Holy crap...it is crazy out here...snow everywhere! (And wind too...a lot of it...) Everything's closed, biggest storm since 1967 they say...

Those of us here in New Jersey got our share of snow, so now we just get the wintry cr*p New Jersey usually gets. Ice, freezing rain, some snow, and lots of slush...

Aww... I hate that...it's all wind and snow now...quickly accumulating, the plows came by 5 hours ago here, no school tomorrow already.

were all hopeing for one..were getting the beginning of it now..some stuff is closed so far

I'd take the snow over the 3 inches of rain that has fallen in the past 6 hours, I've had about 16 runs today already, 10 of those were weather related.

lol, if it was possible, I'd gladly give you the snow if you gave us the rain. Is it at least warm wear you are or is it a cold rain?

Sounds like some stuff will freeze over. What's crazy is I almost slipped going down the stairs in front of my house since I didn't see the ice. The craziest part is that it was only raining yesterday night haha.

All I know is 3 things:

1. I officially hate winter.

2. If the ice storm causes a power outage I will be very mad, because that will leave me with nothing to do but sleep and listen to all of the car accidents and burglar/fire alarms as a result of the outage on my scanner.

3. I cannot wait until I go to California for vacation in 2 months.

Im at work right now, but if its bad enough we'll get held over and the other crew will be told not to come in.

Yeah, that might be safer for everybody though in the end.


By the way, I didn't know this was possible, but on my PC, I just sent the Recycle bin to the recycle bin, and now I can't find it at all... Anybody know how to get it back? lol I don't want to shut down my computer because I'm afraid it won't start again without the recycle bin.

I've never heard of that! lol. Uhhh.. the only thing I remember to do is resore your computer to a previous date like yesterday or whenever I guess.

haha I was sitting at home and heard it come across I almost pissed my pants laughing.
Thats another thing my station like to do were right at the corner of like 4 differet counties so when we respond to other counties we'll mess with the dispatchers and use lingo from the other conties and they have nooo clue what were talking about.

/that's freakin awesome! I wish my countie was that....dismissing for stuff lie that. Once some guys in an engine down here finished a call and after they reported Engine ___ returning to station, something messed up with the mic and all of the stations heard what the guys were saying XDXD!!! They were talking crap about the dispatchers too and about (I think) 4-5 minutes later you could hear them talking them you heard a click....then complete silence. Basically, the dispatchers locked the frequency so Nobody could hear and I think the firefighters then learned what they did wrong haha. I wish I heard that conversation.

Haha...but laugh at this; there are 2 feet of snow on the ground, bulldozers are clearing the roads, and I'm stuck with a shovel! We don't have a snowblower; it broke years ago and we never needed another as we never get snow like this, so I'm in trouble now! Well on the brightside, there's no school today!

No, it was completely gone. I had no clue it was even possible, but I was able to restore the computer to how it was 2 weeks ago.

Yea, it just stopped snowing here, Its mostly ice, and temperatures are suppose to drop to -25 wind chill tonight.

haha the one time we were pulling the ambulance back in the station and we responded with armstrong setenta y dos en la estación which in english is 72 in station...they responded with...uh okay..

most of the time they dont really play along since they actually have a paying job and bosses that watch them.
though we confuse them alot and they have to ask us to repeat stuff or they just say okay but in the tone that you say okay when you have nooo clue what someone just said.

Wow haha. Like school is my job...I take it seriously now, I get straight A's and don't get in trouble a lot. It's really funny because all the girls go crazy when they get a higher grade than me on a test or seomthing. 'OMG, I got a higher grade than Jarred! YEAH!' Then they rub it in my face for the rest of the day.

Because, I was driving on the highway today, in the slow lane because I was taking it easy, when some STUPID. MINDLESS, CARELESS, UNINTELLIGENT F*ck ASSHOLE couldn't take 2 F*ck minutes out of his morning to clean the ice off the top of his car. Well, this complete retard blew past me, and all of the ice on this F*ck DUMBASS's roof, all fell off, flew into my windshield, and completely shattered it. This could have killed me, luckily, it didn't, but that doesn't change the fact that I have to pay for a new F*ck windshield because some asshole was too lazy, unintelligent and and overall retarded to clean off his roof.


So those of you who can drive, don't be a complete asshole of a retard, and please clean off your roof. Its two minutes or less out of your morning.

I've seen whole chunks of snow fall off of people's roof since they dind't want to do it. Stupid people man.. can't deal with em. At least your alright. Did anyone catch him?

I don't know this asshole was too ignorant to stop and help me, and I know he saw it happen. His brake lights went on right away when it hit me. Do you think that means this guy could get an evading an accident scene charge if they catch him?

Anyway, I remember the make and model, and the first three digits of the plates and gave it to the cops so hopefully somebody got that dumbass. It can be fixed tonight though, and I've calmed down a bit (you've probably noticed a drastic decrease of cursing and insults compared to my last post, lol).
