"Any chance of gps tracking this car? Was there cell phone in the car?"
(and yeah I mean some people might be able to identify it but probably not when it's shoved in your face and your not ready for it. I bet most police officers wouldn't remember the exact caliber of a gun shoved in there face unless it was a pretty obvious gun like ak-47 or something.)

"PC-2 responding to stolen vehicle, code 3. Over." First call-out of the day, I hoped no major exercise was in order as I hit my knee on the door, climbing in the driver's door and then slamming it behind me. Shotgun in the rack, I knew that, in the trunk I'd checked a few minutes ago was my kitbag, first-aid kit and a set of traffic cones I'd added recently, after borrowing them from a friend. I shifted the car into reverse, and then sped backwards, nearly hitting another patrol car with my eager acceleration. I again shifted it to drive, and sped forward, out of the complex, and then waiting at the Interpass, to indicate left and head out to Phoxlind to assist.

As I pulled onto the road I turned on the lighting and the wail siren. I accelerated, the car shooting forward, but up ahead I could see the cars were causing congestion, probably some roadworks van had flashing lights and that was so pretty for the little drivers. 'Damn.' I muttered, adding a few more curse words, then I turned off the siren, trying to sneak along the shoulder on the right side without disturbing too many people. "PC-2 to PC-1 and TAC Cressler, I'll be longer than I thought, traffic on the Interpass." I started moving forward down the shoulder, but either a broken-down car, or someone having a break from driving had parked up with their hazard lights on. I attempted to use my bullhorn to get back in the flow of traffic, but no-one really cared at this time to let me in.

Post by C. Jackson Fri Jan 28, 2011 3:31 pm

I used the bullhorn again, knowing that I was originally Code 3 for a reason, man with gun stealing a car. "PC-2 will be there in around five to ten minutes." I blasted the bullhorn again and put on the priority siren. This time I spotted an opening and pulled in, pulling over to the next lane, and then into the oncoming traffic lanes. I put the wail siren on, bypassing the traffic by driving at 20 miles per hour in the oncoming lane, I put on my hazard lights by pressing the switch, thinking that any extra illumination would get people out of my way.

A hundred yards ahead, I spotted a gap in the traffic and pulled back into normal lanes, pressing the hazard light button off, and finally people started to yield, allowing me to make up more ground as I headed towards the Interstate. I flicked the siren onto yelp and then used bullhorn where necessary. Finally, I indicated left and pulled down the Interstate, opening up the throttle on the less busy road. "PC-2 nearly there. PC-1 I'm standing by near Tulip." I started to brake, turning off the siren as I did and then clicked on the director bar, the pattern moving left, to indicate to people to go left as I stopped on the Interstate's shoulder, twenty yards from Tulip. I grabbed a traffic vest off the seat next to me and pulled it on, just in case I had to move on the Interstate.

I see Libor jumping on the man and quickly pull my car across the interstate, heading to the opposite side of the road. I put on all of the emergency markings and fend-off the first lane next to the shoulder, giving us more room to deal with the suspect. I kept on my traffic vest as I climbed out and limped to Libor. 'You got him there?' I asked cautiously, hand headed to my baton just in case. When I realised he did, I grabbed my cuffs off my belt and moved forward to deal with the man.

I snapped my cuffs on the man, and lifted him off the floor, whether or not he was drunk, I couldn't tell, so I started to move him to my patrol car. I held him with one hand as I opened the back door and placed the man inside, he sat there, staring at me, but now wasn't the time to question him, we still had a missing car. I slammed the door behind him and walked over to the Sergeant. 'Sir, haven't we still got a missing vehicle out here?' I asked, checking my belt-kit was still all there for some reason.

'If the rims are there...' I stopped and thought for a second, leaning on my patrol car. 'Someone could go and check out those plates. Probably issuing a BOLO to the local departments is all we can do,' I sighed and opened the passenger side door of my cruiser and grabbed a notepad and pen off the seat, and started jotting down a few details about the arrest. 'So what we got missing, White '94 Nissan Altima? Taken at gunpoint. Sounds mad,' I shook my head and started writing down the details. I shook my head and looked over at Libor. 'So Sarge, any ideas?'

I said, climbing in my patrol car and restarting the engine. I then closed my door, put the car in gear and headed back upwards the station.

"PC-2 is enroute to PC-4." I pushed the car into gear and started to head back to the Interpass, heading the right way, all emergency lights on. I accelerated more and braked, pulling up just before the Interpass met other roads, putting on the directional bar, I made a u-turn and pulled across, waiting on the shoulder of the road, ready to intercept the fleeing vehicle when the pursuing vehicles passed. "PC-2 standing by to assist near the Phoxlind end of the Interpass." I put the radio back on the dashboard and got ready to chase.

"Can I get a tow down here to impound the vehicle?"
*After using his radio, gets into his patrol car and runs the van's plates, and finds they are surprisingly clean
*After doing that turns his head to question the suspect
    'Why'd you run?'
'Cuz, man, I know I have a warrant, and dis is my girlfriend's car.'
'Well, the car is being impounded'
    'Why man!?!?'
    'You really don't know why?'
*Gets out of his vehicle before the suspect could answer and opens the passneger side rear door
    'Get out'
*Helps the man out and leans him on the hood of his patrol vehicle
'Do you have anything illegal on you, or anything that could stick me, such as needles?'
    'Nope.'
*Pats down the suspect and finds a wallet, and another set of keys.
'Ok, watch your head getting back in'
*Makes sure the suspect doesnt hit his head.
*Opens the wallet, and finds 2 20's, 3/4 different credit cards, 5 business cards and an ID
*Grabs the ID out of it and takes it into his patrol car
*Searches the name threw the system and the following information is shown upon the screen
    --==--EAT--==--
    Name: Michael Coleman
    Gender: M
    Age: 26
    Race: African American

'You aren't wanted. you woulda just gotten a ticket, but now they car is impounded, and your in jail.'

Post by C. Jackson Thu Feb 03, 2011 4:14 pm

I pulled up on Fourth Avenue, ready to climb out for a quick foot patrol in the local area, when a large saloon sped past me, definitely over the speed limit. 'No rest for the wicked.' I muttered and I pulled back out of my parking space, turning on all the emergency lights. It was a Ford Taurus, he ignored me at first, then I blasted the bullhorn and indicated right. He took the hint and pulled over, so I grabbed the radio off my dashboard and depressed the transmit button. "Show PC-2 on a traffic stop, Fourth and Keller." I said, putting the radio back on it's hook and then climbing out of the car, making sure all available lights were on.

I walked up to the driver side door, gesturing for him to lower the window. 'ERT:PD, you got an idea why I pulled you over sir?' I asked him, the driver was a young man, possibly borrowing a parent's car, but I wasn't going to take that as a definite.
'N...no officer.' He replied, nervously, something was up.
'Alright then, what speed were you going?' I asked, seeing if he knew what he was doing.
'I thought I was going the speed limit Officer.' He was smart, not giving anything away.
'Ok, well I pulled you over for speeding, can I have your Licence and Insurance?' I asked.
'Can I go to the glovebox?' He replied, obviously a smart cookie. I nodded and kept my hand on my gun, he produced the Licence and Insurance, and I checked over the Insurance, it looked good enough. The ID was for a Tom Simonson, new driver, so I walked back to the car handing his things back before I turned to PC-2.

I ducked in the driver's door and brought the EAT towards me. I tapped on check details and then entered the Registration of the car.

    **EAT**

    Licence Plate #: AHF-507

    Name: David Simonson

    DOB: 03/22/1968

    Address: 686 Fourth Avenue

2008 Black 4 Door Ford Taurus

    Records:
    Outstanding: 0
    -Clear

    Past records: 0
    -Clear

    Traffic Violations:0
    -Clear
    **EAT**

The vehicle was clean, and obviously registered to his father, so I walked back up to his car, being careful not to get hit by traffic. 'Ok Tom, listen up. This time I'm gonna let you off with a warning. It's more dangerous speeding here, because of the school, your lucky it's after closing. Now, any further violations, and you might not be so lucky. Good day.' I walked back to my cruiser, I didn't like giving tickets, and this kid was obviously eager to get driving, and luckily he was just over the limit, so I could let him go.

"Units in the area, we've got reports of noise ifrom behind the Country Club. Believed to be a couple loud teenagers, possibly drunk or under the influence of drugs. Two units respond. Run silent please"

I type up a quick EAT dispatch, including the exact location, caller name, and my radio dispatch:
    Noise Complaint:
Three complaints have been made to the security on the country club, after checking, they've spotted two teenagers around back, just off the property, believed to be drunk or high, but no sign of anything by them. Just sitting around yelling. Security has no jurisdiction off of the property to detain, so they requested us respond.

*After filling out his report, walk out and gets back into his patrol vehicle, starting the engine, and pulling out of the complex, at a rather usual speed, on this snowy winter night.
*Once I left the area of the complex, I press the button on my radio
"PC-4 and 6, please advise if further assistance is required"
*I then paused for a second
    "PC-1 Patroling"
*I then let go of the button on my radio and began driving past local bars, making sure everything was OK.
*When Driving past a bar on the Trulit Interpass, I see a man being escorted out of a bar
*I then pulled over, and slide the car's gear into park looking around to make sure there was no traffic to hender my effort of exiting the vehicle, I got out and began approaching the men, 2 in all black, who probably were employed, or contracted by the bar to be security
*I press the button on the radio and lean my head over
"PC-1 Helping bar security escort someone out."
*While approaching, I begin thinking about why they may have chosen to escort the man out, I think, because it is ahead of the time most bar's close, it must be because the man was way to drunk, or chaotic.
*I reach down to my belt and grab my flashlight clicking it on and shining it
*I raise my voice above, the low, normal tone I usual talk in.
'Police, is there a problem here'
*One man in a black suit says with his very low, sharp, voice says
'Ain't no problem officer, man to drunk, we aint want him in da bar'
*Shines his light at the man, who was putting a huge effort into just staying up, while not moving
*This time, instead of raising his voice, talks the way he usually does, which is hard to hear, unless you are actually paying attention
'Alrighty, do what ya usually do, I'll just make sure he gets back to his house safely'
*I lean on the fender thinking about his brother and how difficult it has been for the both of us back home. And suddenly his thinking ends with a loud thump, as he watches the man fall onto a car, keys in hand, and trys to unlock it.
*I grab my flashlight again and shine it towards the person, noticing it was the same man that was escorted out
*I Lift myself off of the fender and approach the man, left hand holding the flashlight, right on my sidearm.
*This time, raising my voice, I say
    'Police!'
*I see the man tumble to the ground
*I then lean down to help the man up, removing my right hand from my sidearm to do so.
*I put forth a lot of effort, to lift the slightly overweight man up from the ground.
*Noticing how hard it is for me to do so, I think I should purchase a gym membership, from the gym down the road, but put the thought out of my mind as it is time for me to focus on work, not becoming stronger
'Sir, are you sure, you dont want me to give you a ride home, or help you call a taxi?'
    'Whyyy thank youuuu!'
*He says clearly intoxicated, with most likely the cheapest beer he could afford.
'Ok, what is your address sir?'
*Tries to make out what the man stutters out
    *All I can comprehend is 2 f--nch
'Sorry, but you said 2 french?'
*I asked trying to confrim the address so I knew which house to drop the clearly intoxicated man off
    'Yesssssir'
'Ok, now, I am going to help you into my patrol car, and give you a life over here.'
*I say to the man, hoping he doesnt fall again.
*I help him into the rear of my vehicle praying that he doesnt hit his head on the roof of the vehicle, which then he thought it would be nice to have a bigger vehicle, with a higher roof, so he didnt have to do this every time he loaded someone into the rear of his patrol vehicle.
'Ok, now Im going to drive you home.'
    'Thaaaank youuuu'
    'No problem'
*I make out still slightly daydreaming.
*I, while walking to the driver's seat, press the button on my radio and lean my head over
"PC-1 Out of service, helping an intoxicated man back to his house"
*I then let go of the button, and enter the Impala, starting it up, to the slight pur it usually makes
*I turn on my left blinker and begin the short drive down the road to french
*I make a left, once I reach french, following all traffic laws, except, maybe going over the speed limit, but not much, probably, around 2 over.
*I Slow to a stop, outside the walk path of the empty driveway of 2 french
    'We're here'
*I mumble to myself under my breath, bringing back another flashback, of home.
*I look around making sure the was no traffic, that could, harm me, or them when I exit.
*I quickly open my door, shut it, and hustle around the car to help the man inside
*I open the rear door, almost, pulling the man out, and almost, ragging him up the stairs to his house
*I unlock his door for him, after trying many keys, and place the man on a chair
*I then lock the front door and begin going carefully down the stairs, not wanting to slip, and humiliate himself.
*I shut the rear door of my patrol car
*I then walk to the front of my patrol car looking at the northbound lane, waiting for a moment, insuring that it was clear so I could quickly, and swiftly, enter my vehicle and resume normal activity
*I quickly move to the front of my vehicle, which I had left running, entered, and shut the door
*I then put the vehicle into drive and began making my way around town patrolling again, but before that I lean my head down, and press the button on my radio
    "PC-1 Patroling, eastern phoxiland."

*While patrolling along Chevy Road, notice a very beat up car, unsuitable for diving on public roads.
*Looks around and spots another vehicle, with impact dents to the rear, possibly from the vehicle I am following
*I decide to pull him over, and notify him, that his vehicle is not suitable for driving on the roads, and see if there are any signs of hit and run
*I turn on my lights, and switch the siren to manual, then give a few bursts, to get the man's attention
