*I slowly turn the hydrant wrench until it's on 18 revolutions.*
'Alright Lt., you should have full water.'
*I run back to the Pumper then another supply line on the side of the Pump panel and hook it up to the Pump then the Ladder. I then turn on the pump and make sure Ladder 1 is getting some water.*
'Alright Ladder 1, you should be getting more pressure now.'
*I run back to my crosslay then bend down and shoot the closest burning tree.*
'Casey, your up. Can you make sure it doesn't get too close to me (the spraying water)? Shoot it towards the back.'

"Squad, go ahead and assist us, truck, if you need a supply, pull it to us. There's already ARFF working on suppression, so just assist, all paramedics will assist with injured passengers. Everyone else, fire suppression is your job.
Engine, get monitors going, and maybe some exposure loops and just spray it down out there.
Squad, same with the exposure loops.
Truck, probably pull lines and use the ladder to bring down passengers who can't walk. Call for medics for anything more than minor."

'Hey Ridgdeback. Fire advised me they are starting to send walkers over. Now that we have 2 EMS units here, we'll start to get some of the immobile victims. I also see if Fire has anybody to assist with that'

*Matthews and a vic walks over. The victim doesn't looks bad, shaken up more than anything. The man advises that his chief complaint is chest pain. He tells me he made contact with the seat in front of him, so he may just be bruised. I give him a yellow tag and send him over to the appropriate area.*

    'Ridgeback!"

*I nod to the man I just talked to*

'Chest Pains. Made contact with the seat in front of him. Which means he may not have been wearing his seatbelt.'

*I press the button on the extension mic.*

    ((FIRE))
"Triage command to Fire Command. Do you have one or two extra guys that could help us? and keep sending the walkers over, we have a second EMS crew on scene."

    ((COPA))
"Triage command to COPA, I need you to check with airline and tell me how many souls checked into and boarded that flight, both passengers and crew. If you can, forward a roster for the flight to the EAT terminal."

*I walk over to BLS-1, take the EAT laptop off of it's base, carry it into triage, and place it on a table. THan, I lead more victims to triage*

    "Rodger that BLS-1"

**I log onto the airline database and look up the flight list for the crashed airplane, with my ERT COPA privileges**

"COPA to BLS-1, accordingly to the fight list there was 129 passengers and 9 crew"

'OK, I'll help with triage if able. I'll ask the Lt.'

"Garcia, this is Davis, all fires are contained in the trees and I was wondering if you wanted me to start triage."

    "10-4, 129 passengers, 9 crew. Thanks."

*I get a whiteboard out of the triage box, quickly make 4 columns: Red, Yellow, Green, and Black. While the rest of BLS-1 and ALS-1 are treating victims, I count the tags from each color, and put a tally mark in the correct column, then write 138 at the bottom to remind me of the total. Then return to the rest of the crew to assist with treatment*

    |___BLACK___|___RED___|___YELLOW___|___GREEN___|
    |____________|___/______|___/////______|____/////___|
    TOTAL: 50

((No, 138 50 is the number of people that checked into the flight. The tally marks I put under the colors add up to the number of victims. As of the last post we have 11 at triage.))

*as i step on the plane i say*
'all those who can walk i need you to make your way to the ladder and my partner will help you down and then show you to the ambulance.'
*i see a large number of people making there way to the front*
'single file people! please keep order!'
*i walk to the back of the plane and start taging people with triage tags for EMS*
"ladder to BLS 1 im sending a large quantity of people out to you they are all taged as green, i am starting to tag the others now"

((Be advised, I just read the original dispatch again it said there as an estimate of 50 people onboard, I changed my above post to that.))

"10-4 ladder, I have them in sight."

*A group of 20+ people are walking over. A few of them file into the triage area, I count them in my head as a treat some of them. When I go back to the whiteboard, I see one of them collapse about 25 feet away.*

    'C'mon Putter, let's get him.'

*I quickly throw the jumpbag over my shoulder, and pull the stretcher down the taxiway to the collapsed person.*

'Everybody keep going. Somebody will take care of you at triage. Keep moving.' I say as a walk past the group.

*I lower the stretcher next to the man, and put the jumpbag down.*

'What happened, man?' I ask him

'I don't know if I hit my leg or something, but I was just limping over here, and my left leg gave out.' He tells me

'Alright, any injuries from the fall? Particularly to the neck, back, or head?'

'No, no, nothing. I tried to catch and slow down my fall with my hands.'

'Okay, well we'll put you on the stretcher and bring you over to triage, alright?'

*On teh count of three, me and Putter put the man on the stretcher, we strap him in, then raise the stretcher. I put the jumpbag around my shoulder, then roll the stretcher over to triage.*

I grab a portable and shove it into my pocket before I get out of the pumper. I mask up and grab a line. I can go where ever Lou wants me.
