Oh wow, LOL! But you guys drive high-milage cars and rely more on public transportation. We have all the pickup trucks and that so we need more gas. On the other hand, 2 years ago it was $5.00 a gallon, then it went down to $2.00-$3.00 per gallon, now it's back up to $4.00-$5.00.

Yeah, that's why american cars aren't popular in Europe, they just use too much gas.

haha yeah you drive efficent cars we drive gas guzzling monsters...

ike hummers, fords, big peterbilts, and even bigger firetrucks haha that need a lot more gas too.

Yeah but they use diesel that's a different story. Still, I sometimes wish American companies made more electric/high milage cars. Cars are getting 30-40 MPG now, and Chevy made the new Volt which is electric. We're getting close...

yeah but fully electric cars but when we get our electric from oil or coal.....that doesn't make it any cheaper we have to get the electricity from a renewable source....and the second thing there still crazily expensive they need to make them cheaper or the goverment needs to give grants to help people buy them or something

You know, I think its funny when gas prices were high, people blamed Bush. Now Obama is president, prices are just as high and people dont give a sh*t.

Bush never started the war on terror, it was devised by SecDef Robert Gates and VP Cheney, Bush was the puppet. We were doing right fine kicking ass until NATO steped in and made it a more political agenda, utilizing US military forces for said agenda. Think about it, NATO forces in Europe would have a helluva lot more to gain with the oil in the Middle East. America, as always, just got scrweed by idiot countries, and ignorant people living in America got trolled really hard by political corruption.

so being a puppet and not using his big ole balls that he used all the other time it's still partly his fault....he could of said no he is the commander and chief of military if he says don't do that it won't be done..

A president cannot start a war or military operation over a certain amount of time without congress approving. You can blame Bush for the war, but he couldn't do it by himself. Also, if after 9/11, you didnt want to invade them, then...

However, I do believe we made a mistake of invading Iraq instead of Afganinstan.

nope but he can start a "conflict" if he says it's a national emergency....and by that time were so far in it would be more costly to pull out so congress has no choice but to say yes...

Also, they haven't gotten off of Obama's ass for the stupid birthplace thing so now everyone (Well, some republicans) hate him and think they could've done better with what's his name (I'm too lazy to think of it lol). Of course Bush could've invaded Afghanistan, why didn't he? IDK, maybe to find Sadam Hussein once again IDK, but maybe everything would have gone a lot smoother had he made US forces go into Afghanistan. Just sayin'.

The reason he went to Iraq was to finish what his dad started. Bush (senior) had Desert Storm and almost won, however ran out of time because of congress, and was forced to pull out.

Bush wanted to finish it and used 9/11 as an excuse. We did need to invade someone, however we should have started with Afganistan.

Exactly, in the mind of a lot of people, everything wrong in America today is because of him, when it really is not. He may not have been Americas greatest president, but he sure wasn't the worst.

Botfish that is the BEST emoticon! I want those, where'd you get them? But anyway, Bush wasn't a TERRIBLE president, he made some good as well as bad choices. But really, when planes crash into towers and kill over 1,000 people, you're not just gonna sit there and let it happen. The US isn't gonna take that crap, we fight back. Actually, Obama has a lower approval rating then Bush ATM. Just appreciate what they do for our country and how much they give us as people, they try their hardest to make this a great place to live, but sometimes things don't go your way.

Well I guess you'd might get the same issue with a chief taken part in putting out the fire as you'd get with commanding officers serving on the front lines: You risk loosing sight of the bigger picture. That's just guess though, don't have any personal experience with it.

You're just loving that aren't you?! haha. Also, the chief pic is great but if there is another chief on scene, its even better! One chief can be inside assessing the interior attack and whatnot and another chief (most likely chosen to be safety officer) assessing the outside but if there is one chief, the chief most likely has to be a safety officer and commander so he/she won't be able to enter the structure sadly but whatever the chief wants to do, they can do.
