Yeah no kidding. I was at a party at my friend's and we were all like Wow, this is bad!

I was about to fall asleep, but it was so annoying it kept waking me up.

Wow when it rains it pours we haven't had a call in like 4 days....we got 5 today 1 fire 2 medical and 2 MVC

I would say, when I was doing my internship with the ems service here, I rode 2 days on a 24 hour truck and 2 days on a 12 hour truck. 12 hour truck we never stopped long enough to get posted to any of the 3 stations.

Just to change the subject for a sec, this takes proper english to a whole new level!

Actually, now she's a Kindergarten teacher at my school. It's nice, because I get special treatment from all the teachers. But we always have known them really well and I never get into trouble, so tehy respect me anyway. Actually, you guys know Luke Harangody on the Celtics? His mom is our principal. He was there today practicing in the gym before school, and Luke said he'd give my brother Kyle $100 if he made a 3, and Kyle missed. It was funny.

i like listening to Columbus Fire, because they're busy but not ungodly busy like FDNY or LAFD

I'll give it a listen. I've been through a few, most aren't very good, quality wise. The LAFD one is currently the best I've heard.

Too bad they don't have one for Schererville. I've been on that site before looking for radio scanners. I have an app called Radio 5-0 for my iPod, and it has clear radio. I listen to the Chicago FD one and it's pretty cool.

I have a brother that lives in San Diego, he said that there are only a few he can feel. They happen every day, but the only ones he feels are ones about 5.0+ . But there have been nights where he's woken up and found framed pictures on the floor, or times he'll be watching football and see a hanging light fixture swaying and raddeling. I go there at least twice a year, and I always go there in hopes of feeling one, not the 'big one', but one you can feel. I've been disappointed every time. lol

Did it hurt yours? hahahahaha!! Yeah, but I like the sound of the Q I didn't flinch or anything and I liked the sound so I didn't care lol. The beautiful truck behind the fire medic is the new brush truck! Since our part of VA is burning, it went on three calls with engine 3. It looked like a daddy escorting a baby to a fire or something since the engine had its loud Q while the brush had its hyperyelp and powercall haha. It was kinda cool since I've never seen it leave before.

I prefer a "phaser fart." A term coined by my department in OH when the medics were experimenting with the Rumbler and Siren tones, and set it to phaser. If you haven't tried this, and have access to a truck with a rumbler, I highly recommend trying this.

Hahahahah!!! I know what you mean! I've heard that phaser fart before but my department doesn't have rumblers. I'm going to sleep. Goodnight guys.

Yeah Hannahan, we were on our way to a possible Cardiac Arrest, we're about to turn off of Cleveland Ave on to Morse Rd. (one messed up interescetion) and everyone infront of us just stoped. So we were on the wrong side of the road and hit the phaser fart. I ook out the side of the medic in time to see the Reserve Cop sitting at the light looking like he just crapped his pants.

They sound busy now. Just had a natural gas leak, a working fire and a shitload of EMS runs. For a while they were dispatching 2 medical runs per minute.

I'm also from Columbus. Yeah I was listening last night and I heard them send out an Explosive Ordinance run to the Rumpke plant. CPD found a grenade at the landfill! Oh and if your listening on the 3rd or the 6th and hear Medic 119 get dispatched, that will be me!

I'll listen for ya Hutchy. The dispatch tones just scared me half to death xD I used the headphones elsewhere, came back to the comp, plugged in and turned up the volume. I still had the stream running, obviously
