yeah we had a gas drillin rig explosion on the other side of the city a couple weeks ago

3 workers were injured...I worked on these sites for about a month as a security guard whenever anyone parked on the site the parked facing out so you could jump in and take off....we were trained in the event of an explosion....run.....don't worry about calling the FD someone will see it and call before you get a chance just run

yeah you can't really fight a fire that burns this hot you pretty much just set up a hose and try to spray it but it turns to steam before you even hit the fire so basically you just stand around and wait for it to die

The whole class in computers today we were watching videos abou that on CNN.com. It was terrible! The water was just...black and full of crap. I can't imagine what those people are going through and I feel so sorry for them...

They might work, but will continue their life of crime.

Oh, sure, let's lay off hundreds of cops and firefighters, then lets spending money on giving drug addicted murderers jobs.

Meh I don't totally agree with out IF the city has money thats the big IF i would never support it if they didn't have enough money to do it but if you have spare money I'm for it because a lot of time criminals are criminals because thats where they came from they know no other way and they don't really have a way out of that situation.

and of course one of my stipulations would be mandatory random drug testing which they do at most jobs anyway

Yeah. It all depends on the city. I guess if they want the criminals to have jobs, then watevs. I've seen them do community service, but not actual paid jobs. Anyway, did you guys here about the nuclear power plant radiation leaks? That's why you don't build those near the ocean...

Davis, it's not leaked severely, since it's near the Ocean, they're using the water to cool down the reactor, Japan will have it covered, they're some of the best at that stuff.

I said the signal not what do you do if your on it lol you can't hop onto a moving train not to mention why woudln't there be someone on it....

Yeah, these guys are having paying jobs, not community service.

These paid jobs will make no difference, there will still be crime. Maybe some will try to turn their life around with that job, but most were raised on the street, and that's the only way they know, so they either won't show up, or they'll work but continue their life of crime.

It makes no sense that they just laid off the people that keep the city safe, then they willingly spend money on giving jobs to criminals. It just makes no sense.


Anyway, had a Devils game tonight, Devils vs. Islanders, very fun. We won 3-2 in overtime. I had some really annoying Islanders fans behind me. Had a very minor verbal altercation with them, security made sure it didn't escalate (not that it would have, I'll argue with people but not fight them). But after we tied the Islander 2-2, they were quiet, then when we won in overtime, I they left before anybody else, and I followed them (I like to leave before other people too), and just to keep up the image of that A-Hole that I am, I told them "What happened guys? Oh well, go back home to New York and cry about it" (Because every time the devils scored they were like 'oh, what a BS goal'). They gave me a middle finger, and I just laughed at them.

Such a fun game.

(I love NY but sometimes I hate New Yorkers. I love the way they talk but hate the way they act haha. Good thing i'm not a fan. :wink: :wink:

have you ever seen that show conviction kitchen? they give ex cons jobs and some of them really listen you know and take the advice and start a new life of course there are always going to be those few that can't

That place is ghetto-tized now, just like the town next to me. Anyway, some good news: the 8th grade girls backetball team at my school won the championship game! They were down like 11-3 and they came back with a few 3's and won 16-22.

I somehow got 83 page impressions on my blog which is sort impressive i'm sure about 10 are from me but 73 is still pretty cool

Nice. My school was amazing with stuff this year. We've always had a great lacrosse team, but thye got into the finals, as with our hockey team, the marching band that was formed this year ended up second in the state. Our football team was the State Champions. It was a good year.

My track team was WPIAl AA champions last year


that stands for western PA athletic...league I think...haha it covers like the south west half of the state which is a lot of school



EDIT:We had 8 Section titles and 7 Undefeated teams and 4 trips to wpial championships and 1 visit to states with our volleyball team last year

Did anyone hear about theat crazy bus accident on the I-95 near bay plaza and Co-op city? That's about 3-4 blocks from where I live! I know 66engine and 61truck were first due and it probably was a huge triage moment too. 14 people died sadly since the bus pretty much ripped in half! The driver is still alive so he's going to jail. Look it up on CNN.
