Arson Third alarm

*As I step out of the shower I hear the tones drop and listen to the
dispatch and think to myself son of a I just got clean. I jog out to the
truck and step into my turnouts upon hearing we have a fully involved
structure I make sure I don full PPE. As I hop in the back of the truck I
put my SCBA on and grab my mask and put my headset on.*
"Cressler floan read to roll if it's still stable read for inside operations."

*I hear the tones as I get done checking the truck and hop in the passenger's seat as Mitch gets us rolling.*

* i pull up to the station and do a horrible parking job out front and run in, throw my turnouts on, and jump in the back with moon*
' Damn, this is gonna be big moon'
* i say, still very nervous about this as i replay the movie ladder 49 in my head*

We weave in and out of traffic heading to the fire with all the other units. Most vehicles move over but some don't with a couple blasts of the horn they move. As we get closer to the fire we can see a large column of smoke rising in the distance. I grab the radio: "COPA, this is RA-1, there is a large column of smoke rising from the incident. ETA: 2 Mins max" I out the radio back in the dock and continue driving to the fire.

* I finish strapping up my scba and throw everything on tight except for my mask as i know once we get there it will be chaos*
* my leg starts shaking on its own as everyone else is getting in and the truck starts*

*I drive up to the station right as I hear the tones through my open window. I hear my radio bleep too and I respond to the call on my radio. I then run to my side of the truck and put on my gear. I put my foot in my pants and pull up the suspenders, get my nomex on, swing my jacket on me, zip up, and jump into the truck waiting for Bruce.*
'I hate these structures fires.' (I don't, my character does lol)
*I put my headset on take a look at the EAT.*
'This station's gonna empty quick.'
*I smile and look at John's text while pulling my phone out of my pocket.*
'Ahhh, I see.'
*I close my phone and put it back deep in my pocket. I then sit back and laugh to myself. I look around waiting for Bruce to arrive.*

*As we pull up to the scene I see the PFD trucks surrounding the scene. We pull up and park by the PFD command vehicle. As we pull up I grab the ETA and write the scene size up.*

I jump out of the RA after turning on the anti-theft device. I put the keys in my pocket and look at Cory. "Alright Cory, What should we do?"

*I get the tones and jump up off the coutch from my nap. I run into the bay and hop into my boots, pull up my coverals and put on my nomex around my neck. I grab my jacket off the hanger and my helmet from above the "cage". I speed walk to the truck and put my jacket on the seat and helmet on the dash. I get in put my seat belt on and shut my door. I open the garage door and turn the ignition. I hit the four light swithces and can see the splash on the walls. I put on my headset:

"Lt. when you are ready"

* I open the door to the Engine, step into my turnout pants and climb aboard, I put my headset on and watch as jack starts the truck as The rest of the crew gets aboard *

' Alright Jack Lets roll. '

* Jack turns the lights on and I pull the Horn cord twice as we leave the station. *

" COPA, Pump-11 Responding. "

(12hrs unless cleared by OSC or COPA to respond)

' Lt, what are our plans and jobs?'
* i say still nervous about all the things that could happen that did in Ladder 49*
* I see the header in the sky as we pull out of the station*

*I pull out and speed of into traffic. I pull into the right lane of four lane interpass. As we near an itersection I see our side is full. I pull past the meadien and lay on the siren and slowly move through. I again spead off. I see a colum of smoke and then flames.

*I pull up onscene.*

"DCF1 onscene. I have a multiple structure building fully engulfed orders per units soon arrival."

"Copy DFC1, report information as you receive more. "

*I get out of the RA, head to the back of the truck and get in my new HRES gear. I grab the HRES packs, the RIT pack, and the Rehab kit. I put my HRES pack on the RIT trap and the hop in the back of the truck, set up the Rehab kit and wait.*

I walk over to Cory and we start talking about the RA and medical stuff as we watch the fire.

*Pull up to the scene. I see a hydrent up front about 20 yds. I look across the street and see the building in flames. I can see all the units already working on the fire too. I jump out of the truck and go over to the hydrent. I take my wrench out of my pants and open the hydrent to flush it. I close it and see Casey coming over with the 4 in supply line. He screws it on and I charge it.

"P-11E to P-11 Command, water is flowing to the truck"

' Lt we got any orders yet?'
* I step out of the pumper and look up at the huge building and how bright the flames are*

*as we pull up on scene I hope out and put my mask on but don't connect my SCBA line*

((Hey guys lets not get to far, we still need orders from Floan. Don't post pointless one line posts while we wait... it make my already slow internet slower lol))

*I walk back to the truck and grab my jacket and helmet. I put my jacket on and clip my helmet. I walk over and grab my SCBA to strap in. I put my mask on and fold my nomex over it. I keep of air and put my helmet on, strap it and tighten it to my head.

* as we pull up I see a Multiple story structure fully Involved and the RA unit getting itself ready. *

" Pump-11 On scene, BREAK Pump-11 to OSC McEvoy, are we entering structure or taking defensive stance. "

' Wether we go in or not, EVERYBODY BA-up I need 2 high Rise kits, 2 Halligan's and a Pike. Cressler, you and the probie are Like Glue on this one. We ALL go in together and Leave together, no need for TIC, there is fire in there lol. just grab what we need for an extended firefight and demo and lets rally next to the chiefs vehicle. '

* I Get my Turnout coat on, strap my Air pack on and grab my cover and walk over to McEvoy's truck. *

' ready for Orders chief. '

*I walk over to floan*
'ask COPA if we have resports of people in here or not we didn't get a lot of info on dispatch this might be an inhabited structure.'

'Got it Lt.'

* I walk around the truck and open three compartments. tow that contain a high rise each and one that holds two axes adn two halligans. I load up a highrise onto my shoulder and walk over to S1DC to get further orders.

' Thats why we are going over to the Chief, He should have th Blue prints, resident count (If any ) number of workers and their accountability etc etc, Once we establish that we can take it from there. '

*PFD CHIEF ONSCENE*
-No residents in building, it was evac'd in time. People are gone, but it was never officially searched, just everyone said everyone was out.-
-OSC will provide blueprints

" Pump-11 Command to Pump-11 Van Der Water, hook up to a Hydrant and man the Deck Gun, we can at least take a defensive stance until we decide on internal Operations. "

* I look up and see that there are some small amounts of debris falling from the structure, most of them still on fire but they are so small they extinguish themselves before they hit the ground. *

' Damn u guys, I dont have a good feeling about this one. '

* I hear the message from COPA. *

" Pump-11 Copies, are we clear for internal attack or wait for OSC to assign units? "

"Follow default orders unless otherwise specified"
(default is always, p-11 suppression, RA rit, ladder aerial, squad entry and Support to well support with whatever equip it brings)

*We drive out of the station and head to the fire.*
'Ok, Chris, get on the deck gun. Jack, get supply to the hydrant. Chris and Jess, vent the roof. Bruce, get mast lights going here.'
"Ladder 1 on scene."
*I jump out and put my B.A on. I go over to Floan.*

'Got it Lt.'
*I jump out and grab the k12 and wait for Chris*

*I pull up on scene jump out and put on my SCBA*
"HRES officer Botfish to OSC McEvoy, I am on scene and ready to enter building if needed"

*I get my SCBA on and air to my mask flowing then go over to William.*
'Get the outrigeers out and pull a 1 3/4 line. I want you to protect some exposures for me. There is an alleyway believe it or not, with a bunch of trash in it. Cool those down so it won't b e easily flammable.'
(In NYC, we had garbage alleyways, I put one next to this building since it would sounds resonable to have one. Is that ok?)
*I run over to the outrigger plates and grab them setting them out. I then run to the other side and do the same. I place the outriggers out and I tell everyone its clear to use the ladder.*
"Ladder 1 command to crew, the ladder can be used now."

(I didn't think Burke wanted people thinking it was NY. But I don't care)

(there are alleys like that all over in really big cities because there is no where else to put garbage.)

*I head back to the truck and grab my trusty axe and check up on the probie.*
'You ready to roll dude?'

*I see Moon and the probie and run over to them*
'Hey guys, are you ready to enter the building? Oh, and Moon, Don't catch the building please haha'

* I walk out of the cab with my scba on already and equip the air hose to my mack but leave it dangling and walk around behind moon and grab a high rise pack and a TNT tool and walk with everyone else to the command post*

'Gotta wait for order especially since I got the probie now you know the protocols'
*I head with my axe back over to the command post.*

*I walk over to my trucks and grab my tools and walk over to the command post too.*
'What are the orders chief?'

"Ladder 1 you guys do ariel assualt and vent the rough if possible. Pumper 11 will be suppression and entry as needed. SEV and the Squad will make entry to the bulding."

'Yes sir!'
*I run over to the entrance of the building and turn on my air then wait for the others*
'This is the first time I have gone into a burning building'

"Ladder 1 copies."
'Alright guys, lets get that ladder up and start venting. Be careful up there. Tell me how it is when you get up.'
*I look up at the burning building and see the smoke pluming out of the building.*

"Botfish to OSC, do we have those bluprints yet? I'll feel much safer when I have a layout of the land"

I pull on my turnout pants and get up into the driver's seat of the Squad, turning on the engine and lights, and prepare to drive the vehicle to the scene, as I wait for the other Squad members to get in the truck, I check everything is ready, and then check the EAT again for the location.

( do we have any idea of where/ how much fire we have? Im picturing like a 5 story buiding with fire shooting out of the windows and un enterable..but i may have the wrong image)

(I picture a 5 story building with the main lobby mostly engulfed)

( ok, so high rise packs probably wont do us good, pre connects are probably better?)
* I turn towards floan and await what we're going to do*

(I don't know? Maybe Burke can tell us)

(yes, this isn't gonna work to well with standpipes considering they're assumed useless due to the nature of the fire)\
"PFD reports the building is fully ablaze with explosions every ten to fifteen, can we get confrimed reports?"
