"No, I'll bring this guy back to book him and put him in the holding cells. Don't worry, I'll write up the report." I walk over to the PPD Gang Unit and get the officers' details. I then get back into PC-3. "All units, this is PC-3, will be busy at the station." I drive back to Alpha Base and I park up.

*I drive over to the jail and drop off my subject*

*I walk over to where Sarah is working on her report*

'Everything going ok?'

"Yeah, fine. Thanks for asking, and turning up out there." I continue to work on my report.

'Good to hear. And not a problem it's why I'm here for.'

*I walk over to a pop machine and buy a coke.*

*I sit back down and get back up to go buy a sandwich*

'But, good job on the collar. How about that TAC raid?'

*I eat my sandwich quickly*

"If you want, I can come with you." I say as I hand in my report.

'Yeah, I have a feeling we will be hauling them in.'

*I stand up and throw away my trash*

'I have the feeling it's going to be one of those nights'

"I can't say I know what you mean. Shall I take PC-3 or should we ride together?" I say to him.

'Eh, well just take separate cars. I just have the feeling it's going to be a wild night.'

*I take a sip of my coke*

'But, I guess well just head back out until we hear if were needed or not.'

"Okay. See you around." I walk back to my patrol car, "PC-3 is back on duty, commencing patrol near the port." I drive down Trulit Interpass and then onto Phoxlind Road. I see nothing out of the ordinary, so I stop near the PPA Station and I wait in my car for something to happen over the radio.

"S-1 to COPA: I am goig to be out at The PPD station for a few. Available on handheld and cell-phone"

*I walk into the dispatch room and pull up a seat and chat with the dispatchers and a few officers that are in there*

"T-1 on duty and available for callout."

I slide into my seat and pull out, headed toward the Twin roads.

*I get back in my unit and head back on patrol*

"S-1 to COPA: I am back in the unit. Are there any calls holding?"

*I turn onto the interpass and head toward Trulit*

"Negative at this time, heavy traffic has been reported due to a construction detour by James high, might wanna pop over there to scare people into behaving"

"10-4, I'll head that way"

*I begin to drive that way and try not to scare people while I drive down there*

*I get into my marked cruiser, and start to drive to meet my CI*

"Booth is on patrol but unavailable for call out I am going to meet with a Confidential Informant"

*I drive to the undisclosed location and I see my CI's car so I turn my lights on and hit my siren to make it look like a traffic stop*

'Hey jeff what do you got for me?'
'Here' *He hands me a file containing names, and phone numbers, phone numbers lead back to ERT, but not any individuals*
'Alright thanks here' *I hand him some money since that is what cops do for their CI's*
'Keep me out of the investigation'
'I will I am the new Internal Affairs Guy so this will be for my boss and my eyes only, Thanks for letting me know, stay safe'

*I walk back to my car and drive back to the station*

"Booth is enroute to ERT PD"

"S-1 to COPA: I will be in the area"

*I turn on my steady burns and put on my hat as I get out and watch the cars go by*

*I receive confirmation on my request and I pick up my portable radio*

"Booth to S1 when you get a chance could you call me? Thanks!"

*I key up my radio*

*I pull out my phone and dial his number*

All officers please watch out for a man impersonating a police officer, (Picture attached not really but yeah imagine it is) He is also wanted for questioning in a gang murder in New York State. We have a reason to believe he is armed and dangerous and we will be obtaining a warrant for his arrest his info is below:

Wants/Warrants: Wanted for questioning in a gang shooting in New York State and wanted for questioning in impersonating an ERT Police Officer
Criminal Record: Assault on an officer, Assault (2 counts), aggravated battery (3 counts), domestic violence, auto theft, possession of a firearm, assault with intent

He is described as an hispanic male about 5'10" about 160lbs. We are clearly dealing with a suspect who is considered to be armed and dangerous. Do not approach alone without backup, also notify Internal Affairs Investigator: Shawn Booth if you have a visual on the suspect, or know about where he may be, or if you have him in custody. That is all.

*I notice a car swerving all over the road and decide to pull it over*

"S-1 tO COPA: I will be out with a White Ford Expedition LPN: 194DER. Failing to maintain lane contol. Vehicle has four Hispanic occupants."

*I pit my hat on as I get out and walk up to the driver side. As I approach the rear I feel to make sure the back door is shut*

'Evening guys, Im Sgt Lafferty with the ert PD. The reason I stopped you was for failure to maintain lane control. May I see everyones ID's and the vehicle registration and insurance? And, everyone do me a favor and remain in the vehicle.'

*He hands me their information and I walk back to my unit. As I begin to run their info the guy in the backseat on the driver side gets out and looks at me.*

'Here we go again'

*I say to myself as I place my hand on my weapon*

'Sir, I told you to remain in the vehicle. Please re-enter the vehicle and remain there.'

*He just stands there. I pick up the mic for the PPD radio and call for an additional unit. The subject hears this and gets back in the vehicle*

"Unit 810 to COPA I'm heading over to assist S1 code 3, S1 are you alright over there?"

*I step on the acceleration and speed to S1's location*

"Captain 1 will be enroute code 1, in the area."

*I pull up behind Lafferty's SUV and get out.*

'Hey, whats going on?'

"Captain 1 to 810, slow to code 2."

"10-4 Captain, I'm right behind you though, COPA take me off with S1 and Captain 1"

*I pull up behind the the Captains car and step out and walk up to Dave and Captain Libor*

'I'll check them out'

*I walk up to the suspect vehicle with my hand on my gun making sure they don't try anything stupid*

'Hey guys put your hands up on the roof, besides you driver put your hands on the wheel and keep them there, no one make any sudden movements or we all know what'll happen'

*I see Libor and Booth come storming up.*

'Yeah, I'm fine. I have a feeling they don't speak English worth crap. I'll run their info if y'all want to watch them.'

*I run their info and all their records come back to no records found*

'Sounds about right. Hey, they don't have any records or anything. Sounds to me like they might be illegals.'

'You want to pull them out, search them and question them?'

*I keep my eye on the car and notice them looking nervous*

'Yeah, I don't think questioning will reviel much since their English sucks. But, might as well give it a try.'

*I try one more time to find their records and don't come up with anything*

*I walk over to the driver and I open the door*

'Sir please step out of the vehicle' *he does* 'Lets go follow me'

'We believe you are an illegal immigrant, so are you?'
'No, I legal, I live here 5 years'
'Okay do you have documentation that proves it?'

'Well if you are a naturalized citizen or if you had a visa you would know to keep the papers on you at all times to prove your here legally, but by not having it, we can arrest you and hand you off to immigration, so turn around and put your hands behind your back, for me' *He does and I cuff him and read him his rights, I then sit him down on my front bumper of my car and walk over to dave*

'The driver speaks ok english, but what do you want to do? Bring them all downtown or just call immigration?'

'Well let's check with Captain Libor and see what he wants to do.'

*I walk over and stand near the subject keeping an eye on him*

*My phone rings and a friend i know with ICE is calling me. After talking to him for a few minutes a ICE van pulls up.*

'Lets just turn them over to ICE and let them deal with them.'

*After the subjects are loaded up and their car is towed to our impound lot. I get back in my unit and go back on patrol.*

"S-1 to COPA: I will be back available."

*I drive along and notice a pink prius with expired tags.*

"S-1 to COPA: I will be out with a pink prius with expired tags in Chinese District Road. LPN: 193DEK"

*I turn my lights on and we pull over to the side of the road. I get out and she shows me a ticket PPD already gave her for it.*

'Ok, have a nice night. Or as best as you can.'

*I get back in my unit and head back out on patrol stopping at a Shell station to get myself a coke.*

"S-1 to COPA: I am back available no citation issued."

"Captain 1 clearing, ICE contacted."

*I turn onto first avenue from keller st. when I notice a man matching the description of my suspect*

"Booth take me off at first avenue at keller st. with an hispanic male and female, the male matches my suspect description from my APB and I am going to stop them now"

*I pick up my mic to the PPD units and request that they send out another officer or two to me, I step out of my car on the opposite side of where the suspects are and I approach the suspects from behind, the other PPD officer arrives on the corner and I yell at them to stop*

'Police stop right there with your hands on your head and go on your knees both of you' *They do*

"Booth has 2 on the ground detaining to find out if the suspect is from my APB, PPD has a unit with me"

'Officer do you want to cuff the male first then the female'
'Sure' *He approaches them and cuffs them with no problem, I then talk to the male and bring over to my car*
'Hey officer ask her who she is and run her info also ask her who this guy is, hey man sit in the back of my car'
'Why are you arresting me?'
'You're not under arrest at this time, but you will be if you are who I think you are, so what is your name?'

'Yes sir, how do you know?'
'Because I put out on an APB on you for impersonating an officer and you are wanted out of NY State for questioning in a gang shooting'
*He stays quiet*
'Well you're going to ERT PD for questioning' *I walk over to the officer and the lady also has warrants so she is also going to jail* 'Alright officer you can book her and I'll do the report for the both of them, what is the warrant for?'
'Escaping custody of new york state she escaped by hitting a guard from behind stealing the keys and his gun and escaped by stealing his van, no one has seen her until now'
'Nice so nice bust, I'll take him to ERT, I put out an APB on him for impersonating an ERT PD Officer and feeding intel to the dealers'
'Ahh so two dirt bags off the street'
'Yes it is, so I'll see ya later officer'

*I walk back to my car and head back to the station code 1*

"Booth to COPA I have 2 in custody PPD is taking the female and I get the male you could cancel the APB Shane Kelley is in custody and heading to ERT PD for booking and questioning"

"S-1 to COPA: I will be enroute to the shell station on Japenese District Road To back-up PPD with am activated hold-up alarm."

*I drive to the scene and pull up behind a PPD unit and put my hat on as I step out of my unit*

"S-1 is onscene"

*I walk up to the front door with a officer while two more go around the rear*

*I finish booking the suspect and place him in a holding cell. I then go back to my car and continue patrol*

"Booth in 810 is back available for callout"

*Myself and Mark (PPD Corporal) go up to the front door and don't notice anything out of the ordinary.*

'Hmm, seems quiet.'

*We walk inside and check the area and don't see anything.*

'Ma'am, we recieved a hold-up alarm at this location. Do you know anything about it?'

'I bet I hit the button on accident when I opened and dropped the drawer.'

'That's fine.'

*I head back out to my unit and place my hat in the passenger seat as I head back out.*

"S-1 to COPA: Back available accidental trip."

"Captain 1 to S-1, why don't you head to the subway call, I believe COPA requested a PD unit."

"10-4, I know transit is onscene. I will head that way until furthur advised."

*I head toward the scene and listen to some good old Journey on my way. And, start singing to Don't Stop Believing when some PEMS crew gives me a weird look.*

*I drive down the street when I observe a motorcycle speeding and changing lanes without signaling, I speed up and get the plate which is: LKS867 I run it through my computer and the owner has a suspended license*

"Booth to COPA take me off at third ave. at hellington st. with a motorcycle plate number: LKS 867 the owner has a suspended license attempting a traffic stop now"

*I pick up my mic for PPD and request 2 additional units and they say they'll be here in a couple of mins. with that I turn my lights and sirens on and I pull the biker over, I step out of my car and walk up to the biker*

'Hey man, could I see your license, registration and proof of insurance please?'
'Here you go' *He hands me them and I walk back to my car, waiting for another unit which just showed up*

'Hey officer this guy has a suspended license'
'Alright you gonna hook him up?'
'Yep lets go' *I step out of my car and walk over to the biker*
'Hey man step off the bike'
'Why?'
'You have a suspended license'
'Seriously? I took care of that'
'Sir, now lets go'
'Alright' *He does*
'Turn around hands behind your back' *I cuff him and read him his rights*
'Officer I'll take him you take the car?'
'Sounds good'
*Another officer shows up*
'Hey man, could you take him for me and book him, I'll do the report'

*As I drive to the scene I hear a call of shots fired and a person running down First Avenue, and then the caller was cut off"

"S-1 to COPA: Show me enroute to assist PPD with a possible shots fired call then the line went dead. Unknown further"

*I drive to the area code one and pull up behind four other cars and get out*

*I hear some more pops and walk around the corner and see a bunch of teenagers firing off fireworks.*

*We tell the kids to go home and the PPD guys write them tickets for violating city ordinace*

"S-1 to COPA: I am clear the scene. I can head to the report of a drunk person if nobody else is free,"

*He ignores me and keeps on yelling and banging in the door*

"S-1 to COPA: Subject is obviously intoxicated. And refusing to cooperate, awaiting 812 before I proceed further."

*I take a right and pull up near lafferty*

'I walk up to dave, hey dave long time no see'

'Yeah, it's been a few hours. Well this guy is obviously wasted, I have a sobriety kit in my trunk and I'll test him once we get him down'

*I look over my shoulder at the neighbors house and see a bunch of people watching us*

'Well go figure, they have video cameras. Well, we should take this nice and slow.'

'haha unless you want to be in my office haha'

*I think to myself the easiest way to take him down and figure ehh just because im on the TAC team doesn't mean I have to throw people to the ground*

'Sir we could do this the hard way or the easy way either way you will be in handcuffs, so what'll it be?'

'Tell you what sir. At this point you haven't committed any major crime. So, if you will come down to the bottom step and turn around so we can place you in handcuffs just for the time being. We won't be rough with you, but don't try anything or else we will get rough.'

*The subject goes to the bottom step and slowly turns around and gets on his knees*

'Alright, I will cover you go ahead and get him Booth.'

*I grab my cuffs out and reach out to grab his arm when he tries to swing around and hit me, I dodge it and he falls, I put my knee on his back and cuff him*

'Now you're going to jail for attempted assault on an officer, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, have fun'

*I pick him up off the ground and sit him down on the steps*
