((Damn. I missed a lot. I'm sorry guys, I was away for Thanksgiving and there have just been personal things going on recently. FD, I appreciate you guys doing the majority of triage since my last post, sorry again guys))

'Alright, yeah, let's start transporting. Most serious go first. Any fire paramedics, I'm going to need your help with transporting the serious ones in the BLS rig.'

"BLS-1 to COPA, all have been accounted for and are in EMS c are at triage, we will be beginning transport shortly."

    "Copy that EMS Command"

((For the purposes of this training, the victims will be brought to the Cougar station for yellow and green, and the lesser of the reds. Anyone dying will be brought to the Foxtrot terminal. Just like real calls, in a traige, the ERT hospital as well as City hospital would be used, ERT being designated for the most serious))

Once triage has cleared, Fire can pack up, secure the scene and return to quarters after an on scene debreif from the OSC.

I walk around the Ladder making sure everything is picked up and in its place, opening compartments and checking the pump. I then walk to the Pumper to help haul in the hose.

*I look around the scene and think if this was real it would have been mass confusion and am glad we had the chance to drill it before it can happen. I look around and see everyone getting in the trucks I walk to the ladder only to remember I drove my Chevy Colorado. I walk to my truck take off my jacket and put it on my seat as I climb in and turn on the ignition and wait to follow the Ladder, Squad, and pumper back to base for debreif. I noticed 2 problems, both with myself.
    1. I established EMS command and started triage and everything, and then I wasn't here for half the call.

    2. As I read back at my posts, I seemed to have taken more of an administrative (I was setting up, getting information about the flight, keeping track of people at triage, etc) side to triage than a treatment side. I think that it is important somebody does take the admin side, but have an even balance with treatment.

That's all I really noticed from the EMS side.

*I put the truck in drive and follow ladder 1 to the terminal. I roll down the window and honk the horn as we leave the scene. As the wind blows onto me, I turn off my lights and turn into the parking zone for the old terminal. I park behind Ladder 1 and park it almost perfectly. I turn off the pumper and put the parking brake on. I get out, open a compartment and take out the chocks, putting them under the rear wheel. Looking at the parking space, I see I need work on my parking (lol). I walk into the terminal, and sit next to Davis.*
    'Hey Davis, you hungry?'
*I get some food and start eating.*
'Dang that is good. That Salvation Army really knows how to cook!'
*I finish my plate up and walk to the garbage.*
'Ugghhhh, I'm too full. See you at the station Davis!'
*I go to the pumper, and wait until everyone else gets to eat fallin asleep while waiting.*

((Forgot my password for a while))

"Good work out there, just a few little things, like telling the engine where to go, no supply lines yet trying to fight a fire, and maybe some following orders issues. Anyways, good work on that, just watch a few things, remember 1 person pulls 1 crosslay, if a hydrant's spotted, let the engine drive to it, then do connections and lay line, and watch the resource management. Help out the commanders, but remember, we're still in charge."

"Another thing to remember, is that in an airline crash, especially if this is at an airport, ARFF will handle most of the fire extinguishing, and there will probably be no hydrants nearby. ARFF will have a Foam tanker and a water tanker, but neither will be able to supply a constant line as heavy as a hydrant would. The only fire fighting you guys would be up to in a scene like this would be surrounding area, the ARFF would have to tackle the plane and unless told otherwise (I think the pumper does have foam capabilites) you guys would have to just stay away."

(Pumper and truck should have foam capabilities, depending on the airport layout, there may be hydrants, depending on the area, so maybe if we sketch one out or something so we know what we're working with on the ground? idk, just an idea. Distance from terminal is a big thing. I didn't get the chance to make the orders, they were already put into place by Ewan at that point, so it was a little bit hard to change around the resources.)

*I see Davis and the others jogging to get into their respective trucks. I get into my truck, close my door and turn on the truck and immediately turn on the heat. After everyone gets into their trucks, I put the pumper out of park and follow Squad 1 out of the airport and onto the street.*
"Pumper 11 returning to station ready for callout."
*I slow down as I get to an intersection and turn up the ERT radio. I look both ways then ease onto the accelerator. I get to the ERT complex and see some TEC guys working on the still messed up gate.*
'Feel bad for them in this weather.'
*I go a little farther than Squad 1 and and stop. I back up into the bay and roll the doors down.*
