Bomb Threats in Phoxlind

'that's my cue Cory. C'ya back at the station'
*I grab my turnout pants which I never put back on since I wasn't allowed back in the buildin and put m helmet on my head before grabbing the collar and heading over to the ladder and climbing in laying my turnout pants on the floor near my seat*
'what's up guys? How you all feeling, I know I'm sore and tired haha'
(I had my turnout coat on but not my turnout pants)

'Alright guys, lets clear up. See ya'll at the station.'
*I close my door and put on my seatbelt and make sure my SCBA is snapped into my seat and I don my headset waiting to go.*
"Ladder 1 available and returning to station."

'Hey Lt. Can we get some ice cream haha'

I load the last thing in the Squad and hop in. 'Lets get going'
As Davis hops on I start the Squad and start driving to the Station.

"Squad 1, returning to station"

**With the bomb defused and carrieds away, and the scene effectively secured, TAC really isn't needed here. Either the traffic division, city police or federal agents are going to take over, but that's not TAC's job. As the rest of the team gets into the back of the RRT truck, I get into the drivers seat and start it up.**

"TAC RRT will return to Alpha Base."

**I put the car in gear and drive off.**

With the scene now closing down, I take off my helmet and put it on the roof of the magnum, as well as putting the first-aid bag in the trunk, and making sure everything is secure in the rear as I slam down the tailgate. I sigh as I look over at the building. 'I hope we're not gonna be relied on to search the building for evidence and stuff.' I say, half to myself as I see the fire units starting to drive away, along with TAC.

*I walk over the the back of the magnum and take off my helmet then i talk to Jackson*
'I have to agree with you. If we have to do evidence collection thats really gonna suck'

"RA1 to COPA, we're clearing the scene, we'll be enroute to quarters shortly."
*I grab the RIT pack and stow it in its compartment. I put the rehab kit under the bench seat and clean up the back end of the truck.*
'Doug, I'll drive us back you can ride passenger's seat. See you Jess.'
*I climb in to the drivers seat and turn the truck on. I grab the radio.*
"RA1 COPA, we're enroute to quarters, cleared by DCF1."

" Copy that Command Pumper-11 will be clearing shortly. "

' Ok guys lets load up and go. '

* I step into my truck and put my headset on and wait for the restof my crew to load up. *

"SEV-2 to COPA, clearing shortly"
*I hop take off my bunker coat and helmet and set it behind the seat. Then get into the drives seat and wait for Tim Matthews*

*I walk back to my truck, unlock it with my key fob, and hop in and wait for the rest of the units to clear.*

*I climb into the driver's seat of the Pump and shut my door. There is still some chaos as people are tring to grasp what has happened.

'Alright Lt. our job is done, lets go home.'

*Casey gets on and I release the parking break and begin the drive to the station.

' Alright Jack take us back to the house. '

" COPA, Pump-11 clear, returning to station. "

' Oh jeeze austin what a call, hope nothing like this happens again'
* i throw my coat in the back and climb in and settle in my seat*
' Take us home austin'

*I start my engine and throw my truck in drive, I then grab my radio mic*

"DCF1 to COPA, Fire command being broken down, I'll be returning to the station."

*I start towards the station*

I pick up two backboards, the bag of oxygen, the ALS bag and head back to the SEV. I open the cabinet for the ALS and put it in there, I then walk to the rear and slide the backboards in the rear locker. I pull the keys out of my pocket after putting my SCBA in its locker. I open the drivers door, hop in, start the engine and wait for moon to get in. I take a SIP of water while I wait.

(Mitch I'm at the ER i'm not getting in the SEV)

'Anyway Zach, might as well head off it seems, or just bring your car over.' I say, turning towards the trunk and opening the tailgate as I bring out the digital camera, which is used for investigations. I hold it up steady and take a few photos of the front view of the building, just for a view before Forensics started to move in. 'Goddamn it.' I say again, just starting to shake my head again.

((Ah, ok sorry guys. Alot has gone down when I have been sleeping or at school.))

I put the SEV in drive and pull away from the scene to head back to the station. I grab the COPA radio: "SEV-1 returning with one firefighter onboard. SEV-1 Out."

I turn off the lights and try to think what the hell Happend here while driving to the station with the others.

'Yeah, that was some call!'
*I start up the ngine and head home*

"Received all transmissions."

'Yea, lets get ice cream!
"Ladder 1 to COPA, we'll be out for a short food run. Keep us in service."

'ok guys, let's tape off the whole lot, corner to corner, we can use the stop lights as corners.

'Got it, then FBI are gonna take over the scene or?' I ask as I grab the crime scene tape out of the car, and start to close off the whole section between Eighth and Ninth avenues, so that the crime scene is closed to all but our police units and the FBI, who'll probably end up with a lot of forensics teams on scene later.

'Ok Sarge'
*i walk back to the car and i get the crime scene tape and evidence signs out of the trunk. I quickly secure the crime scene*

"Guys, close the scene up and hand it over to FBI to finish investigations"

"Already done, we'll be clear."

"Copy, report back to headquarters, you're all off of active duty for the next day, a vacation day from me "

"CE-1 is leaving scene, over." I say into the radio as me and Matt climb into our Magnum, after checking all of our stuff has been returned to the car. I shift it into gear, and drive around the crime scene tape as we pull away, and head back to Headquarters.
