"Copy that Hannahan."

'Hey Raven, it's clear down here, let's head upstairs.'

*I pick up my tools and walk towards the stairwell.*

' Jack hit the ceiling and work your way down to the floor. '

* I point at where it is running the ceiing however Jack is already on it. *

*I shut the nozzel down as the last of the flames leave the room. By this time Tim and John have made there way all the way back up here with their tools. I see the chared walls and tileless ceiling and think this wont be too hard. I pull the line into the middle of the room for ease of access.

'Have fun Tim, I'll be here with the hose if you need it'

((Sorry guys been really busy))

"What do you want me to do Hannahan?"

'Pack up and wait at the truck. I'm going to call for a BLS PEMS unit to check you guys out.'
*I make sure I have everything and I head back upstairs to watch how things are going in the chem lab.*'
'Hey Floan, I got my guys at the truck so that's two more that won't be able to help you but Squad 1 is still available for help. You need anyone else?'

' haha alright jack'
* i tear down the ceiling tiles and start poking at the walls tearing the wall apart and see no more fire*
" can someone with a tic come up the the thrid floor chem lab for a check, we should be fine"

*I take the TNT tool and start working on the opposite wall.*

'Everything is looking good here.'

* I take my mask off and start to breathe the intoxicating smell of fresh burned structural members. *

' No im good Hannahan thx....Alright Jack, Tim, lets start Packing up. John why dont u disconnect the Line from the hydrant and we'll bring it downstairs. Lets make certain we have all our tools accounted for as well. '

" COPA, Pump-11. Fire is knocked down, Overhaul is all but complete. We are packing up now. Pump-11 can handle. All other units can clear at your Discresion. "

'Alright, I'm going downstairs but we'll probably be here for a while. I mean my crew.'
*I take me and my TNT down the stairs and take my mask off as well as my SCBA. After seeing my guys downstairs, I see the BLS PEMS unit just pulling up. I go over to them.*
'Hey how ya doin'?'
Doing fine, whats up?
'I've got two of my guys here that was near a small backdraft explosion. They seem fine but I want them checked out.'
Ok, yeah we could do that.
'Thanks man.'
How are you doing?
'Eh, fine.'
Ok good.
*I see them get their jump bag and start treating my crew.*
(You guys are being treated Moon and Mitch)
"COPA, Rescue 1 will be on scene for about 10 to 20 more minutes."

As the paramedics treat me I take a sip of my large Red Bull trying to recover from the backdraft; as the adrenaline is still pumping.

"How you doing moon?"

*Since I was in the backdraft, I go to the ambulance and get checked out real quick. I see the paramedics treating Moon and Mitch.*

'How you all feeling?'
*I say as I put my SCBA back in the seat. I set my mask on the dash under my helmet and close the door. I look around and see pockets of smoke coming out of the room. Still wondering if we should go back up.*
"Rescue 1 to Pumper 11."

*As Tim and John tear at the walls, the debris falls and smolders a little so I hit it with the hose keepping everything undercontrol. I wath as the walls come down and show the interior metal studs.

'Looks like they tried to do some fire proofing.'

*I walk over to examine the studs and as I closly examine I notice there are wires traveling through the wall and through eyelets of the studs. I follow the wire and find a spot where it has apeared to soder itself to the stud.

'Think this could be the cause Lt?'

" Pump-11, Go ahead Rescue 1. "

' hmm that is definatly interesting Jack, not sure if thats the cause or not. lets just keep poking around and make certain we got it all. '

'Got it Lt.'

*I grab my TNT tool and head to the stand-pipe and unhook the hoseline.*

"How's it going with that fire up there? I'm still seeing some smoke."
*I see that PEMS is almost done with Mitch and starts to move on to Moon.*
(Moon, you're being treated.)

*The other paramedic treats me and I step out of the ambulance.*

'Thanks guys!'
'No problem, stay safe.'
'Ok.'

*I walk back towards the squad and see the rest of the crew.*

'Watsup guys, should we start packing up?'

' alright floan'
* i grab my pike pole and begin to descend down the stair toward the truck and start to put my pike back into the rear of the truck and slide it all the way in and strap it down*

'You guys take anything off that truck Davis? I'll help you with that.'
*I put my tnt tool under my seat for ease of use and go over to Squad 1 to start putting tools away.*

'Oh hey, thanks. Yeah, just get these irons and stuff here.'

*I take off my helmet and jacket and put them in the driver's seat as usual. Then I head to the back and start putting away some of the irons.*

*I pick up a TIC also from off of the bumper of the truck and close the compartment holding those tools.*
'No problem man. So how things been going at station 1?'

* i re load my high rise pack into the compartment, shut the rolling door and walk over to the drivers seat and take the pump out of gear and shut the lights down and throw my turnout jacket and helmet onto the dash*
( taking a LOA, floan can decide a new driver for that time if he wants, or he can god mod me..whatever works)

( Colwell can drive for us until Tim gets back. )

* I walk out of the building, take my tank off and sling it over my shoulder and slowly walk back to the engine. *

(Oh gee thanks! LOL)

*I drag the hoseline outside and take off my SCBA and coat and put inside the truck.*

'Wheres the water'

*I walk around to try to find some water.*

* I walk over to Colwell who is looking for some water. *

' Oh Driver, Driver. '

* I cant hold back a laugh and toss him a water, I walk over and stow my SCBA back behind my seat and take off my turnout coat, I put it on the seat and close my door. *

'Oh Hannahan, things are goin great. I'm still cookin ya know haha.'

*I close the compartments and head to the cab. I climb in, turn off the lights, and grab some water. Then I come back out and sit on the bumper.*

"Are we all clear there? The fire investigator will be coming in as well as a few reps from the school, they're just wondering the status there now"

I check to make sure both lines are still on hold while waiting for an answer

'Thanks Lt., we will see who is laughing on the way home!'

*I say with a smirk and catch the water and take a drink.*

*As both EMT's give me the thumbs up, they leave and I radio to COPA,*
"Rescue 1 to COPA, we're all done here. You want us to stay around for the investigator?"
*I put my radio back on my shoulder and close all compartments. I remove the chocks and put them back and sit on the bumper while drinking a nice cold water bottle.*

" COPA, Pump-11. Fire is out and Overhaul is complete. "

' My guys lets saddle up and head home. '

* I walk over to my side of the truck and watch ad Colwell starts to head over to the engine, as he gets close I very loudly Clear my throat and point to my door. *

' Open the door Driver. '

* I laugh and open my own door, climb in and put my headset on and wait for the rest of the crew to load up. *

" Pump-11 to Rescue 1 we're gonna go ahead and clear if you guys dont need any help. "

*I look at Floan and give him a thumbs up.*
"Rescue 1 to Pump, go ahead. We're clearing in a bit."
'You guys ready to go? Lets wait for that investigator then we can go. Got to explain this to someone.'

"All units clear, scene being turned over to another authority"

*I climb into the driver's seat.*

'Alright guys let's roll.'

*I turn off all the lights except the director bar and I wait for everyone to pack up.*

"Rescue 1 clearing."
*As I say that, I see the fire investigator pull up. I honk the horn and we leave.*

*I climb into the truck and hang my helmet up as I grab a water and drink it. I look oout the window as we drive home watching all the pretty colors in the early morning.

" COPA, Pump-11 is Clear returning to the station. "

' Alright John take us home nice and easy. '

* I close my door and watch as Colwell starts the truck and pulls us away from the scene. *

*Everyone's in, so I close my door and disengage the parking brake. Then I put the truck in drive and put on me headset.*

"Squad 1 to COPA, we're returning to station."

*I pull away from the scene.*

*I climb into the drivers seat, put the truck in drive and head out.*

'Lets go home boys.'

( John dont forget to pull us back into station. )

After getting my gear off, I start the truck and hesd back to the station.

"Good Call huh guys?"

(sorry i sorta trailed off towards the end been a busy couple days)

*I hope int he truck after putting everything away*
