Bomb Threats in Phoxlind

"S1C I copy I'll be moving to ninth street in front of the mall to set up command."

*I flip a uturn and speed down eighth to boarder st, then I cut down to ninth. I pull up in front of the mall on ninth and shut off my siren. I hop out and run around to the back and open up my tailgate. I start up the radio back there and get my EAT started.*

* The Blast rocks the engine for a moment, I look back and see a Large cloud then Dust everywhere. I look at my crew who are visibly shaken by the event. *

' Ok guys lets move, casey turn us around and pull up as close as u can to the building, Mike when we are on Scene Immediatly jump on the Deck gun and Coordinate with Ladder and squad crews to cover their entry and exit from fire, Jack you and I and Casey lets get 2 2 1/2" lines and start in.

* The Engine comes to a halt in front of the building, we all jump out ready to do our tasks. *

" Command Pump-11 On scene starting suppression. "

"Sev-1 to on scene command do we know if there are more terrorists in the building? I'm not sure how safe I feel doing SAR with guns in there"

(If anyone posts with just OOC, I'll hurt them, I want you to roleplay things that'd be in OOC if possible)
"Watch yourself, there could be more bombs that are hot. DC1 FIRE, we're unaware of the presence, all TTOs are to bring their knives but not a gun, it'd be too unsafe, doubtful anyone stuck around for the party though."
"DC1 COPA, do you copy? Kelly?"

I grab my knive out the TTO cabinet and grab a set of irons.

*I walk back to the sev and grab my knife. I think to myself I'll probably just use an axe if i really need something it will be quicker. I walk back to the squad*
'Raven do you want to stage some ALS gear in the lobby in case we find someone that we can't move without a board?'

' Austin, Tim go ahead and grab an additional 2 1/2" line from the truck and follow us, We're gonna start suppression around the structure and hopefully start internal operations once everything is clear. also be ready to grab victims from S-1 and L-1 when they come out. '

As I see the fire units turning up outside, I move out of the building and leave control to them as I head over to the Magnum and pop the tailgate open, and click a button on it, to turn on the rear interior lights and director bar, I grab some cones and traffic flares and start to walk down the road, shutting it to vehicle traffic at the Intersection with Ninth Avenue, so no cars will turn down the road. I look up at the building and see the devastation as Fire Command and other units arrive and start to set up on scene. I walk over to the truck and see McEvoy running the fire show from his SUV, and I stare at the building for a while, seeing all the crews springing into action.

* I yell to hannahan ( but burke you can answer)*
' Hey LT can we use our radios yet?'
' Ok Floan, Austin you grab nozzle, i'll flake the line out'
* I hook my mask up and start flowing air and start flaking the line out*

*i hop in the drivers seat along with everyone else and speed off twords the mall. once i get there i hop out and grab an SCBA and throw it on and grab my Tac knife and clip it to my waist. then i grab a Hallogan and an axe and run into the builing*

*I see Jackson placing cones*
'Hey, don't waste your time, I got cops closing off at 7 and 10, and boader road, so we aren't tied up. You focus on your primary training, catching bad guys '

(just incase you didn't see my post above, keep it at a decent pace guys, we've got a full team, half of which is active right now)

"Fire you guys on the air yet? I'd like some company"

*I grab the 2 1/2" line with Matthews behind me*

*I hop off the ladder and grab an axe and wait for Mike to grab a Halligan*

*I start putting in the eat what which units are doing.*

"S1C to COPA, can I get the scimatics to the building ASAP. Thanks"

'Alright, cool, just making sure, we are Traffic after all.' I chuckle. I move back to our magnum with the cones and flares, and chuck them in the boot, and pull out the first aid bag and a few waters and drop them at the rear of the car, just in case we need to help someone out quickly.

"DC1 Squad, get inside, and split up, two to four man teams unless there is someone HRES trained, they can go alone for this one time, just nothing too dangerous. HRES please ensure you're safe"

*I walk inside and feel the heat of the fire burning my face. there must be at least 10 people trapped here, no way we evacuated from this... Where are my fire teams?!*

*Building schematics are week at best, the first floor was all open, second was a open middle floor with a row of 10 offices on the rear, the top floor has two sets of M/F washrooms, and 15 offices, around the edge of the centre oepning. Rectangle building. No other schemes available*

*I jump off the ladder grabbing a halligan and I meet up with Jess*

'Ready Jess?'

"Sev-1 copies Cressler going in solo"

(DC1 is me, and I'm going out now for a couple hours, try and not get too busy with this, keep it slow, like I said, we've got lots of people)

*we walk into the building and start working our way to the top floor*

*After i arrive, i get out of my car*

*I crouch, and go to my trunk, removing the anti bullet blue vest*
*I, still crouching, run to Hutchison*
'Hutchison, is there anyone else of the PD in the scene?'

" Command Pump-11 ia on the air and beginning suppression. "

* I watch as Casey, Jack, austin and Tim pull hose lines and start connecting them, Galligano starts to fire up the deck gun and before long the mist from it begins to soak us, I take off my mask and grab a Line with Jack and start moving towards the flames which stretch as far as my side vision will allow *

' It may seem overwhelming right now u guys but focus on keeping the flames away from the truck and ourselves, the fire will have no choice but to die down. '

" Pump-11 to Ladder 1 and Squad 1 let us know when you are entering and where, we will cover your entrance from fire. "

*grab my axe and head into the building as I step in the building I turn on my SCBA. It doesn't appear to be much trouble in the lobby so I head up to the second floor where it looks. Well it looks like a bomb went off.*
"Inside to command fire appears to be localized on the second floor"
*I head to one end of the offices and prepare to search.*

*I turn on my air and Tm says hes ready I go over to the side of the building*
'Get ready'
*I pull back on the nozzle and start hitting the fire*
"SEV-2 begining fire suppresion"

((This may be the last time I am on tonight REALLY busy))
"Anders copies Radio test"
*I lug my 2 1/2 line with me as I run through the throngs of people tring to get next to the building. I get to where I want to be and put on my SCBA and go on air, I walk into the lobby where fires are burning violently on the second floor.
"Anders to pump ops, Charge line 3 now!"

"SAR to suppression made entry on the second floor can you try to hit back the flames on the D side those offices appear to be almost fully involved there is no way I can get in there right now."

I see Manuel's car pull up, and as I reach the Magnum, I wave for him to come over. "CE-1 to Fire, if you have basic cuts injuries, we can assist with their treatment and getting them to triage if needed. Over." I say into the radio, putting it back on my shoulder flap. I pull the helmet off the back seat and plant that with the rest of our equipment, ready to assist where we can, and arrest any we need too.

*Before he answers i notice a traffic car*
*I see him waxing*
*I run to his car*
"So, what's the brief , sir?"

(Deputy Chief 1. McEvoy remember. Oh is Jack Leuckenbach cleared to come back yet?)
*We pull up with the Q blaring and I get my mask on quickly. I walk around to the back of the truck and I open the compartment.*
"Ladder 1 on scene. We're getting some egress ladders up for all crews. We're putting the stick up too at the second floor window."
*I grab a single ladder out of the back and I look up and see small pieces of shrapnel still falling. I take it out and put it under my arm as heavy as it is and I put it down next to the truck.*
'Chris, help me get these outriggers out.'
*I run to the pump panel and under it lay two outrigger plates. I take those out and I set them down. I then go to the smallest compartment, the one with the outrigger controls, and I open it to start putting the outrigger down.*

I stand behind the car and keep checking my equipment, I grab the first-aid bag and sling it over my shoulder and check my bullet-proof vest as Martins turns up. 'Oh good, more PD, alright, we've got fire on the building, we're assisting with evac and securing the scene, anyone who looks suspicious, pull 'em out, no weapons unless needed.' I say to Martins as I point whilst speaking.

"Surpression copies, making way to side D"
*I walk around the building slowly with the hose still on and start hitting the flames*
"Sev-2 surpression team to all units inside, you guys better be careful, it looks pretty unstable from out here"

"Copie if i can get a line inside to cover me i'd like to start at that end of offices because anyone in there has to already have 3rd degree burns."

* I walk out of the Lobby to the outside and start looking at Austin and Jack fighting the fire, I walk over to Casey. *

' lets start hitting over in this direction. '

* I point to a large area whee a header is showing through the sheetrock. Once he starts on that section I walk over to Jack, Austin and Tim. *

' U guys ok? *
I watch as the 2 lines work on 2 seperate sections of a larger fire protruding from the 2nd floor *

* I go back to casey and assist him. *

' Keep an Eye on the Ceiling, if it starts to run the ceiling back out of that area and widen your stream. '

"10-4, Anyone in there is probbly severly wounded or dead. BREAK. Exterior attack to Ladder, do you have anyone available to assist on the inside?"

(They're won't be, they're all running from the bomb.)

'Ok. Anyway, follow me, we're gonna go check the lobby again.' I say to Martins as I walk away from the Magnum and into the building, most of the people are now gone, except for those with minor injuries like concussion, that the Fire guys can't treat as they have more important issues to deal with. I kneel down next to a few of them, who are just dazed, but find one guy with a gash in his head, doesn't look severe, but I decide to check it quickly now, and then move him to Triage.

*As Jackson finishes speaking, i see 3 people leaving the building, with 1 child*
*I run to them*
"Hello, come, follow me please, is there any of you hurt?"
The woman: "Yes, my baby is uncounsius, please help us"
"I will take her to the EMTs, please, get out of here, hurry"
*The woman hands the baby to my arms, and, as they run away, i go to the FD's EMT's*
"Someone take care of this baby"

" Pump-11 Copies Cressler, BREAK Pump-11 command to Pump-11 deck gun keep an eye on Cressler's entrance and assist him with knocking down anything in his path of entry. "

* I watch ad Casey continues to attack the fire that has now startedto spread out from the sheetrock in the lobby area. *

' Casey as long as it doesnt hit the ceiling lets start moving in and attack closer. '

"Botfish to all units, I am here if you need me. I am an EMT"
*I see an unconcious baby.*
'YOU NEED ANY HELP?'
*I yell*

The man's cut was only a small one, just bleeding a lot, so I hand the guy a bandage and tell him to apply pressure to it, and head to the triage zone for better treatment. I watch the FD guys get to work, and start checking the rest of the lobby, and start to make sure the desk area has no vital information on it.

"YES I DO"
*I yell to him*
*I run to Bootfish*
"This baby was inside the building, its a girl, take care of her"
"I must go back"
*I hand the baby carefully to Botfish*
*I run back to Jackson's car*

*We get those outriggers down and I go up to the back end of the truck. I use the ladder controls to get the ladder up to the second floor but not in it yet. I then come back down and use the single ladder to somewhat stage for a possible collapse of the building. I then grab an extended ladder and me and Tufts put it against another window. After extending it, it also reaches to the second story and I radio to others to let them know after putting two more ladders of the same kind up.*
"Ladder 1 to fire units, we have ladders on the front side, left and right sides of the building. We also have our stick up for emergency egress of more than one person. Do you copy? BREAK "SEV-2 We have our SAR units in leaving us with two guys out here.""

' Go ahead and take it austin, i got the line, ill wrap it and sit on it'

"SEV-2 copies all"
*I shut the hose off and step back and check the babys pulse it's heart rate is 110 beats per minute and her respitory rate is 20 breaths per minute*
"SEV-2, I NEED ALS!, I have a 4 month old unconcious baby, shes going down quickly!"
*I start giving the baby CPR*
"Can I have an ETA on the medics?"

"Jackson, may you tell the FD inside that the building dosen't look so good outside?"

*i get to the loby and see no smoke and head twords the 1st floor bathroom i open the mens room and see and large ammount of smoke so i shut the door and mask up then i open the door and make my way in i feel my way arround and find nothing. once i exit the 1st floor mens room i up clip my mask and check the womens bath room its clear of smoke so i make my way in and find a lady with a gun shot to her chest. she sees me and starts yelling for me to help her*
'L1 HRES to command ive got one GS victim on the 1st floor in the womens rest room. i am bringing her out to EMS then ill resume my search'
*i assist her up and help her walk out side of the building and over to the awaiting EMS units*

(why did someone take there baby to the stock exchange?)

*As they start to work the fire back I see the only chance I might get to enter the first office*
"Searching the first office."
*I check for heat and look for any bulging in the door or to see if it's breathing. It looks good I take my axe and smash it in and roll out to the right. Then I step in seeing one man laying badly burned it appears the bomb exploded and the the fire receded. I look at him he is almost 80 perecent 3rd degree burns.*

'Sir can you hear me sir are yous till alive'

*I see the man move his arm towards me and I think wow the last time I saw this I was in Iraq and our convoy had just been blown up.*

"SAR to command I need a board in here I have a badly burned man 3rd degree over almost 80% of his body there is no way I can move him without a board He is alive."
