Motor vehicle Accident

"I'm gonna go to sleep in the rig. I'll wake up in a couple hours....literally."

"Alright Hannahan, we will wake you up when we get to Mickey D's!"

**RADIO**
"Engine 11 awaiting further orders."

"Hahaha. Guys, dang. Gotta get the bumpers out of the way and the large car parts."

*I get out of the engine and start to pull a piece of bumper to the side of the road*
"We just leave this here right?"
*I then grab the broken door from one of the cars and put it next to the bumper on the side. Any small pieces I see, i grab the broom or shovel and shove it to the side*
"Hey Mitch, can I get that bag again?"

*walks up to garcia* what would you like me to do?

"Hey guys, need any help?"

"ALS-1 is en route to the hospital"

"Hey Walt, just help them move pieces of the cars to the side until we can get another way to get rid of the parts. If you want to help too Davis, it would be appriciated "

**I continue clean up with the rest of the guys.**

Units be alerted, DC is leaving scene. Patrol will open traffic when it finds suitable. Both victims have been cleared to leave and will leave by own means. City Tow should be here soon to take the to the landfill scrapyard.

I grab my road flares and get in my truck. I flick off the lights when I clear the scene and I pull into the complex a short two minutes later. When I get in my garage, I take the ALS bag and place it on the restore rack to have general personnel refill. I put the flare case on the rack and start to recharge them.

Once that's completed I place my pants in the trunk, helmet on the dash, and plug in the car. Now it's up to my office to start the report.

"Copy, COPA clear of scene."

"Hey, I have some personal belongings here, I'll put them in a bag and we'll have someone take them over to the hospital. Debris are off the asphalt, just vehicles left."

**I go grab a new set of nitrile gloves off the engine and put the belongings from the ground into a plastic bag, then tie it off. Their still covered in blood, so they'll have to be cleaned, but at least some things were saved.**

"This has really been one hell of a crash..."

"Tell me about it.Guy gets half his head ripped off. That's tough to heal."
*I walk around sweeping just dirt and little bits of glass onto the shoulder with other debris then just stop with my broom in my hand.*
"Garcia,is this a wallet?"
*I walk to Garcia and show him the tattered,almost in half piece of reptile skin, supposedly still looking like wallet.*

Be advised Coroner will accept the corpse for autopsy until we have our own ME

Did we question the other people and figure out how they crossed over?

"We have a staged area the body's at. Will the coroner come and pick up the body or should an ambulance transport?"

Copy that, Garcia, I say. **I grab my extrication gloves off the pumper and put them on. And then I grab a broom and a dustpan and assist other guys**

* I keep sweeping and occasionally grab the shovel for loose debris. I then grab the hose and start spraying the ground so as to clean some dry blood.*
"Can someone help me pack this hose really quickly please?"

"Yeah, I'll help pack it."

**I pull the steps down next to the hose bed and go up top, then open up the metal door covering the crosslays. We pack the hose in a 3-5 fold.**

"Alright Hannahan. I guess the guys don't lie about probies having to do all the dirty work!

"Haha, I'm a good T.O and helping you out though "

**I double check to make sure we have everything and notice the foam wrench is missing.**

"Hey, where's the foam wrench?"

Not sure. **looks around, in, and underneath the rig, looks near pump panels.** Garcia, i've got it! It was sitting on the pump panels! **walks over and hands it to Garcia.** Your welcome

"I DIDN'T DO IT!!! And Casey, it's actually alright.Gotta get my hands dirty sometime."
*I start packing the hose with Garcia.*
"Do MVA's like this happen often?"

"Thanks a lot Casey, haha."

**Puts the foam wrench back in with the appliances.**

**helping Garcia and Hannahan with the hose** I'm starving. Did I hear somthing about Mickey D's? I would go mad for a double cheese burger, no pickels, medium frys and a strawberry milkshake! and MAYBE a small m&m mc'flurrie would'nt hurt!
