'Hello Andy...yea i'm doing fine but just nervous here. Never had things like this since that boat fire. Kinda used to explosions. I just don't want my guys to get hurt that's all.'
"Ladder 1 command copies Moon. Bruce, how's it looking in there?"

* I reach the 3rd Floor and Jack and Tim start hooking their line up. *
' Guys the last room at the end was the 1 outside that was on fire, Stay back i'll pop the door. '

" Pump-11 to DC, we have fire on the 3rd floor towards the end of the hallway. "

* I walk over to the door, the door is completly hot, I move to the right of the door and take my Halligan and po the lock off the door and with my right hand i push it open, The fire immediatly moves out of the room which is Fully involved and begins to run the ceiling of the hallway now. *

' Jack, Tim over here hit it. '

*I walk away from Mitch and radio out again*
"DC1 Requesting a check up from DFC1, STO and LFO. Any reports guys?"
"Police, what's the scene for you guys?"
"DC1 Pump11, I copy, but you wanna alert Command or COPA, I'm just On scene, I''ve got nothing more than my tablet EAT, so COPA should be primary contact"

'Alright DC can you get the feet end and help us lower her down.'
*Once we get her on the cot, Doug and I get her rolled over to the triage area on the way I get a quick set of vitals. I see the PEMS paramedic standing there waiting for her.*
'Jess don't claw at me either, you know I'm just trying to help you. And I know you don't like ambo's would you like Jaime or one of the other medics to go with you? I'll check with the DC to get it cleared.'

' Widen your guys's stream and hit the ceiling then lets move into the room if we can. '

* I watch as Tim and Jack hit the ceiling then we all kneel down at the entrance to the room which is too hot to enter at this time. *

"Hot but clear most of the windows blew out so there isn't much smoke in here."
*I check the 3rd office door for signs and give it an hard axe swing and bust it in. Then I follow in to the office and see to people one trying to give CPR to the other.*
'Sir ERT:FD I'm a paramedic let me check him out.'

*I reach down and check no pulse no breathing and plenty of blood on the floor*

'Mam I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do for him. I need to get you out of the building. Follow me.'

*I grab the woman and lead her out to the front.*

'Okay mam down there around the corner there is a triage area I need you to walk there so they can check you out and so you can give them information about your friend.'

"Cressler to command we have a DOA 3rd office."

(+1 Green to triage. +1 black in building. Total green=2)

(Who's Green #2, I send one away long ago, once they are at triage, they're off this checklist)

*I look back over at Halls.*
'Uhhh right now, we have one dead, and some injured haha. That's what I could tell you. I just really want to go in there but I gotta mann this ladder. If I don't who....hold on.
*I turn off the deck gun in fear I might hit one of the crew and I call Chris over from his line.*
"Ladder 1 command to Chris Tufts, mann the ladder now. I'll get your line."

*I scratch my neck and the back of my head with my left hand, holding my helmet in the right. I look at the scene in front of me, not a pretty sight...*

*I walk off as Hannahan returns to his job. I walk over to the SEV-2 truck to have look at how they are doing.*

'Hey, andy, I was thinking you know, the civilians, not my people.. I trust they're all sane enough not to melt down at fire and dead people' I say with a chuckle as I look to have scared him coming up behind him

*I check my SCBA and see its half full so I bend down, grab the line, and make my way inside. I stay on the first floor looking for any hotpots or anything that may flare up. I find some fire, actually a big one and I step back and I start spraying.*

*I'm startled by the sound of DC's voice in the midst of all the noise. I turn around and face him, realising it's him I smile.*

'Ah, hehe, I see. Got a bit tactical I guess... Anyhow, it seems we're in control anyway, Hannahan's a bit stressed but what can you do. I'll go over to the end of the street, seems to be a crowd gathered. Maybe I can get a word in there. See you around.'

*I walk down the street, watching the blazing building as I pass. I walk over to a group of people still watching the fire, and start talking to a few of them.*

*I grab the head end of the cot and Doug grabs the other end and we roll back towards the scene.*

*I see the RA crew coming back and I head over to check them out.*
'Hey guys whats up you want to check me out real quick don't make it to bad I got more people to save.'
*I take off my SCBA and leave it next to the truck and step into the back*

* I notice Jack and Tim knocking the fire back into the room and it is now able to move into, the three of us move into the room and i begin turning over chairs and knocking things out of the way to get the fire that may be under them.

' Tim, Jack over here get this quick. '

* I point to a Hot water Furnace that loks like something out of the 1950's *

' If this goes its gonna be probably a 300 lb Missle. '

* They quickly put the line directly on it and I take my halligan and quickly tip it over and away from the fire. *

'Understood. SIR, IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, MOVE TOWARDS THE BUILDING. THERE'S A TRIAGE AREA NEARBY.'

**The man gets up and walks towards the triage area. His makeshift bandage is actually doing a reasonably good job, and he might be able to put off medical attention for a while. Overhead, two news helicopters are circling. I turn on the radio again.**

Radio: 'This is BBC World Radio broadcasting in the United Kingdom and around the world. Right now, we are following developments in the Phoxlind Stock Exchange Bombing. We have not received any word on casualties, but the US Department of Homeland Security tells us that there is a concern for more explosions in the city. As a precaution, flights at Phoxlind's airport are being delayed and passengers are receiving additional searches.'

**I decide to leave the radio on, but I put it on low sound and turn up the volume on the communications radio.**

*I get a quick set of vitals on Moon and check his gear. I see nothing wrong with his gear but his B/P's a little high, about 170/90.*
'Moon grab a bottle of water and sit down for a few I think you're just a little bit stressed but you're B/P's high.'

"Beard, check in now please, Command to BEARD"
(Note, please put a helluva lotta action in there and then acknowledge my call beard, have you special order the reason you didn't answer before, you were too busy)

(Also, don't go too fast, We've still got a lot of stuff, Triage needs a lot more people then it has, no way that a bomb explodes and hurts no one.. I'll have the next order after beard's issued tomorrow, so don't fly through it)

'Eh crap I knew I shouldn't of came over here.'
*I grab a bottle and try to relax so he can clear me to go be a hero again. I say with a laugh*
'Oh it's good to have humor in times like this'

(don't worry there is still 7 more offices to check i was trying not to overload triage all at once)

(I'm gonna go watch TV, I'll be back in an hour and a half, don't blow through this, I've still gotta die.. I mean, totally not referencing my second post and the dramatic irony )

*I walk up to the three officers huddling to nose in on what they're doing*

"RA1 to Command, we have Moon over here for rehab, evaluation reviled minor issue. We're correcting now, we'll notify when he's able to get back to work."
'I'll check you again in about 15. Just lay back on the bench and turn the air on.'

*I grab a pack of water bottles and bring them from the triage center and walk over McEvoy*
'Chief want a water?'

*I recheck Moon's vitals and his B/P is slowly coming down. 155/85.*
'Alright Moon, about 15 more minutes and you might be able to go back to work, oh and I hear that they're sending Jess back to work.'

'Sounds good glad she's okay sorta wouldn't mind getting hurt so I can go see jamie.'

"RA1 to Command, send Jess over to the RA for her gear, it ended up in out RIT bag."
*I turn to Moon.*
'I don't think you want to see Jamie, Moon. After last night I think she's ready to murder you.'

'Are you getting she loves me she's just afraid to admit it. She likes to play hard to get.'
*I see jess coming over.*
'Hey whats up girl.'

'Not Much. Gotta stay out of the interior for the rest of the call though. Probably just gotta relax in the triage area or sometihng. Just braught a pack of water bottles to see if anyone wants any'

*I manuver the line to the left. I open the bale.* There we go."

*I switch the nozzle to a straight stream and sweep it side to side.*

**I repeat my evacuation message. The radio continues to broadcast information about the emergency.**

Radio: '...we are also getting word that the New York Stock Exchange is ending its trading day early because of threats against the building. It's not known if this is merely a copycat call, but the New York City Police are not taking chances. Back in Phoxlind, a triage center has been set up not far from the explosion. On the phone with us is counterterrorism expert...'

**Hopefully, there won't be more explosions, but the fires have to be put out and the victims have to be rescued before we can look for explosives.**

*I turn around and see Jess coming over.*
'HEY DOUG, GRAB JESS'S GEAR FROM THE SIDE COMPARTMENT.'
*I yell so he can hear me up front.*
'Jess, sorry 'bout the collar but you know we had to do it to help you. I got some powder over here we can put on your neck to help with the irritation from the collar.'
(Jamie the new Female Medic, not you.)

'Yeah if cory here would clear me I could go play superhero again. and start kicking in some doors.'

'Moon, clam down and your B/P would be fine, but if you stay all worked up and your hormones keep flowing all your blood down there, you aren't gonna get back to work any time soon.'
*Doug comes around with Jess' gear.*
'There you are, Jess. If you want you can stay with us and help with rehab. You have your EMT right?'

'Haha just give me a knife I'll get my BP down but I might end up in triage and okay I'll have to wait to think about jamie till after then. Why do I figure this is going to be a long day and where not near done.'

'Yeah Cory I have EMT. And just so you know, nothing against you, but if I had the collar I'd hit you with it haha'

*I put my jacket back on take another water and start to drink it*

'Alright give me your arm again. Hopefully we can get you out of our hair and back in to Garcia's.'
*B/p in mildly elevated but with in normal limits, 135/84.*

"RA1 to STO and command Moon is fully rehabed cleared for normal duty."
*I keep the radio mic to my mouth like I'm on it, but release the PTT,*

*i hear the radio trafic and hear that my girl friend has been injured*
'god i hope shes ok, but i gotta pull together'*i say to my self*
*i open up the mens bathroom and start my search*
"L1 HRES to DC 1 I am doing fine ima finish this room then come out a swap bottles"

"Cressler to Command getting a new bottle and heading back into to search more offices."
*I undo my SCBA tank and I replace it with a fresh one and head back into building and up to the second floor with my axe and get ready to check the 4th office.*

"6 arriving."

*I get out, seeing a huge cluster fu**, but an organized one. I walk up to Linda and Jackson*

'Ok, what we got so far? I see the building been evacuated.'

(Jess isn't going back in)
'Jess, stay outside for now, if you even think about lifting or entering, you're going back to the hospital in an ambulance, that's final'

"Patrol, OIC, I want you to run ops for our patrol officers, work with ledger and allot his men too please"

*as i make my way into the bath room i see a dead person in a ski mask and i assume him to be one of the terrorist*

*I move in and open the larger stall at the end of the bathroom and see what looks to be a large block of C4 and timer on it*

* I start Pushing people back, personnel and civil, no one is being near here, I watch as firefighters come out.*

'Libor, an shrapnel and incendiary device went off inside of the stock exchange. There's probably going to be more explosions, but there's no telling at this point in time.'

**I announce the evacuation order again. The radio continues to broadcast about the emergency.**

Radio: '...a statement from the UK Foreign Ministry reading, "We strongly condemn all acts of terrorism and support those who protect civilians every day. Our thoughts are with those in Phoxlind." The President of the United States has already been briefed on this incident and is cancelling a scheduled meeting with the leader of the AFL-CIO union. We do not yet know if or when he will address the nation and, indeed, the world. In the meantime, the casualty count is still unclear; neither the Phoxlind City EMS nor the Emergency Response Team has given a statement to the press.'

**I hear HRES's warning and broadcast this message:**

'IMMINENT DANGER. EVACUATE NOW. EVACUATE NOW. DO NOT STAY NEAR THE EXCHANGE BUILDING.'

"Botfish to someone, can I please have an update on what happened since I left?"

"We've got a secondary bomb inside, we're all moving back, get back now. Its being diffused"
*I grab Jess's arm and pull her back to the other side of the road*

"6 to SUP 1, copy?"

*I get in my squad and hit the warbler for 5 secs, getting a lot of attention then over the PA:*

'This is ERT Police, please evacuate from the surrounding area, please move as far as possible from the building.'

"6 to all police personel, get people as far away as possible from the surounding area."
