"we'll use lights after the main search is done, right now all they do is light us up."

'ok guys let's keep moving.' *I say quietly* *I nod to bridwell to show we are ready to move.*

* I get out my cell phone, and call the ERT Hospital.

'Got good news, and bad news. Good news is that the two first patients, the one shot by the cops, and the one buried under rubble pulled through. The second one had to undergo emergency brain surgery to remove blood clots, and is being kept in a coma until the swelling goes down, but they're confident he'll pull through without serious neurological damage.'

* I let out a long sigh.

'Bad news is that the last guy died in surgery. Guess the charge against the bastards who started this fire just got updated from arson to manslaughter or homicide.'

* I get the phone again, and call COPA.

*I'm still standing by the EMS crew, watching all that is going on. Not having been requested in a while, I decide to contact OSC to see if I'm needed during the cleanup. i get on my portable radio:*

"Command this is PC-7, am I needed anywhere? I'm over by the EMS staging area, over."

*I run over to the squad with my hose, put it down, and grab a pike pole out of one of the compartments. Then I run back into the building by Botfish.*

'Alright guys, lets pack it up. Pike poles and TIC's out first. Actually, that's all that's in here...'
"Good job Hutchison. Uhhh..bring in the fan for me. Its near the rear door. Bruce, start draining out the hose line and disconnect the supply."
*I pick my pike pole back up again and start to head out of the doorway... As I get out of the doorway, I see my SCBA is low and think to myself we need a mask unit. I go out to the ladder, take off my mask, SCBA, and my jacket. I grab a crosslay, turn off the pump on the Ladder and unhook the couplings on the crosslay. I pick it up and slowly drain it out. I step on it and the last bits of water come out. I then rehook the couplings and start up a three layer load on the crosslay space.*
'Hey, Hutchison, after the hoses are put away, bring the ladder down Ok?'

(Yeah, I graduated isn't it awesome!?)
*I take my hose hose and disconnect it from the Squad and start draining it*
'Woops, forget to shut off the pump'
*I reach over and shut down the pump. After i'm done draining the hose I put it back on the Squad. I then walk over to my seat and take off my mask and SCBA*
"This is Botfish, I put away my line and pump is off"

*As I put in the supply line and close the hydrant, I wait for Bruce to finish up.*
"Ladder 1 to Squad and Pumper 11, are you guys finished with your overhaul yet?"
"Ladder 1 to PD, we'll stay on standby here until you're ready for lights."
'Bruce, you need help? Tim, I want you to help P-11 or S-1 put away their hose if they need help. You too Hutchison, I'll take care of the ladder.'

*I go get the fan frome the rear of the building and pack it up, I then go to the ladder controls and bring it down.*
"Hutchison to Lt. Hannahan, Ladder's down and the fan is taken care of."

*i grab the supply line thats hook to p-11 disconect it and walk it out then drag it over to the pumper. then i walk over to the ladder disconect a crosslay walk it out then reconect it and pack it in the hose bed*
"Hoses on the ladder are taken care of."
*i pick up the fan put it back in its compartment. and rewind the hose reel*

'Alright, I'm going over stuff then.'
*I grab my clipboard and start going over the inventory for Ladder 1.*
"Squad 1, do you need help packing up?"
"Ladder 1 to COPA, we're on standby waiting for PD. We're packed up now. Awaiting orders."

*i go over and pick up the K-12 and put it back on the truck. then i take off my SCBA and change the bottle in it and place it back in the truck. its a bit chilly out so i leave my coat on*
'Hannahan any thing u need me to do?'

'Get some water and see if the Squad needs any help ok?'
*I check off the last k12 and close all compartments. I look down at the chocks on the floor to make sure it's still there and lean against the Ladder waiting for something to happen.*
'I bet they're still searching for something...don't they need lights?' I mutter to myself.

"Sergeant Libor sir, we've already caused a lot of noise in here.' I said quietly as I walked up next to the search team. 'If we light up the area, we light up the targets as well, but your orders go sir.' I pulled my jacket up slightly and prepared to head back to the door to transmit a radio message to the Ladder units without making too much noise
"Ladder 1, I'm standing by at the door, we'll be waiting for you, we may have to delay turning on the lights whilst we finish searching for the suspect. Over." I started to walk back in, flashlight up in my left hand, and shotgun held in my right hand, pointing down at the floor.

**Looking through the T.I.C, i see body heat**
"Hey, we found someone over here."

**Just then, a chunk of the metal walkway collapses, and falls on top of the human figure**

"Man down, advise ALS"

**We start moving towards the victim, and about 10 feet away, his weapon is on the ground, and the person isn't moving.**

**We approach, and he's still not moving, and there's a puddle of blood as the patient's lying prone, a puddle of blood coming from an unknown area.**

**We go ahead and move the piece of metal, and get the patient out of the building, and begin treating him**

'Jackson this is Hutchison Ladder 1, I' bring you over the lights.'

*i go over and get some water.*
"squad 1 what do yall need help with?"

((Crap, didn't catch that Cory. Well at least he won't make any trouble at the hospital.))

(That was more for PD, and he didn't have the weapon when we ran him in.)

(Well no, and he wasn't in much of a condition to do anything at all. But the PD had no way of knowing, since it wasn't reported to them.)

"PC-2 false alarm, suspect is already at the hospital."

((Suspect is dead, died in surgery. The weapon would still be in the warehouse.))

**I arrive and pull up near the fire engines. Smoke lingers in the air, but it is dispersing as it gets farther from the site of the fire. The two squad cars pull up behind me, one with a suspect in the back.**

"Bucello to search team: do you need any additional units?"

(Sorry about that, my post didn't want to put it in quotes.)
"Hutchison to Bucello, I could use an escort to the search building to deliver lights to your search team."

"Ladder 1 to Bucello, there is a gun inside the warehouse that you might want to use for evidence. PC-2, we have a gun here. Once I get it, I'll give it to Bucello."
*I take off my structure gloves, check my SCBA, see its good for about 10 more minutes and decide to put my mask on. I first get my medical gloves and my flashlight ready and put on my mask and head inside. After a few moments of looking, I remember Garcia has it and get it from him. I hold it and make sure my skin doesn't touch it. I come out of the warehouse and place the gun on the bumper of the ladder.*
"Ladder 1 to PC-2 and , the gun is on the bumper of Ladder 1 but I need an evidence bag here. I'll make sure it stays here."

"Understood, Hutchison, I'll go with you. Hannahan, I'll send Corpral Linda to collect the evidence."

((Are those lights being delivered by vehicle or on foot?))

(Hutchison has them in hand but you might wanna pick him up just to be safe. They're small but powerful portable lights.)
"10-4, thanks."
*I lean up against the bumper, take my mask off and feel the cool breeze hit me. I then take off my helmet and I feel relieved. I figure I could help Squad 1 since P-11 is already packed up. I get off of the bumper and go to help Squad 1 but before I get there, I see Bruce is pretty much done so I start my way back.*

"Switch the lights on my command"

"Conferm you are ready"

*I take the lights over to Bucello.*
'I got them ready to go when you are.'

"We're done over here, affirmative on that weapon, it was away from the suspect, we're just gonna clean up a bit and we're done."

*i climb in the drivers seat of the ladder, take it out of pump gear and idle the engine down, glance down at the fuel gage it reads 1/4 tank.*
"hannahan we need to get fuel once we leave here"

'gotcha thanks.'

**We put away all of our equipment, dc from the hydrant, and load up.**
"Anything else Hannahan?"

Station 1 clear

"P-11, L-1, S-1 available for call out"

*I take the key in the ignition, take the ambulance out of high idle, put it in drive, then pull into the country club road, then right, then left into the complex*

'BLS-1 is available'.

*I put the radio back onto the holster, then park the ambulance in front the break room, lock it, and walk in.*

I drive the ambulance back to base. "ALS 1 avaible for call out" I say into the radio.

((hannahan are we waiting for PD?))

*I jump in the drivers seat and wait*

*I hop in the ladder hang my helmet on its hook, lay my coat across my lap and wait.*

*take our lights and place them back in the ladder, then climb in the seat and wait to be cleared by COPA*

Copy All Personnel, scene is cleared. Security will lock it down.

Request all officers please submit a small summary from their POV on call, thank you

"TAC RRT will clear."

**I drive over to Bridwell's posiiton and open the door for him; he gets in. I turn the wheel and move through the gates under the watchful eye of a uniformed guard at the perimeter.**
