Similar to the Patrol Centre, but is only for dispatched calls regarding accident investigation requests, so usually only Traffic division will see in here,

"CI-1 respond to East Hanlon Street, we've got a small commerical truck that tipped, gotta see why. Respond using non priority" (You may yuse the orange light function, but not the red lights on your unit's bar)

EAT
PPD responded to a tipped commercial transport truck. Looks like there was some kinda commercial violation. Check it out and if it's a violation, call in CE, the driver is still on scene with a marked PPD unit. The truck is at the very end of the road, so there is very little traffic disruption

"CI-1 10-4"
*I walk out of the station to the CI car which is a Crown Vic and get in and Procede to the location. A few minutes later i am on the scene and see a bakery's Step Van on its side and the driver with the PPD Officers. I walk over*
'Hi Im Officer Russo with the ERT PD Traffic unit Can you tell me what happened?'
'I was going to make the turn into the driveway and it tipped over'
'How fast were you going?'
'About 30 MPH'
'Going a little fast there Jeff Gordon'
'I know i had a date tonight and wanted to finish work early'
'That worked out well'
'I know'
'Can you unlock the back for me so i can get a few pictures for the accident report?'
'Sure'
*He unlocks the back of the truck for me and i get a few pictures of the interior. It is very Disheveled Because its on its side. I notice that the truck looks over loaded*

(@Burke, we were just using one liners because we were using radio as we were off scene, sorry for that.)

I pull the car up to the scene and park it by the side of the road, and turn on the rear emergency lights, I climb out, still with my traffic vest on and check out the scene. 'Matt, got a toppled Step Van, I'll grab the gear, you get the info?' I say as I radio COPA. "CE-1 is with CI-1 at accident. Over." I put the radio back as I open the boot, and click on the boot lights, so that we're still visible incase anyone comes down the road. I start to get the measuring equipment and pick them up, and start to walk over to Russo.

I head over to the two conferring officers and put the equipment on the floor in front of them, as I head back to the car to grab the camera and tripod, to document the scene. I arrive back, and before setting up the camera say 'Hey guys, all the measuring gear's there, I'm just gonna get some photos taken, and look around for any witnesses to assist with what happened. Ok?' I ask as I start to snap the scene.

'Hey, what am I meant to be doing here.' The driver asked in a southern accent.
'Help me get the winch attached to the roof of the car, then we'll pull him onto his wheels, you understand?' I say as I point where to attach the winch.

'Hmm.' I murmur as I return from the step van, where the tow truck driver is being helped by PPD to right the truck. 'Ok, what violations have we got so far, licence, which I assume is enough to impound the vehicle if we have to, possible weight too.' I pause to think for a second 'Anyway, soon as this truck's back upright, which should be a few minutes, probably need to weigh check it, which I think Corporal Linda's got the equipment for, and I'll assist with that, Zach, could you interview the man?' I ask as I see the tow truck just righting the step van.

(Apologies for double post.)

I dial the number of Texas DPS, after obtaining it from a quick check on the EAT and now actually do head back to my fellow traffic officers.
'Hello, Texas Department of Public Safety, how can I help you.' I hear a female voice on the other end of the phone and reply quickly.
'Yeah, hey, it's the ERTPD here, we have a driver, a Mr Brian McGee, on his record, it says to call you if any violations are observed.' I say, and wait for a reply.
'Oh, okay, if you'll just hold for a while, we'll get the record up on him and one of the Driver's Licence Division people will be on shortly.' I clip the phone on my belt as a tune starts to play.
'Alright, called DPS, they're getting a guy on it now, we'll see what turns out.' I say to Linda and Russo.

'Hello I'm Officer Jackson, ERTPD, need some details on a Mr Brian McGee.' I reply, now happy someone answered
'Uhh...' He pauses for a few seconds. 'Yeah, he's got a provisional licence, what violation you say?'
'Overweight in a Step Van.' I answer.
'Ah ok, well... We'll probably need to check it all over in court, for the mean time punish him for a breach of licence.'
'All right, I understand. Goodbye.' I hang up and walk back to Russo.

'Yep, DPS said punish him for a licence breach, we'll have to impound the van I think and you deal with Mr McGee?' I say to Zach, not happy.

With the tow truck already on scene, I walk over to him.
'Hey, we're gonna need the Van towed back to Impound.' I say, he shrugs and starts to head to the back of his truck.
'Alright, I'll get your truck there.' He replies, looking bored at another tow job. I thank him and head back to the Magnum.
'Hey Matt, grab the scales and stuff, let's head out and get back on the road.' I shout over to the Corporal, who starts to load the stuff in the back and then closes the tailgate.
"CE-1 are returning to patrol duties." I say into our microphone and then start to head off from the scene as the tow truck leaves.

'Your from the same department as the driver of the fire truck i dont want your department anywhere near the investigation'
'I can assure you that this will be an unbiased investigation. now since your son needs you lets make this short. I saw the video. Now when the vehicle pulled down the block was the emergency warning devices activated?'
'Yes'
'Does your son have any issues with hearing or eyesight.'
'No'
