Re: Random Hang Out Topic
I have the funniest story to tell about today...
So, we're at my friend's house, who has like a lot of land and a big open field, and we're launching fireworks out of freakin piece of pipe. It explodes and hits the ground. A few minutes later, we're in this trailer thing in our paintball course, and I look up over the side and literally scream, "HOLY S***!" The field was on fire. All of my friends and I jump out and run over and start stomping on it. After awhile, it went out. My friend's dad came walking over and started laughing. He was like, "Let's not burn the whole field down guys, haha." He's funny and he didn't really seem to care at all...

Re: Random Hang Out Topic
There are some morons in this world. Some one just pulled over an unmarked police car. No i'm not a brain surgeon, but when your driving behind a Crown Vic that has more than two antennas and it says Public Property on the license plate it might be a police car. No matter what we are just way to patient with stupid anymore.

Re: Random Hang Out Topic
I watched someone pull over an ambulance... which was clearly treating someone... Well I think... It went like this, SUV dricing along, Ambulance pulls it over, driver gets out and walks up to SUV driver... Police car proceeds to park behind ambulance get out and talk to ambulance passenger, in traffic stop format. :S

Oh, once the blue neon light came on the cop flipped his lights on and walked back to them. haha. Dang, I saw once where an ambulance was returning to quaters and some guy was driving drunk. So they turned on their lights and he pulled over, so they waited for the PD to get there.

Some police cars down here can be confused with regular ones like some are toyota camry's haha. It literally more than 10 lights on it for sure. In the grille, it was going like two different patterns every 3 seconds.

Re: Random Hang Out Topic
Yeah, my father has a unmarked charger. All he has is a dual headed front dash led light and a single head rear deck led light, and front and rear wig-wags, and about 4 antennas. Most people around here figure if it has more than 2 antennas its probably L.E. Then again one of our main problem here is Hot Springs is a tourist place. So most of our problems come from tourists. They can't drive, for example a van was driving in the middle of two lanes yesterday and one of Lifenet's ambulances were trying to get by and couldn't.

Same with down here. People won't move. We had to actually stop at a light behind some other cars and turn the siren off. We were on a chest pains call.

Re: Random Hang Out Topic
I feel ya on that one. I was riding in my dads old car one day. He used to have a silver impala older model. It had a spot light and two 2-headed whelen strobes on the rear deck. Well it was sunny and those strobes are very small and can be seen pretty well. So while were sitting at a redlight the car behind us honks their horn, so my dad is like me and a very big smartass. He was like do it again I dare you, sure enough they did it again so he flipped on his blue lights and walked back there. At first they wouldn't roll down their window, finally they did. And said oh we saw the lights but since your not in uniform you can't do anything. Needless to say they got a ticket and an education that CID investigators with the ASP don't wear uniforms.

Re: Random Hang Out Topic
Wow, stupid people do stupid things. I was driving home one time, and people don't pull over, much less stop! Busiest intersection in town, and a cop is enroute to a medical right down the street. He pulled up to the intersection with that really fast siren and the cop car horn, and people still didn't stop. He changed his siren like 4 times until he got through. Everyone just kept driving and didn't even slow down! I just thought it was side to how long he had to wait, about 10-15 secs. (But trust me, we were sitting on the road waiting for him to pass, and he was waiting a long time!)

Re: Random Hang Out Topic
Yeah, it really is sad. One day while I was on the ambulance we were on our way back to the Central station. And we heard HSFD get a Fatal MVA with entrapment. So they rolled Engine 1, Engine 3 and Truck 5 (Truck 5 is a tiller) and it was rush hour at the busiest intersection in the city. So we flipped on our lights and stop in the intersection and held it for them. They stopped by later and thanked us, but the medic told them that we just tried to give them those few seconds more so maybe someone could be saved. I never heard the medic talk as much as he did then.

It's because most of America does not understand the importance of pulling over when an emergency vehicle comes up behind them, due to not being educated correctly.

Or just make it a Class C felony not to yeild to any vehicle running emergency traffic. 5-10 years, might make some people deside to pull over.

Well, wish me luck. A couple friends, Kelly, and I are going to Clinton Road tonight. I assume most of you have no clue what Clinton Road is since the majority of you guys are not from NJ, so just read some of the stories at the following link and you'll get the idea. Wish us luck!

Have fun! I believe in ghosts, and my dad even had a paranormal story for me haha.
So how about that call? I went to sleep for one night, and I miss 7 pages? I was wondering if we were on standby or staging or putting out fires, and I have no clue if we're supposed to be searching or supressing or whatever. Crazy I tell you! But what I see, you guys are doing a great job!

I don't think that's possible because sooner or later, everyone will stop their constant flow of posting. It kinda gives you the ability to think on your feet and gives that real life image like everyones doing this right as your doing something else. Kinda cool to me but it also has its downsides I'll admit.
