Post by C. Jackson Sun Feb 06, 2011 8:45 am

"PC-2 responding Code 2. Over," I turned on the emergency lights and indicated right off Trulit Interpass onto Union Street. I flicked the siren on manual, and started using that whilst driving through the intersections, then shutting it down. Two intersections ahead, I could see Chevy Road. I checked my passenger seat, where I'd left my jacket and then blasted the bullhorn as I crossed Manu Road. With Chevy Road just ahead, I shut off the emergency lights and Indicated onto Chevy Road. Just ahead was Blanc's car, and I drove past it, and pulled in front of the man's beat-up car. "PC-2 to PC-1, I'm just ahead of him. Over." Instead of putting on emergency lights, I pressed on the Hazards, and carefully climbed out, and walked over to Blanc's car. 'Everything okay here?' I asked Blanc who was sitting in the front seat.

'Yea, looks like a hit and run, the vehicle is most likely stolen also, just hasnt been reported yet, I just wanted someone else here just in case'
*I flick the EAT to the main screen and open my door, exiting the vehicle, with my ticket book in hand
*I shut the door, behind me.
    *I begin approaching the man
    'Sir, is this your car?'
    'Yeaa.'
    'You sure?'
'Yeaa, man, you think Im lying?'
'Well, I ave reason to beleive your lying to me.'
'Alright, I borrowed it from a friend, okay?'
'You go his number that I could call?'
    'Yea, here it is.'
    *I write down the number.
'Ok, lemme call this, gimme one second.'
*I take out my personal number and call the number *69
    'Lylon Residence'
'Yes, this is Officer Blanc with the ERT-PD, I was wondering if you know a Ryan Quincy?'
'Uhh, lemme think for a second.'
    *A few minutes later
    'Uh..Dont think so.'
'Ok, so no reason why he has your number and car?'
*I hear loud movement, and a door slam
    'MY CAR IS GONE!'
'Ok, was it at all damaged last you saw it?'
    'Uhh...few dents, nothing major.'
'Ok, thank you, we will call you later with information on how to retrieve your car.'
*I motion for Officer Jackson to come over.

I moved over to Blanc. From his conversation and what I heard of the phone call, I thought I knew what he was gonna say. 'Stolen?' I asked Blanc, I turned back to the man, who seemed to have noticed something was up, he was trying to climb in the damaged vehicle, but I knew he wouldn't get out for a while, our cars were blocking him in.

    'Ya got it right.'
    'Ready for the arrest?'
*I say as I reach, and unholster my sidearm to prepare for the arrest that was soon to take place.
'Also, damage to private property, and possible hit and run back there.'
    *I mumble to myself

I nodded and walked to the driver's door, where the man was frantically trying to start the engine. 'Goddamit.' He shouted, seeing me and trying again. It failed once more. He reached across to the glovebox, for all I knew he was drawing a weapon. I yanked open the driver door and grabbed the man's left arm, pulling him out. He resisted, but I finally pulled him out of his seat and onto the road. He smashed his knee into the door as he fell out, and I grabbed his right arm and attempted to hold his torso down, but he kept kicking out. 'Blanc, grab the restraints, or whack him with the baton!' I shouted, narrowly dodging a headbutt.

'Alright, so we got him on theft, damage to private property, trying to resist arrest and possible hit and run?' I shook my head as I asked Blanc, who had the man seated on the curb. 'I'll report it in to Dispatch, then we'll have to check out his car.' I said, walking back to my patrol car.

    'Alrighty.'
*I say, just above my normal tone which is rather low.
*I lift the man up, and lean him over the hood of my vehicle to pat him down
*Once I place him on the hood i begin frisking him and find 2 wallets, and another set of keys, along with 3 cell phones.
*I place all of these on my hood then place the man in the back of my patrol car
    'Watch you head'
*I say as I begin helping the young man into the car.
    'This guy was everything'
    *I say jokingly, grinning.

"PC-2 and PC-1 have one suspect in custody. Over," I put the radio back on the dashboard and climbed back out into the road. 'I'll search his car, can you get a tow out here Ant?' I asked, pulling on rubber gloves and opening the driver's door again, I glanced inside, looking for obvious clues, alcohol, anything really, nothing, not on the front or back seats. I checked the glovebox next, still nothing, the car was stolen and damaged, everything of value had been nicked. 'Nothing,' I shook my head to emphasise the point, 'Could be stuff in the trunk, but it looks too dented to open,' I said, tracing the dents, which were severe.

'Yea, we can pry it open later, Ima go check on the car he hit back there'
*I jog over to the car, and looks at the damage to the car and notes down the license number to notify the owner.
*I note that it was mostly hit hard on the driver's side door, but not much damage anywhere else
*After doing so, I walk back to my patrol vehicle and get inside to warm up before I question the suspect.

"PC-2 leaving scene. Requesting a tow to come out to PC-1, Blanc will handle I believe. Over," I waved to Antoine as I sped off, flicking off the hazards as I rejoined the flow of traffic, I started to drive down to the Interpass, no siren or lights but waiting in case needed on the pursuit. "PC-4, PC-2 here, I can cut down the interpass and cut ahead of the car if needed, over." I put the radio back on the dash and then waited, turning left onto the interpass.

*After a little bit of waiting I see a tow truck with its amber lights in the distance
*I get out of my car, half asleep, and wave it down, letting it hook up as it should, and take it to the Impound lot.
*I hustle back to my patrol car, start it up, flip it into drive and follow the tow back to the Complex for booking, and things of that nature.

*Driving slowly, in case I hit any ice, I watch traffic, and make sure all traffic laws are being followed.
*I notice the light turn green
*After I start to clear the intersection, I see a car going way to fast threw the intersection.
*I begin accelerating to avoid being hit, and just narrowly avoid an accident
*I then make a U, flick on my lights and switch the siren to manual, giving a few bursts to catch up to the vehicle
"PC-1, Traffic stop, White 4 door sedan, at 7th and Empire."
*I then give a few bursts of siren, and notice the vehicles brake lights being on, but the car not slowing, i then try myself, and have no success realizing I most likely have hit some ice, I begin to swerve, to do anything to avoid an accident.
*I then hear a light thump, and my vehicle comes to a stop
*I flip on my rear directional light bar, and cautiously step out of my vehicle, to survey any damage done, and help the other driver.
*I see a fair sized dent in my bumper from a telephone pole, I then hear a crash from the other car
*I grab my radio and say, "I've 10-50d, along with another civilian, checking for injuries."
*I jog over the the sedan, finding the man already out of his car surveying the damage
*I see his airbags have been deployed
    'You ok?'
'Yea, im fine, but my car aint.'
'Yea, I see, well at least you can replace airbags, but not a person.'
*I say as I pat his back
'Well, ya gota phone to call for a tow?'
    'Yea'
'And do you need a ride home?'
    'Nah, I'll call a cab.'
    'Ya sure?'
'Yea, dont want my neighbors to see me arrive to my house in a back of a police car.'
    'Yea, I understand.'
*I walk back to my car, and pop the trunk, grabbing flares and cones
*I place the flares into the little hole on the cones and place them in a line, blocking off the westbound lane.

*I, while redirecting traffic in the slick westbound lane, I look behind me and see amber lights lighting up the street

"PC-2, handling Ranger call for assistance. Code 1 response." I put the car into gear, and pulled off of the Interpass, onto the Interstate, I slowly sped up though, keeping on Lane 1, nearest the hard shoulder, just below the speed limit, so I could be overtaken without them having to speed. "COPA, any further details, over." I transmitted, as I put pressure on the brakes due to some idiot stopping for no reason.

I pulled off the Interstate, onto a poorly maintained track, and headed down the road a few hundred yards, where the Ranger's jeep was parked. I stopped just behind it, and grabbed my hat as I climbed out. 'Hey, you called for assistance, what's up?' I asked, checking the road as I walked up to the two Rangers.
'Yeah, couple of kids were looking around earlier, we got them away, but someone saw a plan on some social networking site for a party up here, could be a waste of time, but we're here anyway.' One, the slightly shorter, fatter one replied.
'Cool, any other guys here?' I asked, this time the taller one piped up in a higher voice.
'Unit 2's just patrolling, they're checking the roads more, as that'll be where the kids are.' He said, I thanked him and took my radio.
    "PC-2 is on scene. Over."

(You need to add a lot more detail in that stop.

    A. 100 mph of speed, you lose your license and got to jail for a while.

    B. You need to include full conversation and details such as running plates, etc.)

'Hey Russo, just looking out for the kids I assume.' I told him, as I saw the Rangers getting in their jeep. 'Hey, you heading out for a check?' I asked, they nodded and they sped off, searching for any trespassers, or people in danger.
'So Zach, how's it going?' I asked, sitting on my car's hood.

"PC-2 is leaving scene to assist at murder Scene, Ranger units still on scene." I climbed back into my car, and then sped off, away from the scene, lights and sirens on.
