Just wondering was/is anyone here in the military?

No, but I have some relatives that have served. I may go in to Naval Architecture however.

Im going into the United States Marine Corps this fall

I know that Bruce, you're crazy....... I am looking at Air Force its looks cool, not to mention their soldiers are treated the best out of the 5 branches

My dad wants me to be a SEAL. How good is the Navy? Or would Air Force be better...?

I like air force better and the chance of being a seal is very slim... Air Force Security Forces is really cool though

I didn't say I was accepting recruits or anything, just a general consensus. If that failed, and I needed another job, I could always list it as military service. Retired Commander General. Looks nice on previous job experience

I'm sure its hard to try however if you try to take over a small nation build a military promise them whatever as long as they help and keep doing this it'd be easier to accomplish.

See, governments can only get people into the high ranks that I let in. That's the thing, the KGB was easy to infiltrate, as all you had to do was enlist and work your way up, if I was going to create a world domination force, I would do so in a way that would have only the most trusted individuals at the top, and in a way so that no one individual could over throw the group.
I studied political theory, social theory, and military theory in amongst some psychology, so I came up with this one day in a class

well actually I believe in quality over quantity. I will place a limit of 1000 trained, well accessed members, I will allow millions to join the outer ranks of protection detail, in which they fend off warriors attacking, and protect my well being, while at the same time, having zero access to anything that may harm it. I will also provide a bonus to anyone who disables/kills someone intending to cause harm to our military

Well as a plundering army, we plunder. You don't pay taxes on things you don't buy.

Just do under the table deals with the US and they will "do all they can to stop you" while you somehow prosper.

yea true, however if people find out i have been running the world without them knowing who knows what they'd do thats why I would move to a remote island fully secure it with my own military and government officials have air defense weapons, f-16 fighter jets etc.. Have boats 360 degrees around the island and yea not let anyone outside of my circle know where I am or who I am.

I think a simple secured location, no fly. Period works. Have a 360degree 100 foot wall, with turrets mounted on top, followed by another fifty foot wall, both completely smooth, would be good for protection. Only let closely trusted individuals in. Keep them happy, and all will be well. Those outside guarding, well they don't get it. Grow your own stuff, and offer the loyalty bonus to those who kill and disable any potential threats. You'll do fine. That's if you wanna be a douchebag of a leader though

hahahaha I like my idea better. Having a giant wall is to secluding and boring. I would have my own motorcade like every head of government

The wall is just to keep the infidels off of my lawn.. I would leave yes, but I want a nice lawn. The extra fifty feet so in the event of a seige, assuming they get to the gattling guns, they then have to destroy a fifty foot wall to shoot at my lawn
