Ander's House Fire

(( Raven, I told him to grab a 1 1/2" line seeing as how we are limited on water supply for the moment, more use rather than a blast of water for a short time u can delay it even a 1/2" wopuld make a difference and a garden hose is a 3/4" line. It was my call for that not his. ))

*I run up to the pump and set the pressure at 95 PSI hoping it will last us until we get a tender up here.

"P11 charging line one."

I pull out the lever and watch the line fill.

"P11 charging line two"

I pull line two's lever and watch it fill. I set the supply to the suction lines and hold the tank incase we need it.

(Tell me if I missed something. Had to study EMT alot sorry)
"Cressler, Mitch, give me an update on how you guys are doing with the suppression."
*I take another SCBA out as well as the RIT bag. I then go over to the drivers' side and switch the scene lights on except the front flood lights. I walk up to the scene and look around making sure everything I could see is going well. I then walk over to Jack.*
'Hey, you doing alright? I see you're not going in.'

"Meh where just standing up here we don't have a hose and not really sure what they wanted us for were just gonna stand by on the front of the pumper"
'Well mitch fun walk up here for nothing'

(didn't really mis much haven't started suppression yet)

*I grab the lines Floan wanted and get them streched out.*

'Ok Lt. What else do you need?'

(Sorry. Been really busy past two days.)

"Alright, how about this, Mitch, you're going to be with the ladder crew so unless I tell you to do something else, you're under Bruce's control for a while. You too Cressler. Get with Floan and a Pumper team. If you need anything, I'll be right outside. I have extra bottles for you that I'll lay outside so don't go far if you need one."
*I take my hand off of my mic then look around at a PPD cruiser pulling up. I walk over to side Bravo of the house and see just bits of smoke coming out of the basement on that side too.*
'Hope this doesn't spread too much into the first floor.'

*I try the door and head inside*
"This is Botfish, I don't see anything on the first floor execpt alot of smoke"
*I go into the basement and start spraying*

* I walk inside the house with Colwell behind Botfish, there is smoke around and its starting to get worse, We go downstairs into the basement level and are met with fire all around. I get down on 1 knee and look up to check the ceiling, the fire has already ran the ceiling and over the North wall as well. *

' Austin, John. Start hitting the ceiling we got Tim and Jack outside, they r gonna hit through the windows. '

" Pump-11 to OSC, Contact Basement level, heavy fire running the ceiling and walls. "

* Austin starts spraying the ceiling with John on the 2nd line. *

' Work it in 2 different directions u guys. '

'ok!'
*I witch to fog pattern and hit the left side of the cieling while John hits the other*

"OSC copies your update P11, RA1 I also copy your update."

*I see the PFD tanker pull up onscene at the end of the road. I start to walk down the drive way to meet them.*

"Anyone available to assist PFD hook up the Pumper with the water supply."

*I see the PFD crew hop out and start throwing out the supply pool and starting to empty there tanker in it.*

"I woud sir, but i'm a little tied up"

(Am I the John you're talking of Floan? I'm not with you but Cressler is)
'I'll help him.'
*I walk over to McEvoy.*
'I'll help em.'
*I help grab the cap for the discharge and take it off so they could drain the truck. I then move to the side as water is forced out of the tanker.*
'How you guys been?'
Good, busy day huh?
'Somewhat.'
Yeah, we'll go on another supply run after this and come back so it won't get too low.
'Alright thanks man.'
No problem.
*I try to shout over the sound of the engines and heavy water flow in front of me but I ujst stop talking and watch.*
"Anyone need water from the pool?"

"I am a lttle low on water pressure if you want t ohook me up. Shouldn't most of us be hoked up to it?"

" Hannahn, were using the pumper for base operations, flow all water to the pumper"
* I switch to a heavy fog and start spraying the ceilings from outside through the windows*
( should we assign someone to "water" and have them making sure the tanker fills and returns to scene and stuff, like a secondary command spot)

(Sounds like a good idea. Is anyone not doing anything?)

( typically it would be a high rank, maybe like ewan or hannahan, or bruce)
" Floan, how are things looking down there, wanna make sure were not hitting you or pushing fire towards you"

(McEvoy would be responsible for that, unless something arose needing his direct attention)

"Update on status please Command"

"ladder 1 crew to command ventalation has been acomplished and the building has been laddered. what would you like us to do next?"

(Lt. Hannahan he's talking to colwell i'm still up top they went in before we got with them)

*I take my helmet off and set it on the front bumber*
'Man mitch i could still be sleeping instead of this'

*I see the tanker dumping into the pool and radio to Floan:

"P11E to P11 command, we have a pool of water, do you need more pressure?"

((Could we maybe lay a sucker to the pool from the ladder and get two larger lines off of that?))

*I spray in the opposite direction of Austin.*

'Man it's hot down here!'

'No, really!'
"Interior attack to COPA, John and I are doing an interior attack in the basement"

" Exterior to interior, you need another line down there, we can bring this one down"
* I take my mask off as the smoke stops coming out of the basement window*

((I'll handle the tanker ops.))

"IC to COPA, We have ventalation complete and interior attack in progress, I'll update you shortly."

*I walk up the driveway to my truck. I hop in an back it down the driveway and park it at the base of the driveway.*

"L1 OIC to command. do you have any instructions for us?"
*i walk around the buiding to survey the situation*

'I want you with L1. You'll be under Bruce until I give you other directions.'
*I walk away from the burning building to the rescue and put on my helmet and get my SCBA on.*
'Almost forgot' I say as I put it on.
*I walk over to McEvoy.*
'Chief, you want me to help you or go inside?'

'Raven and I are goin in.'

"This is Davis to interior attack crew, Raven and I are starting the search."

*I grab my irons and make my way towards the front door.*

'Hey Raven, do we need to search upstairs first or downstairs?'

*I walk up besides Bruce*
'I hope that tanker gets here soon so we can really start attacking this fire'

'the tanker is here.its making its shutle. Do me a favor and check the smoke conditions in the basement please'

*I grab my mic and call my guys.*
"Rescue 1 command to crew, how's it going in there?"

'In where? i'm sitting on the bumper of the pumper'

*I look over at Moon yelling at me and I look down.*
"Rescue 1 to Floan, you have one extra person out here. You want him to anything for you?"

*I walk back to the pump and check to see that everything is okay. Water is being sucked frome the creek at a decient rate.

'Hey lt. i'm good out here i'm gonna take a nap don't talk to him'

(Everyone read. I'll just start deleting posts if they reference someting that didn't or has already happened. Also, everyone please pay attention, and report to your TO in BOLD every so often, it's hard to keep track of people if no one is reporting in. And lastly, I will pull everyone out of this structure and give it to the vollies if you guys can't get organized, like seriously, come on, I know you can do it, you've done it before, do it again)

"COPA to Command, what's the scene down there, I'm getting a lot of mixed traffic coming through here"

' John, Austin keep spraying around, We also need to advnace into the basement area instead of sticking close to the entry point. '

" Pump-11 Command to Pump-11 Exterior, Tim can you bring Jack and enter the structure. We can use another line down here. "

(( We are having massive flooding here guys so it may be a while tomorrow before im on, so godmod me if u need to BUT DONT HURT ME lolol ))

*I slowly start inching closer and closer to the seed of the fire.*

(I will be having the same problems as Floan tomorrow)

"Rescue 1 to Pumper 11 command or Ladder 1 command, you guys need any assistance in there?"
'Moon, mann the pump until Floan wants you K?'

((just had a tornado warning called off, luckly I don't think anything touched down))

"Copy that Lt. We going to breech from side C at the walk out basement"

'Hey Tim can you help me with this line, i'll take nozzelman'

*I jog over to the truck and pull a line and walk down past my retaining wall then to the big glass doors. I can't see much with all of the smoke behind them.

"P11 portable 3 to R-1, can you send one person down with a pike pole to take out a door around side C?"

((Ander's, Side C preping for entry of lower level))

'Hey mitch you can take that i'm sitting back here staring at the pump'
*I look up at the panel and notice they only have 100psi and think to myself what babies i'll fix this I pull the handle up and watch it crank up to about 200*
'Now they'll actually put something out'

"The basement is still fully engulfed"
*I crawl forward with John and keep spraying my side*

"10-4, we'll have someone come down for you."
*I walk over to Cressler.*
'Go ahead buddy. Bring a pike and a TIC with you to knock down a door. Mitch will take over for you up here. You gotta get your exercise somehow.'

'Rodger Lt. my lazy butt isn't putting on a SCBA that thing is to heavy.'
*I grab a pike and a tic from the pumper and throw my helmet on*
'I'm coming down i'm getting that door and clearing out'
*I walk into the house and follow the lines to find my way to the basement while i sound out with the pike to make sure the floor is still good i follow the line to find anders*
'Hey there jack what do ya need'

* I finally get to take a knee from a crawling position as the fire begine to be beaten back, however there is still heavy fire on all walls and the ceiling on the farthest wall away from us is still heavily affected. I point to it and tap Colwell on the shoulder. *

' John get that area there dont let it run the ceiling again that would be bad with as many people that are down here now for that to happen. '

" Pump-11 Command Interior to OSC. Fire is being beaten back however it is still way to active, something has to be feeding this somewhere down here. "

"Are you sure "EVERYTHING" was shut down?"

I connect the squad to the pumper and watch the pump

"Jansen to Raven, we're hooked up to the pumper

"I copy that Pumper 11. Do you need more people inside?"

*I help the tanker empty out for a second time. Then the Driver waves to me and starts to drive off to go fill up again.*

"Command to COPA, The fire is getting beaten down but there must be some type of accelerator inside."

"Copy, well power is cut, so it's not that. Do we have the gas isolated and cut? Does he have an flammable materials inside?"
