You can go ahead and go in. I'll wait for the tow truck'

'Got it. I'll catch you next time.' I go back to the Charger, turn off my lights, and look back at my passenger. I turn back and start heading back to the station. "Traffic 2 is headed to the station to process 1 female."

"PC-8 to COPA: Can you start me the next rollback out here?"

*I gather up all my evidence and put it in a small evidence bag and begin to type up my report while I wait. I also turn on my in car camera so everything is being recorded*

'alright, ill catch you on the flipside.'

*I get in my squad and head towards the pd lobby.*

"6 en route to pd."

*I arrive at pd and walk into the lobby.*

*I see the Lt. and walk over to him*

'Hey Lt. Glad you're here, I have no idea what I should do here'

'Whats the problem?'

*I look over and see the woman in cuffs.*

'I don't know I tried to talk to her about how her kid got away and she is refusing to talk and she got up and tried to leave with him, so I put her in cuffs for endangering the welfare of a child since I believe she is on drugs or something, I just want to figure out her problem maybe you could talk to her?'

*I walk back to my unit and get in*

"PC-8 to COPA: I'll be back in"

*I pull out and decide to swing by PHoxlind Diner*

*I type a message on the EAT and send it to the other PD officers and COPA officals in case they want to meet for food.*

**I turn off the Interstate after returning from a week-long military/SWAT convention in Seattle. I'm in my POV, but I have my uniform on, as I was wearing it when I left the convention. I also have my service issue pistol with me. I drive two blocks when I see a hooded man enter a convenience store. I decide to pull into a parking spot nearby. Sure enough, he draws a revolver and points it at the cashier.**

"COPA, this is Bucello. Send one or two units to back me up; there's a robbery in progress at 55 Empire Road. Be advised, I'm in uniform but off duty."

**I draw my service pistol and wait for a response over the radio.**

((I'm back, guys!))

*I hear the call and quickly pay for my food and get in my unit*

"PC-8 is enroute"

*I drive quietly to the scene and pull up behind Bucello's ride*

"PC-8 is on scene"

'What's going on here?'

**I turn on my lights and sirens, stepping out of my car with my gun out.**

'Let's go, Dave, let's break this up.'

**I see Dave put his gun up. With mine as well, I go into the store.**

'Put the gun down! Put it down!'

'Yes Sir'

*I draw my weapon and follow Bucello*

"PC-8 to PC-6: Can you head out here at your earliest convience"

"PC-8 to COPA: we still need additional units out here"

*I enter the store behind Bucello and seeing two guns pointed at him he quickly surrenders*

'I'll cover you so you can secure him'

**I take the suspect's arms and handcuff him, moving him to the curb outside.**

"COPA, suspect in custody. Additional units respond Code 1."

**I stand the suspect up.**

'Dave, can you talk to the cashier? Get a name and contact info and his account of what happened. Also ask him if he has cameras for the forensics guys to look at.'

**I move the suspect over to Lafferty's car.**

'Any knives, weapons, needles...anything that could poke me if I search you?'

**The suspect nods 'no,' and I search him. In one pocket, he has three IDs with different names. In another, he has extra revolver bullets.**

I decide to head back out. "COPA, T1 back in service." I pull out of the complex and head back toward Phoxlind.

'Alright, can I get your name?'

'Yeah, Its Mary Farrell'

*I write it down on my notepad*

'Ok, can I get your phone number?'

'Is this for personal use or offical use?'

*She gives me a half smile*

'It's for offical use'

'Alright, its 951-545-9532.

'Thank you'

*I write her number down*

'You can keep that if you want it.'

*I look at her for a moment a little confused*

'Ok i've never had anyone say that before. Can I get your address?'

'22 Tulip Street'

'Ok, do yall have cameras here?'

'Yes, here are the tapes'

'Thank you'

'Your welcome'

*I have her write out a statement and get the male cashiers info and statement*

*She gives me another smile as I tear out a page from my notepad. I give her a smile and leave her my card in case she has any questions. I then walk out and hand it to Bucello.

'Here ya go Boss.'

'Thanks, Dave. By the way, I wouldn't get too close to that female attendant if I were you. If the district attorney decides to prosecute, we can't have anyone questioning the integrity of the witness.'

**I turn to the suspect.**

'You want to tell us what happened?' *silence.* 'No? How about your name?' *silence.* 'You have the right to protect yourself against self-incrimination, but you have to give us a name. You know we're gonna find out; why not make it easy and just tell us?' *silence.* 'Alright, well, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney to provide legal counsel during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, a court will appoint one for you. You may refuse to answer questions at any time and request an attorney. Do you understand these rights?'

**The suspect nods. I turn to Dave.**

'Hey Dave, do you have room in your car? It looks like this guy won't give us his name. Drop him off at the processing area for fingerprinting. Maybe this guy has priors.'

'I know that. I have a girlfriend anyway. Some people react better if you show some compassion. You know what I mean?'

'Yeah, I can drop him off for you'

*I take the subject and put him in the back of my unit*

'Alright, i'm out of here.'

*I get in and drive the subject down to the city jail and drop him off*

"PC-8 is back available enroute to the station"

*I drive back to the station and park my unit in its spot*

((Not sure that flirting is the best way to go about that, but if it works, just make sure the defense attorney doesn't find out. ))

"COPA, Bucello is returning home. I won't be in service, but if TAC is needed, call me out."

**I get back in my POV and drive home.**

(She was flirting, all I did was smile. Ain't nothing wrong with that haha. I do it everyday on the truck.)

*I turn on my engine and I start patroling*

(Sorry for my inactivness, i had....... you guys don't want to know)

*I walk out to my unit*

"PC-8 to COPA: I'm available any calls pending for patrol?"

As I'm heading down Keller st a car passes me as it gets a couple car links away the car swerves a little it cought me attention I get be hind it and follow a couple minutes go by I start to get back in to the other lane and the driver throwes a bottle out the window it hits my passenger side light and busted it out I push the button the lights turn on it takes him a few blocks he finally pulls over on the left side of the road

*I drive down Midtown Road*

*As i'm driving down the road I notice two males fighting*

*I turn on my steady burn LED's and pull over and get out of my unit*

"PC-8 is gonna be out at 79 Midtown Road with two male subjects fighting"

*I then stand and watch them fight*

"Understood, requesting an additional unit Code 2 to 8's location. Engage when safe 8."

I mark down the EAT callout, and send a CC to local police to inform them we're active in their jurisdiction again, and we'll be sending additional units.

"10-4 COPA: they are possibly under the influence. I'm just gonna wait until they wear themselves out and have no fight left"

*I make sure that no pedestrians go near them while they fight*

"Understood, Do not intervene unless it becomes necessary."

"Exactly what I had in mind Boss"

*The two begin to slow down and eventually just fall to the ground*

'Alright both of you lay on your stomachs with your arms out to your side. And do it now'

*They comply*

"PC-8 to COPA: Both subjects have stopped fighting. Awaiting a back-up unit before I attempt to subdue them"

"Understood, standby. Should I request an EMS unit from PEMS to the scene?"

*I look at them for a moment and don't really see anything*

"PC-8 to COPA: You can put them on standby and once they are secured we will check them out and advise if they are needed"

*I continue to wait for a backup unit to arrive*

*I notice both subjects begin to look around like they might take-off.*

'Alright, y'all stay still'

*I walk over and handcuff both subjects and stand them up and put one in the back of my car and have the other lean on the hood*

PC-8 to COPA: Can you see if PPD has a car free for transport? Be advised I have both subjects in custody."


*I run their info in the database and come up with a few priors.*

"T-1 on scene with PC-8." I see where Lafferty is and pull up behind his vahicle. 'What can I do for you, Corporal? ((Sorry, I figured I'd wait to see if a free patrol unit showed up first.))

'If you could take the guy in who leaning on the hood for me I would appreciate it.'

'Neither one of them is wanting to talk and both were really going at it.'

*I read them their rights and walk back to Morrigan*

'So yeah, another day in paradise'

I chuckle. 'That's for sure. At least the traffic signals are working again.' I lead the offender back into my car and close it up.

I walk back over. 'So I'm thinking about that Japanese restaurant again tonight. You're welcome to join me.'

'You know that sounds good boss'

*I look at my watch*

'Once I get the report filled out I'll me you down there'

'Does that sound good?'

*I say opening my door*

'Perfect,' I say.
I wave and head back to my car.

"T1 is headed to booking with 1." I pull out toward HQ.

*I get in and turn of my lights and follow Morrigan to the station*

"PC-8 is transporting one male subject. Beginning mileage is 115,793"

After I processed my passenger, I step into the car and start filling out reports on my computer.

I watch Dave pull up and bring his guy inside.

'Long time no see Boss'

*I take my guy inside and process him and come over to Morrigan.*

'They had a prior history so I just booked them for public Intox and for fighting. But, I guantree you they are best friends and won't think a thing about it tomorrow.'

*I say with a slight chuckle as I look at a pop machine and decide to buy myself a coke*

I laugh. 'They say a best friend is the one in the cell with you. I guess that's true for these two.'

I pull the soda out of the center console and take a swig.

'It's always something new around here, you know?'

'Yeah, never a dull moment.'

*I open my coke and take a swig*

'Have you seen anyone else? I think it's only you and me out'
