Bomb Threats in Phoxlind

"RA1 to Command moving to the other side of the street, can we get a PAR for all units."
*I hop in the driver's seat as Doug jumps in back with. I get out of the staging area and head to the other side of the street. I park us over by the area that Bruke is moving people towards. I hope this is far enough I think.*
"RA1 in postion away from the structure."
"RA1 to DC1 we could use an extra hand for rehab, can we steal Jess?"

*Even after hearing Burke's command, I bring Jess's gear up just for convenience.*

'Here you go.'

*I look up at the building, I hear the message about an additional explosive found.*

*I head back to our truck*
"Can I please have an update"

"Update for all units, be advised, possible explosive found. Manditory evacuation for ALL units to across the street unless told by commanding officers other wise."

"RA1 RIT to all TO's Can I get a PAR please?"

*Oh Sh&% I think as I hear the transmission. I drop my axe and sprint towards the window where L1 put the egress ladder then i head over to the other side of the street.*
"Cressler to Command all units cleared from inside minus bruce. BREAK Bruce if you need me call I got your back I saw my share of explosives in Iraq."
*I take off my mask and stop the air flow.*

*I turn to Burke*
'Wasn't planning on going inside...didn't want to actually. I'm happy out here with triage and rehab and handing out water bottles. heh'
*I fix my jacket pulling hte collar out but I leave it unclipped since I'm outside and place my helmet on my head*

"L1 HRES to DC 1 it is a Shocker i am in the process of defusing it now"
*i pull the timer out and carefully follow the wire back to one of the detinators i grab the snips out of my turn out pocket and cut the main wire that connects the timer to the C4*
'alright, now just gotta take care of these detinators'*i say to my self*
*i trace the wire back to one of the detinators and carefully pull it out of the block of C4. then i pull the second detinator out of the other side of the C4 block*
"L1 HRES to DC 1 the bomb has been defused where do you want me to take it to?"
*i stand up and turn around carefully carrying the C4*

" Pump-11 to Command we are on the 3rd floor coming down now. "

' Guys drop ur lines Dont disconnect and just get the hell out of the building. '

* I drop my line, Jack Tim and I start Running for the stairs, on the way down we see Austin and Casey running downt he stairs as well. we all finally make it out of the building and run over to the truck. *

"Units, bomb is diffused. Beard, get to the third floor window with the ladder and get it down, I'll have the HTT down in 2 minutes. We'll get rid of it there"

"The area is clear for continued operation, be advised, mark one more black to the count, self inflicted GSW, possible attacker of the other GSW victim"

*i move twords the ladder posstioned out the window and climb down with the bomb still in my hands*
'Hey! can someone grab me a new bottle while i take care of this?'

"Attention units: use caution. There may still be more explosives in the building."

**The radio continues its broadcast.**

Radio: 'We've been seeing a lot of activity in the Stock Exchange building; apparently, there is a second device inside of the building that's in the process of being defused. Just to recap on what's been happening, an incendiary bomb was detonated in the Phoxlind Stock Exchange building, killing and wounding an as-of-yet unknown number of people. It now seems that a second device was located in the building. And...we are just now getting word that the second device has been defused and is being removed. We will bring more information as it comes in.'

*I go back to my hose and srt spraying down the building*
"How's it looking in there bruce?"

"Cressler copies heading back in to finally search the 4th office."
*I put my mask back on. and head back up to the 2nd floor where I find my axe outside door number 4. I think to myself this is like a bad game of the price is right.*

"RA1 copis returning to area. BREAK to DC1 is Jess cleared to assist us with rehab?"
'Alright sounds like its under control, but I have a bad feeling about this run.'
*I drive us back to the spot behind L1. We reopen for business.*
((DC check your PM box in a few.))

"Yes, Jess can do Rehab, I'm gonna let the cops do a full check around now"

*I walk back over to the abandoned Command post at DCF1/S1C*

"RA1 to Jess, come on over and join us at the RA."

*I walk over to the RA and take another sip of the water bottle*
'Well...atleast I get to use my EMT skills how huh haha'

*I run out and walk across the street but after hearing I'm clear to go back, I walk back and then grab my SCBA and continue spraying the fire.*
'Damn terrorists' I say to myself whilst spraying side to side in a sweeping motion.*
"Chris, get that ladder up."

((Woah...I'm lost. So are we currently searching/supressing with you guys or are we at triage? I kinda got lost in the 7 pages...))

*I sweep side to side as the fire slowly goes down. I wish it would go down quicker but it won't unless someone is with me but I keep at it.*

*i stand off to the side and wait for the HTT truck to get here*

((I wonder if I HRES certified yet...))
*I grab my SCBA, but on my jacket, helmet, and SCBA, and head over to the side of the truck. I pull and charge and crosslay and walk towards the building.*

" Pump-11 Command to Pump-11 Crew and Sev 2 Lets go back inside and continue on the 3rd floor, make sure your tanks are topped off and you have a bottle of water. "

* I grab another full bottle of air from the Pumper and attach it to my tank, strap the tank on my back and walk over to the guys. *

' you guys ready?

*I line up on the left of office 4 and check for sign of fire. I can't see any sign so I take a swing with my axe and knock the door in where I see a man trapped under a desk*
'Hi sir ERT:FD Medic I'm going to get you out of here. Where is your pain.'

Man: 'It's just in my leg.'

'Okay sounds good i'm going to lift this desk out and get you out to triage..'

* I lift the desk off the man and start to help him up.*

"Cressler to RA1 I'm going to be bringing a man out to you a possible broken leg. He's going to need a stretcher to get him to triage."

*I hand here a c-collar, expecting to get hit.*

"Firefighters, remember that last call, if you haven't done rehab, now is the time, direct order, I'm sure COPA agress with me, DC over"

*I walk over to rehab and see my sister walking around*
'You just don't give up do you? who's checking me out?'

* I hear Cory's Transmition. *

' Crap before we go back in lets ALL go to rehab and get checked. '

" Pump-11 to RA-1 I have Myself, Galligano, Van Der Water, Anders, Botfish and Matthews coming for rehab, prepare to receive please. "

"L1 HRES to DC 1 whats the ETA of the HTT truck?"

'Come on over here Mike, I'll check you over.'
*I get a quick set of vitals and every thing is within normal limits.*
'Ok you go to go, gatorade or water. Just take it easy I don't want any cardiac's here.'
*I hear P11 calling me.*
"RA1 copies P11, be advised, may be a wait, as we have an emergency that will need transport via cot to triage."

*I look up the road,*
"It's just up the road, should be pulling in now, HITB will take it off your hands as the big guy can't get too close"

*the HITB guy walks up and takes the bomb frome me*
"L1 HRES im going over to rehab"

*I see the crew of P11 coming.*

'HA! You know me like the back of your hand don't ya Jess.'
*I take the gatorade from her that she brings me*
'My favorite kind too.'

*I get under the guys arm and start to help him out and down the stairs.*
'Listen man this is going to hurt. I'm sorry but were going to get you to safety at least then they'll give you some pain meds.'
*I help him out the front lobby doors and over to the RA.*
'Okay guys he is yours now I found him under a desk possible broken leg. Make sure you add him to the triage list I gotta go back in.'

(Hey, we could use some vics at triage, find some yellows and reds.)

"Davis to RA1, I'm just going in now I'll probably visit you guys in about...ehh..20 minutes."
*I pick up my line and walk into the building. Then I look for the other crews. I find a couple guys from the ladder.*
'Hey, did you guys finish SAR yet? If not, let's finish it up real quick.'

"L1 HRES to rehab. im heading over to yall now."
*i walk over to the RA.*
'Hey guys'

*I walk over to Bruce*
'Hey Bruce. you Ok?'

'im fine, your the one im worried about. How are you feeling?'

(Davis, you're still an SAR spot, but with HRES training, so you don't get the tools or to go alone)
*I start walking around the building looking incase we missed anyone, I can't set foot inside, but I might as well look all around*

'I'm feeling ok. Just a bit sore. I'm doing rehab for the rest of the call then I should be able to get back on regular duty I hope. I heard you defused a bomb. Good job. hop up I'll check ya out if it's ok with you cory'

*I keep walking futhur into the building with my SCBA on and my line poised to spray any fire I see. I walk through some rooms on the 2nd floor. Then I head upstairs to the 3rd where the smoke starts to get thicker.*

*I take a set of vitals on Bruce and everything looks normal*
'Looks good Bruce. Want gatorade or water?'

'ill take a gatorade. thanks hun'
