Drugs and accident

*I sweep everything to the side and radio in.*

"We have the debris off to the side and we're ready for more orders."

All units stay outside perimeter unless cleared by osc or copa

"Wow we MIGHT get some sort of action tonight" *I say sitting back in my seat listening to the radio chatter*

"Let's hope this thing don't explode though. My mom already worries enough about me doing this job. I don't want to tell her my first call was a meth lab explosion"

*I continue with a chuckle*

"Libor, are we going to call HAZMAT for the meth lab downstairs?"

**I bring the detainees to patrol cars, then help set up the perimeter with flares and traffic cones.**

10-4, copa we need hazmat.

"Okay, guys @ T.C, we're remaining on scene for a bit longer. I have some stuff to finish up."

"Fire @ raid, I told you to stage. Again, not following orders."

"Anyone need help?"

Let's just sweep this glass and debris to the side.

I drive over to where Mc Guire is get out the bag and begin treatment on the guy.

I move the door to the side of the road and continue sweeping.

Entry team, do we have an update on the situation inside? Any suspects missing, or all they all cleared. Do we need medical?

Building is cleared and evacuated. 1 suspect being treated for gsw. Possible meth lab.

Copy, if area is cleared, have TAC get into the class B HAZMAT suits, then enter to dissemble the cladensen lab. You can tape up the place and send out your units as you see fit

10-4, tac you copy?

"Understood, I'll get on the HAZMAT gear. Maintain the perimeter."

**I remove my armor and put on the HAZMAT gear - mask, biosuit, durable rubber gloves and boots. The mask has a filter, which will be useful, but I still need to make sure that there aren't open flames in the lab area.**

"COPA, TAC is reentering structure to dismantle lab and render the structure safe. Can someone from FD please respond as well? We need to know the more advanced procedures for removing the toxic gases."

(I staged and havent moved, so how are we not following orders?)

"Ridgeback, the patient is already in BLS-1, instead of going through he hassle of transferring him to ALS-1, do you just want to get whatever you need and treat him in BLS-1 during transport?"

*I begin to fill out what I can on the call sheet. I find identification in the shirt I cut off, and write down his info. I press the talk button on the radio*

"McGuire to TAC, we have identification for our patient, we'll just leave that and the bullet vest at the base for you unless you want to take it now."

(( as far as I know Raven is our only HAZMAT trained FF, and he has been inactive for a while))
*"Lt.Garcia TAC is requesting FD assistance, does Ladder 1 have permission to move onto scene?" I say into the truck radio*

"TAC to COPA, we'll probably need an infrared gas analyzer to determine whether the air is safe. Is one available?"

**I begin disconnecting pipes and removing nuts and bolts. I'm careful to not allow anything to drop.**

"We're dismantling the lab now."

Negative ladder 1, we need highly trained hres to handle and transport the evidence.

((All TAC is trained for cadenstine labs, so they know what they're at, however unless something burns, keep all fire out, regardless if they are hazmat or not. You try and keep crime scene contamination to a minimum, the less non police inside, the better))

"Understood, COPA. The lab is about halfway dismantled. The equipment will be removed as evidence when we finish, as well as the drugs. Someone should notify the DEA about the bust."

**All of a sudden, some fuel ignites the cab of the truck into small flames contained to the cab.**

((Hm, been unable to keep up with this thread, guess I am outside now.))

*I walk over to my squad and get the barrier tape and start putting up some to block of the sidewalk and area around the lab. After that I walk over to officer Libor.*

"What's the orders Libor?"

"Woah."
*I grab an ABC extinguisher and start trying to put it out with it.*
"Hey Davis, can you help me with the other side of the cab? (it's small right. No need to shoot a crosslay)"
*I sweep the inside of the cab with the chemicals shooting out of the extingiusher and the fire starts to get smaller.*

"I'll help Hannahan"

**I run and get a ABC extinguisher and help Hannahan spray the inside of the cab. I point the extinguisher everywhere in the cab and continue to extinguish the fire**

"Ok start the engine I'll begin treatment in your rig."

"Copy that PC-6 we are holding stand-by position"
"Lt. Ladder is holding position assistance is no longer needed"
I say this into the radio just after hearing about the car fire, I listen intently to what is unfolding before us*

"Alright, let me know when you're ready."

*I put the jumpbag back into it's cabinet via the interior door, I drop the ID and bullet vest into a clean, empty plastic bag for TAC, then jump out. I step into the cab, start the engine, turn on the hazard lights, and take a look at the EAT to get myself up to speed on the situation outside of EMS*

"Ready when you are."

libor to halls, you can help me keep the perimeter secure. All other patrols can clear if not doing anything.

*I grab an extinguisher and run to help the guys.*

"This is Bucello, the lab has been dismantled. Should we move the disassembled pieces, or do they need decon? For that matter, do I need decon as well?"

Just deassemble it so it is not functional. Anything posing an immediate threat as is, then it can be requested to be removed, but if it can be left there without making more drugs or posing a huge risk of explsion, leave it be for the CSIs

"Understood."

**I leave the device alone.**

"Will I need decon?"

*I listen closely to the radio in Jack's hand*
"Looks like no action on this one huh Anders?"

*i lean back in the seat and shut the engine off*

*I start walking around the perimeter, telling curious civilians to stay outside the barrier tape.*

*I open the hood just in case so I could watch it anything sparks up. I put the extinguishers back but leave one out just in case something happens. I check my air tank pressure and sit on the bumper of the pumper.*

*I go and put my extinguisher away.*

"OK, don't touch anything, as the police need to investigate. Just hang tight until Garcia tells you otherwise."

"The glove box is still on fire you guys."

**I see the slight glow from the material in the glove box still burning, as it spreads into the engine compartment and class A fuels start igniting outside of the truck into the vegetation.**

"Alright take him to the hospital"
I get out of BLS 1 and go back to ALS 1.

"10-4, Ridgeback."

*I put the ambulance in drive, and pull to the edge of the driveway of the parking lot*

"BLS-1 to central, transport one male to ERT hospital, have a trauma team standby at the ER, multiple gun shut wounds to the arm."

*I turn on the lights, slowly pull out onto the road and drive to the base, keeping one hand on the steering wheel, other hand on the siren knob*

Ah dammit.
*I grab the crosslay with foam in it and start spraying near the vegetation first so as not to let the evidence burn.*
"Alright I'm moving in closer."
*I move in a little closer and spray the midsection (cab) of the truck.*
"The drugs are good still."
*I keep spraing until I put out most of the fire. Just a small engine fire is left. I quickly open the glove box and spray it with a little bit of foam.*
"The gllove box is out." I say to myself "now for the engine."

**I remove my HAZMAT suit and check to make sure the perimeter is secure; it is. I get back in the RRT truck and wait to be cleared.**

Police units are cleared to leave under PD OSC's command
