*I Give the line to Garcia and go to Galligano.*
"You OK?"
*I carry him to to a safe zone and put him down.*
"DCBurke, I need help. I need a medic!"
*I take off his SCBA but keep on his mask for fresh air.*

"Can I have an EMT to help me?"
(This guys unconscious and I don't know CPR or anything yet?)

Stops breathing!

"Can I get an AED? He stopped breathing!!!"
*I run and get the AED and gets Galligans jacket off and opens his shirt*
"Please work"
*I put the pads on his chest and make sure no one is touching him. I yell "Clear" and his body pops up. I get a heart beat and tries to see what I can do to keep him OK.

Eyes slowly open. *moans* looks a hannahan. Man, what happened?

*Grabs a backboard and a BLS bag and run over to the safe zone*

*Let's get him on oxygen.*

*Puts Oxygen mask over mouth and nose, pulls strap around back of head and begins oxygen flow*

"Alright, Hannahan, help me get him onto the backboard. On 3, we pull him onto his side, I'll slide the backboard under him, then gently place him onto the backboard. 1, 2, 3."

*Me and Hannahan Pull him onto his side, I slide the backboard under him with one hand, and we put him back down.*

On backboard. Moaning and blinking a lot. "Man. What the hell happened? I feel like I've been shot."

(an aed would do no good on a trauma nor would he pop up so quickly)

*Brings stretcher over from the curbside, and gets it low.*

"Yeah, let's get him onto the stretcher, if you can just assist me with getting it in the ambulance, then get one of the EMTs or Paramedics from fire, I'll need an extra set of hands until the ALS arrives.

*Me and Hannahan get him on the stretcher and we begin walking to the ambulance.

As I roll the stretcher, and radio into the EMS channel*

"McGuire to ALS-1. Urgent request for ALS when you are available. Firefighter down, currently on oxygen, conscious and alert of the surroundings, no memory of the incident. Unknown on body injuries at this time, he is on the backboard being brought to BLS-1."

(how the hell did a lawn mower explode? If he stopped breathing, we would be doing CPR, he wouldn't be in afib, so defib wouldn't shock him, and if we got a pulse, we would be going code 3 on an ALS rig to a hospital.)

(Use the edit button to condense the messages to use less space oh and Libor, I didn't really know what to do because i've never encountered anything like it. I'll learn though.Oh, I have no idea how the lawn mower exploded.)

*I walk away and go back to Garcia and help him with the garage fire*

"I wasn't watching at the time, but I believe it was an gasoline or oil container that ignited and blew, and I guess it threw you backwards. Any of that starting to sound familiar?"

Good evening Garcia. We have one of the new firefighters here. From what I understand a gas or oil container ignited, blew, and threw him back into the driveway. He is currently on oxygen. He is right now conscious and alert of his surroundings, doesn't remember much from the incident though, even after some reminders of it. I put the collar on just since we don't know the condition of his spine right now, but he has been trying to move and doesn't show any signs of pain. I'm thinking after you evaluate him, we will just begin transport right away with you in back with him, and once dropped at the hospital, I'll drop you back at the scene.

"I can't go with him, I've got to keep the situation under control here. Let's get another medic to go."

**I check him out.**

"Let's start a 250cc I.V t.k.o, backboard and start o2."

**I pull out the I.V kit and start it, pull a non-rebreather out of the airway bag, and start o2.**
"Just get a backboard and a medic."
