Format:
Dispatch: (This will be over the radio, with specific information on the EAT)
Say
"COPA to" the responding unit(s), nature of incident, and address
(If it is a significant building, then just say what building it is, a
specific location in the building and what road)
As for the call, units would say:
-Responding
-State their arrival on the radio
-Details
about what's going on inside (Like I usually do ex: "I put the
ambulance in High idle... get the jump bag out of the side cabinet...
talk to the kid... get the stretcher... place kid on stretcher... leave
for hospital")
-Say how many they are transporting and where the are transporting ("Transporting one juvenile male to ERT hospital")
-Clear of hospital.
Please note, this can take place over several posts and should. Do not spend your entire time here though, rember 50/50 split between official calls/break time and here
EG:
Dispatch: "COPA
to BLS-1, Johnson Private School on Fifth Avenue, in the Nurse's Office,
pediatric fall victim, complaining of leg pain."
EAT:
BLS1
Johnson Private School
BLS Medical
A
call was received from the Johnson Private School nurse of a child in
her office who had fallen on the playground, and is complaining of
severe leg pain. Nurse believes it is broken and guardians are
unreachable at this time.
(You may also get flagged down, etc. This format can come from the poster in the first post, or from Dispatch officers that may assign little ems only calls here. So check regularly )
Post-BLS-1 Responding...
Later post, or after a break- BLS-1 On scene,
I put the

Post-talk to the kid... get the stretcher... place kid on stretcher... leave
for hospital
