probably not I'm in EMT classes I'll probably get a job as an EMT and maybe go to like a mechanic tech school later and yeah i volunteer but we get like 1 call a week so it's not a very demanding job haha

Guys kill a police officer and only get 45 years. Thats why I love where I live, Arkansas might get a bunch of crap. But, here if you kill a officer you get life at a minimum.

haha, yeah that would suck. Someone asked me a weirds question today. We were watching a movie in history and it had a bunch of blood and guts and was really realistic. Which i'm sitting over there eating food and someone leans over and asks how I can stand it. I look at them and go because i'm weird. She goes what do you mean? I go well i'm an EMT-B and you have to be just a bit weird to begin with to deal with depressing things all the time. She then calls me stupid and turns around. But I got the last word in. And when something happens to you, you'll be grateful for the EMT's who help you.

so my buddy just got on his conference call with the exec producer of MIMS and the CEO of his record label waiting to hear word.

Yeah, you know it. People say all the time, "oh why would you do a job like that?" And I say, because I ge tto help people and it's fun! I must admit I'm a pretty weird person myself. I'm like good weird though, always positive, smart, etc.

I have gone from cleaning some disgusting things, bad enough an EMT with 20 years experience lost his stomach, and then went and continued eating my food like nothing happened. Now thats weird. haha

Sounds crazy! I seen someone spit flem over...and over...and over again on a call. I hated it but right when I got back, I sat at the table in the station, ate my sandwich with mayo and watched die hard lol! That was funny.

lol, I had one similiar, she had thrown up so much she was dry heaving. And let me tell you what, the 30 minute ride to the hospital felt like forever hearing her hacking every two seconds. haha

That's just...ewww. I don't like it when people throw up for some reason. Still, I might go for a Paramedic cert in the future, who knows...Or at least an EMT. Just 4 1/2 more months till explorer program, YEAH!

Ive been on EMS ride alongs like that. All i can say is thank god for ventalation on the ambulances. Yeah, I can do the same thing with grusome stuff. Sit their eating in class watching stuff like that. Fun fun

psych patients are the most fun! as long as you don't get hit or bit haha

Omg, psych are crazy... we get quite a few of those around here and some of those guys are just... insane

Yeah, I learned that really early. But it was fun, they can be dangerous but nothing like having 6 people trying to take one person down and restrain them. Just temember your gloves. I would have put mine on if I had time haha.

For those of you who want to know about the fire that I had earlier.

Call came in:
Tones 911 to Madison Co. Fire and Whitehall Vol. Respond to 3000 block of Possey Ridge Rd. on a report of a kitchen fire. Signal 40 (caller) advises that they were cooking in the trailer and something caught fire. They believe that it is under control at this time.

I go code 12, with County Fire and no one else responds with me cause we think it's just an out fire. I get half way there, and hear "911 to Madison County fire and Whitehall vol. signal 40 just 10-9'd dispatch, the fire has spread and the trrailer is now fully involved."

I bump it up to Code 8 (emergency response) and I hear Whitehall get retoned. We get 15-20 members now enroute instead of 1, and County is still coming, but I figure were good. I get about 100-500 ft. from the scene and I can see the Black plume rising from what would be our scene. I then hear, "911 to Madison County Fire and Whitehall Vol. we are now getting multiple calls over this run and have been notifed that the structure behind the trailer is now fully involved at the 3rd floor, I repeat the 3rd floor of the structure to the rear of the trailer is now fully involved.

My foot is getting a little heavier at this point but as I get out of my POV, I have that Oh S^^T moment. 1256 to 911 we have 2 structures fully involved, can you get me another vol. agency and station 2 from County. Also put BGAD (Blue Grass army depot, the one place in the US you don't want to be 1/2 of the US chemical weapons are stored here.), Richmond, and Brea Fire on stand by for this.

Long story short we were on scene for atleast 4 hours trying to knock that fire down.

haha we have one regular he never takes his meds so first thing in the door we talk to his wife who is fine..I don't wanna say normal but you know what i mean...but we just walk in he been taking his meds...her: nope...us: shit okay...then we call dispatch for PD and another crew haha

had those before 1am we got toned out for 1 structure fully involved coming over the hill into town I could see it was more then 1 think before we even got out the station the chief bumped it up to 3 alarms and we have half the county responding

We got a physic Ive never seen, but my dad deals with him a lot. He thinks he is a CIA agent and talk like he has a mic on him like he is talking to the president and Jessie Ventura. lol

Yeah, the one we were fighting with in the ER was a psych, bipolar, schizoprenic patient. That was a heck of a fight too.

My dads patient drank a whole bottle of hard liqour, 15 metal prescriptions. Lets just say she was your best friend, your worst enemy, the most carring person in the world, and she was very sorry in the 20 minute ride to the hospital.

Geez, that's funny! My friend acted bipolar one time, he was all nice to you and was like "How are you, beautiful day?" Then he'd yell at you and then he'd start crying. Then he'd get all stressed out and crazy. He's so funny...

on a side not this call is freaking crazy but it's a lot of fun a lot less sitting around I think this is as close to real as we've ever gotten cause you really have to think on your feet

So i got really bored last night so I considering doing on online radio station....haha Yeah I know stupid but if you get bored check it out here and tell me what sup because it's really hard to be on the side streaming and listing and trying to understand how well it's working thank you can't promise you'll like the music still working on getting a playlist down and i'm getting ready for bed so what it's streaming is just what i sent it before i left haha
