High level platform rescue

*i walk over to the edge of the platform and climb down the ladder. then i take my BA off and change the cylinder and place the pack back in the truck. then i walk over to the drivers door and lay my helmet up on the dash*

'Good work guys.' I say as I climb down the ladder. Everyeon get some water and relax when you get back hehe. Lets pack this up so I could go to sleep.'
*i grab my clipbaord and start going over everything on the board seeing if I missed anything. Right as I was going to say 'Where's the TIC?', Tim puts it into the compartment and I finally finish everything.*
"SV-2, can you disconnect us now? We're almost done here."
*I go over to the pump and turn off the water pressure and flip the engage switch in the drivers side cab off to stop the mechanics of the pump. I walk back over to the crosslay and get ready to put it back after Austin disconnects us.*

* I help Hannahan with the crosslay then start walking around the truck checking the doors and compartments making sure they are all secure. I then go over to door and put my cover on my set and look around seeing if anybody needs help packing up. *

"S1C to COPA, I'll respond to the ARFF landing. Ladder 1 TO will be put in charge of the IC. All thats left is mop up and finish extinguishing."

*waves bye, shuts the trunklid of my truck, runs over to my driver seat. I shut my door and throw the truck in reverse and make a u-turn. I then turn on the yelp siren. and work my way through traffic.*

"RA-1 to S1C, do you need us at the Fort or can we go a head and clear?"

* I see that nobody needs help with anything and that from what I can see we are ready to clear, I walk over to the truck, open the door and grab my favorite cigar from the compartment next to my seat and enjoy a Long smoke while I walk around looking for loose Debris or anything we may have left over. *

' Hey LT wanna go back im ready for something to eat. '

( dont think we can smoke at the scene, or at all)

" Lt. we should be good"
* I climb in the truck and take my jacket and helmet off and leave them at my feet*

"Sure can L-1"
*I pick up the wrench then shut off the water flow, disconnect the hose, then put the cap back on*
"SV-2 to L-1, your all set to go"
*I roll the hose up and put it in the truck*
"SV-2 to S1C, are we clear?"

"S1C to Fort Basio IC, I need the two medic units to clear once arrive at the hospital."

"RA-1 to COPA, cleared on Fort Basio, show us en route Code 3 to Johnson Airport."

* After the last hose is Rolled and put back I extinguish my cigar but save it for later, My coat that had been laying on my seat and cover were both by now on the truck floor, I pick them up and put my cover on the right hand side of my seat and my coat on the hanger in front of me and then I climb aboard.
' Ah its gonna be good to get back then go home for a little R&R '
* I put my headset on and settle back in my seat for the drive back to the house. *

"I reapeat... SEV-2 to S1C, are we clear to return to base?"

(Sorry guys, had to do some EMS runs)
'Can't go without putting the ladder down now can we?'
*I slowly walk over to the ladder controls and put the stick down locking it in place. I put th outriggers back up and get the chocks. I open my door, get into my seat, then close it behind me. I then get my headset and put it on as well as my seatbelt. After doing so, I slowly grab the mic and radio to COPA that we're going to clear.*
"Command to COPA, all units are clearing. Returning to station from Fort Basio and ready for callout."
*I look over at the guys and speak loudly into the headset over the engine:*
'Each of you are going to give me 30 pushups for 1) not putting the ladder down which is almost the most importat thing, and 2) not putting the outriggers in. Got it guys? John, when we get back, I want to talk to you in my office AFTER your 30 pushups.'

*I get in the truck, turn off the lights, then head back to base*
"SEV-2 to COPA, we are heading back to base"

"Rodger that units. Showing you all returning to base and available for callout."COPA Out.
