"BLS-2, please respond code 1 to Orange Street for a BLS transport of a 18 year old male complaining of severe stomach flu. Main contact for this transport will be K. McGuire, please transport to ERT EDC"

*i speak into the radio as i was taught.after i fineshed i throw myself into the passenger seat*

((Erm, Chet, you're kinda in my lap. I posted in the Ambulance Bay section of the Hospital forums as walking out to the unit and getting in the passenger seat))

*I transmit the pertanent info along with the adress and initial dispatch through EAT*

*iwalk to the back and pull out the stretcher then i push it towards the door*

*of the patients house*

*I grab my jump kit and head to the door. I try to open it, finding it unlocked, I walk in.*

"Hello? EMS." I call.

((Do we godmode the victims?))

'o reilly help me take the stretcher up to the door'

(yes victims are godmodded)

*I call back to Chet from inside the house*

"Can't you pull the thing yourself?"

'HEY bro theres fliping stairs.'*i attempt to bring the stretcher up*
'you see anybody'

*I walk back out and down the stairs, helping Chet get the stretcher up the stairs*

"I had just walked in when you called me. We coulda left the stretcher in the unit till we knew he was coming with us."

*I walk back inside as we finish getting it up the stairs.*

"Hello? EMS."

"Back here..." a weak voice answers.

*I head to the room that the voice had come from, noting that the room will be a pain to get the stretcher into. An 18 year old is curled in the fetal position, clutching his stomach, on a bed in the room. I call Chet back here.*

"Hey! Chet! Our patient's back here, lad!"

'ok bro' * i move over to the patient.i look at him and say 'hello my names chet im a emt were here to take ya to the hospital may we help ya'

'Hi i'm moon"
*I kneel down and shake the childs hand*

*I kneel beside the patient and begin taking a set of vitals*

"Lad, I'm just gonna take a set of vitals from ye, and we'll go from there. Got it?"

"Yes." the young man responds in a weak voice.

"Looks like you're dehydrated. Have you had anything to eat or drink lately?"

"No, it just comes right back up."

"Okay, then. Chet, start him on an IV."

"Sir, is it hard to breath? You sound like you're not getting enough oxygen," I said as I listened to his lungs with a stethoscope.

"Yes, it feels like something's on my chest."

"OK, I'm gonna put you on some oxygen now."

*I stand up*

"Chet, I'm going to get some O2 from the unit. Back in a flash."

*I leave the room and head to the unit.*

'ok oreilly ill do that for you'
'ok im just going to give you some fluids'
*i say as i start a iv*
'ok youll be aok'

*I quickly return with a bottle of O2 and move over to the patient*

"OK lad, I'm just going put some oxygen on ye."

*I slip a mask over his head and attach the line to the tank, setting the flow of oxygen to be pretty high*

"Chet, now we need to transport him. Let's get him on the stretcher."

*I bring the stretcher into the room, fighting to get it through the door, and over beside the patient. I place my hands under his arms.*

"Okay, get ready to lift."

'ok'* i grab his legs and i put him on the stretcher*
'ill grab are bag and lets bring him to the ambulance you wanna take the back'
*i left up are jump bag and hold it in my left hand*

"Don't forget the IV."

*I place the O2 bottle beside the man on the stretcher*

"OK, let's go."

*I wheel the stretcher out to the stairs.*

"Alright, let's get down these stairs."

*i grab one end and we lift it down the stairs*
*then we wheel it over to ambo*
8i put the jump bag onto the stretcher then i open the doors of the ambulance*
'you take the bback?'
((once we get to the hospital what topic do we go to))

"Yeah, I'll take the back."

*I lift the stretcher into the back of the ambulance and climb in after it, checking to make sure that the IV and O2 mask are still in place.*


((I think we just say we arrived and wheeled him into the ER, turning him over to the docs.))

(you go to the emergency treatment thread under EMS?hospital also i'm pretty sure EMT-B's can't start I.V.s)

((i thought so to but some states can ill pm burke))

(some states have EMT-I which can start I.V.'s but i'm about 900% certain you can't as an EMT-B)

*i grab the mic and hold it to my face*

"this is BLS 2 were about to leave the scene eta 8 minutes"

*i put the ambulance out of park and step on the gas*
'there we are! by the way whats your first name again i forgot'
*i turn around and start moving to are destination*

"I'm Angus, Angus O'Reilly."

'ok great angus im ingoying you as my partner'
*i can just start to see the lights of the hospital*

"Alright. Seems like we get along just fine, don't we, lad?"

*I check the O2 flow to ensure that the patient is getting enough air*

*i see the er and i slow down*
*i turn the ambo around and put it in reverse*
*then i slow to a halt infront of the er doors*
'ok meet you around the back'
* i open the door*

*I open the rear doors and step down from the ambulance, turning around to begin getting the stretcher out*

"Come on, let's get him in."

* i walk around the ambulance*
*then i help angus move the patient into the er*
'ill go find a nurse'

"Central to BLS-2. Respond to 75 Doyle's Lane, cross of Chinese and Japanese District Road, for the person vomiting."

"bls2 copies but we cant respond im the only one here right now angus is at home youll have to get anthoer unit"

*I hear traffic on the ems radio and walk into the coms center*
"Sev-1 to dispatch we can quick respond and stablize until you can get a unit"

*I hop in start the engine and pull out of the complex*
