Triage what is it like there?
(Bomb triage will be done like the hospital. Drop people off in a topic I'm gonna make now, EMS will have to watch both, sorry guys)

"DC-1 COPA, do you read?"
*I see a young man running out, he's got a nice gash across his forehead*
'Listen here, across the road, down that alley, there are ambulances, get yourself checked out.' I direct him to the Triage area
(+1 green to Triage. Total Green count = 0 on scene, +1 at triage)
(J Forsyth special orders active)

"Cressler to command continuing search of second office. Mitch feel free to give me a hand in here now that it's deemed safe again."

*I check the sign on the door and take a swing with my axe to break it open. As i walk in I notice it's pretty empty must be switching companies*

"Cressler 2nd office is clear no victims"


(Offices searched: 1-2)

*As I crawl through the room searching around I hear a snap and hear a creeking sound before feeling something heavy fall down onto me pinning me underneath it*

*I watch as the vending machine falls over onto Jess*
'Jess!'
*I run over to her and try to lift the vending machine off of her*

(Guys, no debilitating injuries!)
"Ladder 1 to interior SAR. Give me an update."
*I look at Frank quickly and I look toward the place again.*
"Ladder 1 copies COPA. BREAK "Chris, grab a line, charge it and go in with Pumper crew."

'Mike transmit a Mayday I cant reach my damn radio'

*I head back out of the second office and start towards the third when I think I hear something fall but figure it's just the sing of fire.*

(Lt. they have orders from burke let them go they know what there doing )

(Jess was given special order by me. If it isn't supposed to happen but i say soemone's special order active, then it's okay)
*I'm pacing nervously outside the building, watching everyone*

*I grab my radio as Jess sets her PASS alarm off*
"MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY ladder 1 SAR team weve had a vending machine fall onto Jess I'm trying to free her now"

"Cressler copies mayday moving to your position now i'm on the second floor. BREAK RA1 do you copy traffic activate RIT"

'Right. now....get this thing off of me. Please?'

*I hear the mayday*
'shit!'
"Ladder one, all rescue teams, RIT to third floor, we've got a woman down. Trapped! Lets go go go!"
"EMS be aware we've got a firefighter trapped, will be coming to you guys, priority ambulance transport please. Use a PEMS one if needed"
(Beard, your orders are still active, keep going anyways)

'I'm working on it Jess...geez its a friggin vending machine its not like its a 5 pound item'
*I keep trying to lift the vending machine off of her*

*I grab my axe and look for the steps to the third floor where I find mike and jess.*

"RA1 bring the board and straps."

'Oh for crying out loud just lift the damn thing up and Ill crawl out!'

*I grab one corner of the machine*
'Moon grab the other we should beable to lift it up enough for her to crawl out'

"Triage alert of RIT, preparing a PEMS ambo now"
(Take your time, we've gotta wait for RIT )
*I check for whatever information I can get, all the while still keeping an eye out for anything suspcious..*

'Hannahan, get me the ladder trained on the third floor for the RIT, now, that's a direct order!'

'Hey jess I guess we've come full circle time for me to save you'

*Me and Mike give it a hard push and get the maching up Then I yell out to jess.*

'Stay down I don't want you to gain any more injuries let rit come get you out of here.'

"RA1 Copies direct, enroute to the 3rd floor. BREAK RA1 to L1 SAR, what is condition of victim?"
*I grab my RIT equipment and head in to the building with doug on my tail.*

'Don't strain yourself. Wait for RIT and then lift the thing up. Haha. It's not like it hurts too bad or anytihng I should be fine'

*I pull of my mask the air is thin enough I can breath and I begin to check jess out. (cause thats a first :p)*

"Cressler to RIT team she is conscious can't find blood but with a pack on your back if something falls on your chest it's never good for the back. No major cuts from what I can tell"

"Hey hey, RIT, you've got a ladder waiting at the front window, you should be able to get her outta there quicker.. "

"Police, whats your status on searches for suspicious"
(Wade and Martins, wait for Beard before your orders are active)

*Doug and I get to the 3rd floor and see Mike and Moon, trying to lift the vending machine off of Jess.*
'Guys hold off for a second. Jess are you having any trouble breathing or pain any where? Did you hit your head?'
(DC do we carry MAST pants?)

(Damn, you guys are reading my mind. Too fast haha)
'Shit'
*I move back and forth for a second and stop, breathe,and I stick the ladder up to the third floor.*
"L-1 to RIT, its up. Jess we're coming for you hold on."

(I lifted it she's out.)

*I see cory and doug show up.*
'Hey what brings you guys to town long time no see.'

(RIT Teams have them yes, but you won't need them, we're not gonna have her too too bad, just minor, no major cuts or anything)
"DC1 RIT I need an update,"
*I walk into the lobby and look around, the fir eis still burning hot, water still bathing it, looks though like we got most people out, I'll hear from bruce soon I'm sure*

DC need me to do anything?

I stay near the ladder and wait for a reply from DC.

'No trouble breathing, no head impact if anything its just brusing from the machine landing on me.'

"Daniels, standby down there, wait for Forsyth to come down, then help RIT bring her to the Triage, we won't be using the truck, it'll be too hard.. They'll want the hand walking her over."

"RIT, once you've got her down, Daniels will help bring her to triage, no truck for transport. All other officers please report back to complete SAR, Mike, I want you to go to rehab"

'Oh Did I ever tell you I hate ambulances?'

((This is absurd, we can't wait anymore. What if there are other bombs inside the building?))

**Bridwell's car drives into the compound, followed by Holmes's. I wave them over to the RRT truck.**

'What the hell is wrong with you? You picked one hell of a day to sleep in. Your weapons are in the car, and so are the explosive ordinance disposal kits. Get helmets and flak jackets on; we can't lose guys to shrapnel injuries. When we get there, we will aid crowd control first. If we find the perpetrator, we take them in. Once all of the casualties are removed from the building, we'll sweep for explosives. Ask questions on the way to the scene.'

**I start up the truck and drive to the scene with Holmes, Halls and Bridwell inside.**

"RRT responding Code 3; will aid crowd control upon arrival."

**In switching radio frequencies, I accidentally turn on the car radio, which is tuned to a news station.**

Radio: '...and we are getting reports of damage to the inside of the building. There's a heavy emergency presence outside, and roads in the area are in the process of being closed. Avoid the area if you can. For those of you joining us, there has been an explosion in the area of the stock exchange. A lot of the area has been shut down -'

**I turn off the radio.**

Roger that DC.

I get the stretcher and wait for RIT.

'Ya know Jess sometimes I wonder about you....'

*I see tac pull up*
"Hey, you guys, get over here and make sure everyone keeps away from this building unless they're one of us, we may need you afterwards"

'Understood, sir. Which building was affected? There's a lot of smoke blocking the sign in front of the building.'

**I activate the bullhorn as the rest of TAC exits.**

'ALL CIVILIANS ARE TO MOVE NORTH TOWARDS SEVENTH AVENUE. INJURED PERSONS MUST SIGNAL FOR A PARAMEDIC, OR HEAD TOWARDS THE WAREHOUSE ON BOADER ROAD, THERE IS AN EMS STATION THERE'

'The stock exchange, the parking garage was bombed this morning as a warning.. I'm scared for a dirty bomb, if that goes off into the water supply'I nod towards the building 'We're royally F*cked'
"Beard what's your status?"

*I step out of the RRT, taking my helmet with me. I've already got my schrapnel vest on along with the rest of my TAC gear. I wait for the rest of the team to assemble while I try to take in the scene; it's quite a bit of chaos going on right now. I see firetrucks and their crews working, further down the street I can see other police units going about their business.*

'Andy, do me a favour and go check out the areas, make sure we don't have anyone mind injured... This kinda stuff is traumatizing, no visual images, but their minds get fried'

'Alright, Doug, lets get that pack off. Moon slide the KED down behind the air pack as Mike lossens the straps. Doug get her sized for a collar. I'll get the trunout gear off. Leave her clothed for now till we get her to whoever's transporting.'
*We switch out her airpack for the KED, and I take off all of her turnouts. Doug gets a c-collar on her.*
'Alright lets get that KED on tight and then we'll slide the board under her and just lay her back on it.'
*We get the KED tightened and lay her back on the board. We strap her down and secure her head to the board. I quickly get an IV in and and hang a bag of saline. We put her on a none rebreather mask at 15 lpm.*
"RA1 to L1 and Command we have her secured to a back board an are preparing to bring her out. BREAK to Command, notify triage that she is conscious and alert, we have her on 15 lpm of O2 NRB, IV .9 NS with a 16 ga in the L AC, no vitals taken at this time."
'Alright everyone lets get her out of here. Doug, slide that stokes over here. We'll lift her into the stokes and then take here out the ladder.'
*Wee all lift up and place her gently into the stokes basket then Doug and I take the stokes basket over to the window.*
'Doug you go down first with the stokes, we'll hook our truckie belts to the stokes and to the rope on the Ladder so that we both share the weight equally. you go down first and contol it. Mike, come over here and halp me hold her till Doug's ready on the Ladder.'

'You put a collar on me and I will strangle you Cory. I can move every part of my body. Hell. I can walk to triage myself. I just cant lift a who knows how heavy machine off myself haha by the way Cory just kiddin abou the strangling'
*I smirk at him*

" Pump-11 command to all units assigned to Pump-11 Fire supression, Move in on the building, Internal Operations have been granted. Jack, Tim go ahead and grab an 1 1/2" line each off the truck and head to the 3rd floor, Tim can you report status to me on your ascent and attack, Galligano Continue on the Deck Gun, Casey, you and Botfish grab an 1 1/2" line and head to the 2nd floor. Im gonan follow to the 3rd. "

* I grab a Halligan and head into the building. *

*I look up at the smoke rising into the air and see almost everyone from ERT doing one thing or another. 'They really hate us. We must be doing something right heh' A small smile comes to my face and I think of being at home going to fire stations every other day in NY. I then get back to reality and focus on the fire. I see the RIT guys coming down so I move to the side and become a one second spotter for Doug holind his back so he won't fall.*
'Alright. lets get her down here.'
*I get down on concrete and help them put her down on the ground. I look down at Jess and wave really quickly then go back up to my controller post.*

"DC1 to RIT, we're copying, I'll have O'Reilly waiting for her to take over with some PEMS guys at traige, daneils is down below as well"

'Sir, do you want us to go back to base and get our gas masks in case there is a dirty bomb?'

**Several dazed civilians stumble out of buildings and make their way up the street. I repeat my orders over the bullhorn and they hasten to get away. One of them is bleeding from the arm.**

'SIR, OVER BY THE OFFICE BUILDING, YOU'RE BLEEDING. STAY WHERE YOU ARE AND A PARAMEDIC WILL ASSIST YOU.'

**The man stops and tries to wrap a piece of clothing around the gash on his arm.**

"EMS, there's one injured man at 9th and Commerce. It looks like he's losing blood."

'Allright sir, I'll go have a talk with the FD officers and see what they've got cooking!'

*I walk over to Bucello and put my hand on his left shoulder.*

'DC asked me to do a walk-around, I'll be over by the FD. I'm on the TAC1-channel if you need me.'

*I pat my radio to indicate that I'm reachable by radio. Bucello acknowledges with a nod, and I walk off towards the ladder truck. I see lt. Hannahan pacing around, and decide to have a talk with him.*

'Hey Hannahan, I'm Andy Halls from the TAC group, how are you doing? Head above water?'

'Jamie, if he can walk, direct him to the building, we're not picking up anyone who can walk, only the ones who can't, as for masks, not yet, I've got some, and our trucks have some, but masks'll be useless against whatever they'd use anyways, they're smart, not that dumb to make just a breathable toxin".

'Just precaustions jess you know the drill. Hey you do you guys have her here? I'm going to head back to the second floor i'm sure we still have people trapped.'
*I see them nod I grab my axe and head back to the second floor. As i'm leaving I turn to jess*
'See you on the outside.'
*I reach the 2nd floor and start to pick up where I was getting ready to clear the 3rd office.*
"Cressler to command back on the 2nd floor getting ready to search the 3rd office."

*Doug gets on the ladder and hooks in to the rope. Mike hands off his end of the stokes to Doug. Doug hooks in to it and take the full weight as I get my belt hooked in. I then head start heading down the ladder.*
'Jess stop clawing at that collar, we have to make sure that you don't have a c-spine injury before we can take that off.'
*We reach the bottom of the Ladder and wait for mitch to come over.*
'Mitch we need a hand getting her off of the top of the ladder deck.'
"RA1 to Command we have her out and when Mitch gets over her we'll be transporting to triage."
