*I walk out of the break room to BLS-1, double check that it is fully stocked, and wait outside for the call.*

*Gets up out of the recliner and walks out to the bay. Opens up all the bay doors to help with a faster response and walks over towards McGuire*

**I got and check that my turnout gear is close to the Pumper so if we have respond quickly they are near the truck**

"How long has this Drug lab been operating DCBurke?"

*I make sure that I have all my bunker gear ready and sit outside in case we get toned out.*

*I get myself mentally ready thinking about things that can go wrong and things that we can do to prevent bad things*

"Whhhoooo....I kinda hope we don't get called" I say to myself.

*I put my gear next to my seat so I could jump into it and into the pumper.*

Drug lab has been up for a guaranteed 6 months, maybe longer. FBI has traced it back to here, and need us to get it to clear with enough evidence so they can bag their men.

*I pull into the gravel lot and position myself so I can exit faster if need be*

*I put the truck in park and just sit and wait and hope that nothing bad happens*

I sit down in my desk chair at the COPA and I bring up a satellite feed of the area

TAC, what's your stat?

I slide over to my other monitor and open the licence registry, getting ready to key in the information for this car. Before Libor can respond I take a sip of my double Latte and lean back in the chair. I'm starting to realize this is going to be a lot harder than a simple drug bust. Lucky us get stuck with the guys who the FBI are looking for now, just watch!

It's a red 4 dr car, older. I can't make out the make or license plate.

Alright, keep an eye on the car,if it leaves, follow it. I'll see if I can't get an unmarked city unit to do a drive by scope of the vehicle, get me the make and model.

I pull up my dispatch window for PPD, and sure enough there is a CID unit two minutes out. Marked as available. I turn on thebroadcast button for PPD radio.

"I need you to do a run by of a red car two streets over on Jackson. Got that?"
"Copy, reporting code 1"

After two minutes I hear back

"ERT, that's a red honda civic, Hotel, tango, golf 2-3-7 echo"
"Copy that 265, thanks, you're cleared, we'll contact you if you're needed."


"PC6, that's a red honda civic, HTG237E, if he leaves follow him from the road at a safe distance until he is out of sight of target, then pull over for traffic stop and report back with information."

Can you run the plate and get personal info on him?

Copy that, owner is a Johnny Tearson. No listed address. The one showing was demolished last month. When he pulls away if we haven't already tagged him, we can get him on the lack of a current address for his vehicle, then find something inside I'm sure

"I've got to move, they keep looking in my direction, I'm going to be in the area, the unmarked squad can keep an eye out"

I check a surveillance camera in the area and I see the red car pull of with 4 men now, we've been spotted.

I check TAC and from their trackers, they haven't even left the complex yet"Goddammit" I curse loudly. Right when the t rolls off my tongue I look at the screen and see a fire in the window of the house.

"LF-1, we've got a fire at 44 jackson blvd, believed to have drugs. SCBA required for entering the area."

My teams messed this one up big time

"BLS-1 to Burke, we have two gas masks onboard, so other than the possible fumes in the area from what is burning, is the scene safe for EMS to enter?"

I'm going after the car, I floor it down the road heading toward the car code 3.

"Roger that L-1 responding code three to 44 Jackson, in class D hazmat" I say and put on my apparatus as I climb into the engineer's seat and head off to the scene.
A few minutes later I arrive as dense black smoke curles into the air,
"Ladder one is on scene, we have a one story wood construction house with flames showing from the back windows and there is dense smoke, windows and doors have burgalar bars, I'm going to make entry through the door for SAR, it's open" I say and grab an axe as I make entry into the structure.

I quickly throw on my SCBA gear and follow Ewan. I grab a halligan and make entry.

"Pumper 11, where are you guys? We need to get some lines in here!"

I Scope out a room, no one there and I make my way to the kitchen, and move to the pantry where I find soemone. I check him over. "I have a vic here GSW so the right chest area, I need ALS here." I say.

*I come by Ewan and radio to DCBurke that we need ALS in the area.*

"Should I carry him out?"

(BTW, I thought you need at least 2 people on a hose line. Or can I lower the pressure so that I can use one myself?)

*As I drive out of the station, I speak on the radio while carefully weaving in and out of traffic*
"Pumper 11 responding code 3 to 44 Jackson street. ETA 2 minutes."
*I arrive in front of the house and swing open the door, put the truck in park, and put on my helmet and jacket*
"Okaaaayyyyy"
*I say as I click on my SCBA and look at the house. I pull hose off the pumper and start charging it.*
" Alright. All charged. All the crosslays are charged and the deck gun is too."
*I start spraying the outside and through the windows into the house.I know I can't do much unless told by my officer or DCBurke*
" I need help with the hose! Can someone grab one of the two other hoses?"
*I then move as close as possible to the house (without going in) and spray inside*

"Ladder one comming out with vic" I say, "Davis see what you can do for him." And then I lay him on the front lawn and grab our K-12 with a rescue blade and start to saw open the window where Hannahan is spraying.

*I then see the fire spark up a bit as I spray on it directly*
"Woah..it's hotter than I thought"
*I get a bit closer and spray the ground near near the hallway to make a passable path for the entry team*
"I'm making you a path but I still can't see inside too well!"

I hear DCBurke say that there is a fire in the building and I hear about the GSW. I flip on the lights and siren and I start hauling butt to the scene.
"ALS-1 is en route code 3"
1 minute later
"ALS-1 is on scene out with patient"
I grab the trauma bag and walk over to the patient.
I do a quick assessment of the victim and check for any other bullet wounds and find none. I put the patient on high flow oxygen and try to get him packaged the best I can because with the smoke inhalation and the fumes from the drugs who knows what its doing to his respiratory system. I am going to need some extra hands were going to have to roll him to see if has an exit wound. Also with all the stuff in the drug lab don't we need to decon him first?

"Thanks!" I say and break open the hole I just cut, then I pick up the axe and head in through the window. The heat and flames are intense and "John, get that line over here! Davis help out Jimeny!"

Copa I'm chasing the vehicle northboud Tyler drive, 80 mph right now.

Negative, remain outside, fire only enters during fire.

All units be advised scene should be cleared, and not have many victims more if any

*I move over to the doorway and spray into the house*

*I start swaying the water side to side as I go in*

Shots fired shits fired! Back right passenger opened fire on my squad, I'm fine, unknown damage, semi auto gun, requesting immediate assistance!

"Thanks John, hand me that line so I can work, then get on the deck gun and take care of the roof."

Copy that 6, sending alert to all units in the area. City and state will join pursuit

Eastbound Tulip road

*I run back outside and put down the steps to get to the deck gun, climb up, and pull the lever. I pull it up and unlock it so it can rotate. I then get water pressure and start spraying the roof as it hisses back at me. I radio back to Ewan:*
"The fire's being extinguished."

Be advised guys, no one goes downstairs without some sort of breathing apparatus. Right now HAZMAT is not needed, it's nice, but not necessary. If we've got something else down there of worry, then we'll bump it up to hazmat only

"10-4"
*I keep my concentration on the roof fire as it weakens*

"Got it, but keep it comming" I say and head in to what looks like a living room. I open a closet and find marijuana plants. "Base I've found evidence of drug use, I'll get some salvage covers and protect it, John get in here with salvage covers, they're in the right rear compartment of the ladder."

"10-4 Ewan"
*I quickly get off the deck gun and open the compartment with the salvage bags, grabs some, and closes the compartment. I then run to the living room and cover the Marijauna plants.*
*I grab the line with Ewan*
"Hey Ewan should I move them outside?"

"Keep them here for now, let's go to the next room." I say.

"Alright"
*I follow Ewan to the next room*
"Nothing much here"

"Put out the fires here, cover me while I clear that closet."

"Gotcha"
*I take the hose and start making a path so Ewan can move.*
"Alright I got a path! Go!"

I continue to help out with the victim. As soon as he's okay, I'll grab a line and help with the extinguishing.

"Hey Jimeny, I'll take care of these burns and let's heal that wound. Looks like Stage 2 burns. Soon he should be ready for transport."

More shots, my wind shield shattered, I'm pulling back from lead car and stopping to make sure I'm ok. *I pull over and flick my siren off. I feel glass pieces all over me and my seat.*

"BLS-1 to Libor, let me know if you need any treatment for wounds from the glass. Paramedics are treating the burn victim, I'll be able to step away for a few minutes to assist you if you need it."

I open the door, and find a body, shot execution style. I sigh check for the pulse, and find none "I have a female vic, no pulse, GSW to the head execution style, I'll put some covers over her body." I saw, I take the rest of the salvage covers and cover the vic's body. "Move upstairs, I'm going to break open the walls"
