PC-4 please report to District 2 for patrol assistance. PPD requested one of our cars since they're tied up with a crime scene watch.

    *Over Patrol terminal for EAT*

District 2 is the upper west side and there is no gang activity to be on the lookout for, just keep an eye out for the usual. Speeders, wreckless drivers,
    complaints, and the occassional prostitute.

Any available unit, I'm receiving a request for one partol car to patrol the Phoxlind Commerce Area. PPA is busy with a docked cargo vessel being serached, so they don't have the man power to help with the regular patrol. PPD has two units of their 4 in that area on a domestic call. So this would just be a temp assignment

*Driving down Keller Street towards Third Avenue, I spot a group of teens looking suspicious hanging out near a drug store. As I roll by I glance at them, they look away and some start shuffling off at the sight of me. "What's up here...", I say to myself, activate my lightbar, and turn my car around 180 degrees. I turn on my spotlight and direct the beam at the group of teens remaining. Two teens have gotten a bit down the street and are moving around the corner, I choose to ignore them for now as five teens still remain in place after getting my light shined on them. I press the Yelp-button on my siren controller as I pull up by the group, freezing in place those who might still have an urge to take off. I grab the radio mic:*

"Dispatch this is PC-7, request one unit code two for backup on Keller Street near Third Avenue, I'll be out with a group of suspicious teens by the drug store."

*I put the car in Park and open the door, taking my flashlight with me. Getting out I survey the scene but I don't see any particular threats, just five nervous teens anxious to know what I have in mind for interrupting their little gathering.*

"Hey guys, what's up? What are you doing outside now, standing around like this?"

I only get mumbles in answer.

*I approach them as they stand in a half circle with their back towards the storefronts now. I glance from face to face, trying to see if anyone looks familiar.*

"You guys look familiar. Have I seen you before? Why were you so eager to split up when I came driving by? Everyone here better produce an ID rather quick..."

*The five boys start looking for their ID's, I'm keeping my eyes on them and my ears on the radio for my backup unit*

Five might be a crowd, but these are actually relatively harmless teens and I have a plan for how this works out. Going to sleep now, I'll pick it up when I get back in a few hours.))

*I hear Bucello's message on the radio, but I doubt I will need TAC assistance today since I see no known criminals in this particular crowd. I keep waiting for my backup as most of the group now has their ID out ready for some checking.*

((If I'm not wrong we can do background checks etc. through our EAT terminals in the patrol cars. Can anyone confirm? ))

*I hear officer Holmes around the corner talking to the teens that got away and get on the radio*

"PC-4 Holmes, this is PC-7, can you bring the kids around the corner here so that we can keep them together and check them? I'd like to have you over here rather than 100 ft. away..."

*I get the ID-cards from all the teens and get ready to run them through EAT, while waiting for officer Holmes to bring the other kids around. Then I recall PC-6 was on the radio asking for description a little while ago*

"PC-6 PC-7, me and officer Holmes have the teens under control now. If you are available you can swing by while we do the background checks. I suspect nothing though, just checking what they are up to..."

((Allright this haven't moved along in 24 hours, so I'll finish my part now.))

*I get in my car and start running ID's through my EAT terminal. The group of teens stands waiting on the sidewalk, none of them eager to attract my attention. Nothing comes up on anyone of them, so I decide to have a brief talk with them and let them go. I get back out of my squadcar.*

"Ok guys... Looks like you're all in the clear. Why you hanging around on the street at this hour? Haven't you got better thing to do than this? Basketball, video games... Kids still do those things, huh?" *I say to the group of teens with a grin*

The group replies with "yea"'s and smiles.

"Allright then... I'm not trying to give you guys a hard time, but when you stand around seemingly not doing anything, and start walking away when the police show up, we get suspicious. Try to stay out of this situation from now, ok?"

They all seem to agree this is wise.

"Right. You guys be off now, sorry for the inconvenience. Have a good evening!"

*I return all the ID cards and get on the radio again*

"PC-4 this is PC-7. I'm leaving now, none of my subjects showed up in the system. You handle the two you have over there, I bet they won't be in there either. Notify if you need my assistance!"

"COPA dispatch, this is PC-7. I'm clear and returning to patrol standby. Over."

*I get back in my car, turn of the warning lights and the spotlight, and sit back waiting for PC-4 to clear.*

((edit your post, we have a fillup centre at the TEC depot))

Anyone in the area of commerce wanna head down there and check out reports of an overflooding well. City crews can't go down in time. Check it out.

Any takers on help for removing vehicles blocking the area of the west docks for the Port authority. They requested a unit, just extra man power.

*I turn of Fifth Avenue and head down Empire Road. Looking for the well in question, I spot some cars backed up going very slow on Tenth Avenue and turn onto it. I activate my emergency lights and drive by the line of cars. As I get up towards the front one, I see about 150 feet of the roadway partially covered by water, a few inches deep, water is also starting to run onto the sidewalk.
I park by the sidewalk and activate my directional bar, and then get out of the car. I wave the line of cars by, the drivers speed up and leave. I grab my radio mic*

"COPA this is PC-7, I've arrived at the well leak on Tenth Avenue. There's a leak all right, but it's not stopping the traffic yet. One lane might be blocked if this goes on for another hour though... Do we have ETA on the TEC's?"

*I keep waving traffic by, making sure it doesn't slow down to much so we get a congestion.*

That's a negative. They've gotta wake the TECs and bring them in off duty, so we're looking at anywhere from 40 mins to 2 hours. Just make sure traffic can handle it.
