*Swings out of where he was hiding and flicks on his takedown lights.
*Sees the car pull slowly into a parking spot.
"PC-1 Traffic stop, broken tail light, plates WIN-111"
*Approaches the vehicle placing his right hand on the trunk.
"Hello Sir, Im Officer Blanc with the ERT PD, may I see your license and registration please?"
"Do you know why I pulled you over today?"
*Gets handed and ID with the name "Ryan Knox" on it.
"Uhh. No Officer, why did you pull me over?"
"Your Left Tail light is out."
    "It is!?!"
    "Yes Sir"
"Ok, Im gona go run this, and if it comes out clean I'll let you off with a warning"
"Ok Officer, Thank you so much!"
*Walks back to his patrol car, gets in and grabs his radio
"PC-1 requesting search of current warrants on a Ryan Knox, DOB 12/12/83"
*Puts his radio down and waits for a response."

The tow truck shows up and hooks up to the car. I hear officer Blanc on the radio and hea over there for extra protection on the interstate.*Pulls up behind Officer Blanc and turns on my rear light bar lights and checks for any traffic and steps out of the car. I walk up to Officer Blancs patrol car and get in on the passenger side*

'Hey Blanc just here if you need anything I was in the area so I figured I would give you some more protection since you were on the interstate.'

"UMC-1 is out with officer Blanc just for extra protection due to traffic. Will be available for call out at this time"

*Walks up to the mans car and hands him his information
"This is yours, You have no warrant, so I let you go with a warning. Just remember to get that back light fixed."
    "Ok Officer can do"
    *Hands the man his warning
    *Walks back to his cruiser
*Backs up enough so the man can back up and leave.
"Thank you Corporal Linda, seems everything is ok, have a good day"
*Waves at Corporal Linda, with a little grin.
*Gets into his patrol vehicle pulls out into traffic then turns his takedown lights off.

'Shouldn't be too hard.' Jackson muttered to himself, ducking into the patrol car. 'Uhh, sirens, lights, looks all right. Floodlight, yep, all that seems in order. I hope.' He muttered again, checked the Shotgun was in place, and then adjusted his seat.

"PC-2, out on patrol." Jackson said as he clicked his radio on, he pulled his seatbelt across and fastened it. Turning the wheel, he pulled onto the interpass and started driving down the road, all the while waiting for a call to come in. First call of the day, and his career, so he better not mess it up, he thought to himself.

(I prefer 3rd person, just the way I've learnt it from previous RPs and stuff. But I'll give first person a shot).

"Copy, PC-2 responding to arson callout." I checked my mirrors and flicked on the lights. 'Uhh, there, then there.' I glanced at the map on the chair beside me and then put my foot down, turning on the siren as the car sped forward.

"PC-2 on a call to a drunken disorderly man, damaging property. TAC Cressler is travelling with me. Over" I said into my radio as I turned on the car, and stuck it into reverse, as I looked over my right shoulder. I shifted to Drive and then sped forward, turning on the lights as I pulled left onto the Interpass. Not much traffic ahead, I kept the siren off, and sped up, but there were a mass of taillights in the distance, half a mile ahead. Siren on wail, I kept moving forward, attempting to give the cars in front time to react, and get out of the way. I accelerated faster, pressing the siren button, turning it to yelp as I reached just behind the cars. Most of them moved out of the way, but I had to brake as a Semi driver refused to budge, even after a long blast of bullhorn. I put the siren onto piercer, and pulled to the right of the Semi, accelerating past the long vehicle and then cutting in front of it, before accelerating more, and flicking the siren back to wail. A few hundred yards to the intersection, I put the yelp back on, hoping to clear the few cars ahead before I took a left down Phoxlind Road.

A few minutes later, after driving to the Southside Lane intersection of Phoxlind Avenue, I pulled right, the siren now off, and takedowns and spotlight illuminating in front. 'Spot anything Cressler?' I asked as I turned on the rear directional lights, and braked the car, looking ahead for the drunken man.

    (Yep, drunken rampage.)

"PC-2 is on scene with TAC Cressler, we're mobile." I spoke into the radio, and then grabbed my personal one off the dashboard, before opening my side door and climbing out, into the street. Making sure that all the lights were still on, to provide us a little bit more security. I picked my flashlight off my belt, and started shining it down the road, wondering if any civilians were around, since they must of called 911.

'If we've got a shoe, we have a man who's probably walking now with a slight limp, he won't be too far I suspect. There's two things I'm worried about. One, if he attacks a person, or two, if he drowns in the harbour, we're not going to be seen as that great.' I flicked my flashlight down the street, checking for any blatant signs of anyone hiding or looking suspicious, but the road was deserted, except for a few civilians now seeing the damage to their vehicles. 'Ok, you head out down French District Road, I'm going to quiz some people here. If available, get other units in.' I started to head towards a small group of civilians gathered beside a badly damaged Mercedes, not good for them, or for the guy who had done it.

"PC-2 to PC-7, that'd be great. We're at the Junction of Southside Lane and French District Road. Recommend respond Code 2. Over." I replaced my radio on the shoulder and walked over to the group of civilians around their Mercedes.

'Good evening, what's happened here?' I asked, getting a notepad and pen out as they started to talk.
'Well, my wife and I were asleep, and we heard a large smash outside, we thought it was nothing, and just went back to sleep, but then we had glass cracking and the sound of a car being dented, and we looked out the window, to see this man, in a grubby white t-shirt, quite fat, running down the road with a wooden club, smashing random cars as he ran.' The man answered, rather angry in his robe, shivering from the cold.
'Ok sir, anything else you know?' I said as I jotted down what he had just said.
'Nothing, apart from that we weren't the first targeted, Officer.' He replied, still angry
'Thank you sir.' I responded, and returned to the patrol car, to transmit a message to the searching officers. "PC-2 to all officers in the search, man is suspected to be wearing a grubby white t-shirt, one shone, and is quite fat according to one witness report. Over." I replaced the radio on my shoulder again, and walked over to another group of families, around an extremely badly damaged Ford Focus, with all the tyres busted, and the windows caved in.

"Will respond with any details that come up from further questions. Over." I put my radio back on my shoulder again, and moved to the group near the Ford Focus. They were visibly distressed, and a woman, dark-skinned, rather tanned, came running over to me and started mumbling lots of random things.
'Ok miss, I understand you're upset. Can you tell me what you've seen?' I asked, trying not to force the issue.
'Yes officer. I was in the bar earlier this evening, and I had to walk home with my boyfriend, because we were forced to leave his car there, as he's over the drink-driving limit. But as we arrived at our house, the man has come running up and started damaging cars along our road. My boyfriend yelled at him to stop, but he just came over and wrecked our car entirely.' She replied, sobbing, it was obviously traumatic.
'Can you tell me what he looked like?' I asked, this time more sympathetically, so she would see I was trying to help, as I wrote down the details.
'Well, he was a big man, fat, quite short, about 5'5", I guess. In that white t-shirt, real dirty, needed a wash.' She told me, same details we'd had before, except we had a rough height now.
'What race was he?' I questioned, this one was often the one that enraged some people, but she just wanted her car to be fixed.
'He was white, he looked very pale.' She replied, still sobbing.
'Any idea about hair colour or length?' I said, flicking the notebook over to the next page to take further notes.
'Dark brown, looked greasy, it was long though.' Was the answer I received, he could be a drunken tramp, but he could be mentally unstable. But now wasn't the time to jump to conclusions.
'Anything else?' I asked, she responding with a shake of her head. 'Thank you for your help miss.' I said, as I walked back to the patrol car.

"PC-2 to search units, we have new details, he is a white male, suspected to be fat and short, approximately 5 foot, 5 inches. Suspect has dark brown hair, probably long hair at that, and that it looked greasy. Over." I placed back my radio on my shoulder, two interviews, and we still probably needed more information. As I finished PC-7 came over the radio and I waited for his message.
"PC-7, I'm by my cruiser, approximately house number 127 Southside Lane. 10-4 Cressler. Over."

((Heh, I thought I pulled up by your cruiser, but nevermind, I'll edit it.))

"Copy that, I'm coming over. Do we have a description of the perpetrator, over?"

*I start walking over to the adress that officer Jackson is at. I take out and switch on my flashlight, looking into gardens and down streets as I walk.*

'Ok, this suspect has lost one shoe, he's near a lot of broken glass, metal. I suspect he's injured himself somehow, may be blood somewhere, I'm not entirely sure. We need to try and see if anyone has further details, or we get another call from Dispatch.' I wasn't too optimistic, housing was the worst place to lose a suspect, too many shadows. "PC-7, he's a short, fat, white male, height approximately 5'5". Long greasy dark brown hair. Dirty white t-shirt on, armed with a wooden club, possibly has alcohol on him. Over." I placed my radio back on my shoulder again and thought to myself about plans. 'Oh, Halls, you're here.' I said, as he arrived behind us as I finished transmitting on my radio. 'Yeah, suggest away.'

'Don't worry, I got your message'

*I point to my radio to underline what i'm talking about.*

"Ok, about the search: I suggest, that you, officer Jackson, get in your squad car and drive around the area in a 2-3 block radius to see if you can spot the guy. Meanwhile me and Cressler will walk down the streets following the last direction he was seen travelling. Apparently this guy is, as you said, wounded, and maybe still leaving a trail of either blood or debris behind him. Since we have a description, it will make things easier. Sucks that we don't have any K9 units, but we'll make do. Sound good?'

'Wait, hold up. Don't over-commit here, we don't know if this is our guy. Cressler, Halls, take PC-7 to the house and check it out, I'll circle the area and standby to assist.' I said to the two others, we had 3 officers, we didn't have confirmation that our man was knocking on doors, we didn't want 3 officers arresting one mildly drunk man, and letting a dangerous one getting away. '10-4?'

I climb into my own cruiser, and sit down properly, I place my notebook on the dashboard, and then flick off the directional lights, spotlight, and takedown lights. I put the car into drive and then pull down French District Road, preparing to circle the suspected area, looking for people out at this time of night, or wait to be called by PC-7 and Cressler for a violent suspect.

*I unlock the car and get it with Cressler. I put the keys in the ignition and crank the engine, it roars to life trustworthy as always. I put it in drive and roll off down the road, pointing my spotlight towards nearby houses to look for the suspect.*

*I hit the brakes, not full on but hard enough to make the tires screech. I quickly put the car in park and get out in one motion, then walk around the car towards where the guy is crouching down. He stands up now, but he doesn't seem to want to run away. Probably tired from the walking on his wounded foot... I grab the radio mic on my shoulder clip and press the transmit button:*

"PC-2 this is PC-7, we've found the guy down the road on Southside Lane, over."

*I release the button and unbutton my expandable baton so I can grab it quickly if I need to.*

'Sir, we're from the police. Stand still right where you are! Why are you hiding from us?'

*I look behind me to confirm that Cressler is there.*

"PC-7, 10-4." I spin the wheel, making the car do a sharp u-turn towards the house. I press the accelerator down to the floor, and then brake as I turn around the corner. I see PC-7 just ahead, and the suspect hiding in an obvious position. 'Brake.' I mutter, as I push down on the brake and shift the car into neutral, slamming on the parking brake as I open my door and climb out quickly. I pull my pistol from the holster, and hold that down, just in case. A man with a club is never a fair enemy.
'Sir, show us your hands.' I shout down the road, as I move towards him slowly, hoping that he will obey us, and not resist.

*I pull my pistol out not raising it at the man but having it ready, I notice the club is still in his hands. I know the other officers can't see it behind the garbage can. 'Sir drop the club and put your hand in the air and step backwards.'*He just stand there looking at me.*

*I pull out my expandable baton with my left hand and swing it in an downward arch so that it extends with a loud noise.*

'Sir, we're not joking around. Drop the damn club and step out from there, or I'm coming over there!'

*I take one step forward to intimidate him. He seems unsecure now, shifting his gaze from officer to officer.*

((Let's step this up or I'm using the mace spray and subduing him. Wink ))
