Lucky Princess Fire (Triage and Police area)

*I arrive at the triage area with another red.*

'Hey guys, found him unconcious.'

((4 black, 5 red, 8 yellow, 27 green, 179 still missing))

*I shake my head in wonder. He's asking for a medic and has no idea as to the condition of the man.*

"Well then let's check him over!"

*I start checking the man over the injuries*

((Kelly is having a bit of a family emergency and I told her she doesn't have to come on here, she probably already wasn't planning on coming on during it. IDK if she wants me to tell you whats going on or if she will if she wants to, so I'll just say she'll be absent for a little))

"10-4, I'm transport command"

*I pull over to by Ra-1 at command, idle the ambulance, put the keys in my pocket, then reach back behind the center console and open a cabinet grabbing a vest and tags, shutting the cabinet, grabbing a second radio, then stepping out.*

*I put on the vest while walking over to Hutchison, keeping the radio i already had on on ERT Dispatch/EMS ops, and turning on the second radio and switching it to the PEMS channel*

'Hello Cory. What's up? How may do we have, how many don't we have?'

'Hey Doug, we have 44 found and triaged and 179 missing. I need you to cover the transportation section and lets start getting the reds and yellows on the way to the hospital.'

*I look around and find the transportation command vest laying on the ground. I pick it up and toss it over to Doug. I head over to the MCI bus and find Kaizer.*

'Doc, how many do you have that are packaged up and ready to get to the hosspital?'



(Guys I'll be off line for probably the rest of the day. I have to move back down to KY.)

" matthews to EMS, we have 59 people found, all greens, we will be escorting them down to the busses"

((4 black, 5 red, 8 yellow, 86 green, 120 still missing))

*I arrive at the triage area with the family.*

'Ok guys, here you go. She's a yellow, slight burns to the legs.'

*I drop them off and head back towards the ship.*

((4 black, 5 red, 90 green, 9 yellow, 115 still missing.))

" matthews to EMS command, have 30 people coming down, all greens again, 3 of them are pediatrics and could be examined however"

((4 black, 5 red, 120 green, 9 yellow, 85 still missing.))

"EMS Command to Mathews, I copy that we have 30 greens enroute to us. BREAK to Triage and Treatment commands do you copy direct?"

*I set my mic down and make on the board that we have 4 black, 5 red, 9 yellow, 120 green, and 85 still unacounted for. I look over everything and grab my mic. I check to make sure that Im on the ERT EMS channel.*

"EMS Command to Transport Command what is the eta to getting the red patients out of here?"

"10-4 I triage copys"

'I knew I was going to need a medic'

"Well, gotta figure out who's transporting first"

*I pick up the second radio with the PEMS freq active*

"Transport command to Phoxlind central dispatch, what medic units do you have on scene at the port?"

"EMS-2, 4, and 5 are medics, and are all on scene."

"10-4 thanks."

"Transport command to Phoxlind EMS 2, 4, and 5. I need you to transport reds. We have 5 reds at this time, should all be at treatment, treatment command will advise which you should take."

"EMS-2 Received"

"EMS 5 received"

"4 received"

*I pick up the ERT EMS ops radio*

"Transport to treatment command, got 3 Phoxlind medics coming your way to get some reds off your hands."


((4 black, 2 red (3 about to be transported), 9 yellow, 120 green, and 85 not found))

*I direct the PEMS medics to the two reds and a yellow.*

*I run to the triage area holding my firefighter and I gently set him down on a table.*
'Got you a red here guys. He's breathing normally but his pulse is weak last time I checked. I couldn't get much vitals since we were in a hurry. Possible minimal smoke inhalation though since he ran out of air in his bottle and had to take his mask partially off to breathe.'
*I start to remove his turnout jacket but my hands are still shaky and weak so I let the medics and other EMT's take care of it. I pat the guy on his chest after I take his helmet off for him as well as his mask and SCBA. I put them all down next to him as some guys take over and I go over to the MCU and sit on one of the steps. I take a deep sigh and take off my bottle, turn off my running air as well as my helmet and jacket. I get a bottle of water for me and Mitch and I just try to calm myself down a bit.*
"Rescue 1 to COPA, Mitch and I are at the triage area rehabbing so right now, we're not available for the next 7 minutes."
*I look at my watch and set it to go off in 7 minutes then try to rest while sitting down.*

*I approach with the family of 4.*

'Hey, they're all greens.'

((4 black, 2 red, 9 yellow, 124 green, 81 not found))

*As I carry my patient to the I yell out to the team.*

"Red here aswell, same problems as Hannahans pulse is weak and slowed respiration's"

4 Back 3 Red 124 Green 81 Not located

*I see Hannahan, Davis, and Daniels coming out*

*As Hannahan sets his victim down on the table, I listen to what he has to say. I pick up my radio*

"I need a medic unit by the command area. Firefighter, weak pulse, possible smoke inhalation"

*As Davis brings his group of green out, I point them over to the rest of the greens and go to Daniels.*

'Hey, same as Hannahan? Okay.'

"I need a second medic to the command area now, for another weak pulse, possible smoke inhalation"

'Alright Mitch, get another bottle and grab another high rise pack so we could help out P-11 with SAR.'
*I finish up my water bottle then throw it away then get up, stretch, and walk back over to the Rescue. I then get an extra bottle and get it on and get my mask on too making sure sufficient air is running through it. I motion for Mitch to come as I get myself ready to get on the boat also.*

*I arrive with my huge group of greens.*

'Alright, I've got 61 greens here. Tell them where to go.'

((4 black, 3 red, 9 yellow, 184 green, 21 still missing))

'I'll take care of these guys'

"Triage to EMS command, group of 61 green i'll send them to non-emergency transport"

*I walk over*

'If you all could follow me over here. we'll get you out of here'

*I take the group over to the buses*

'Wait here until someone says you can leave'

"Understood, advise the count now please? I just need to confirm"

"it's 4 blacks, 3 reds, 9 yellows, 184 greens, 21 missing"

"EMS Command to COPA, we have at this time 4 black, 3 red, 9 yellow, 184 greens and 21 missing. BREAK to Transport have we got an ETA on those buses to move the greens off scene?"



(Sorry guys schools starting back up and going through training for my new position at AMR so I'm trying to keep up with this as best I can.)

*I have now reached triage and am ready for orders to take care of patients*

"Medicman, help Doug. For now"

*I check my clipboard*

"I copy Triage Command"
*Start walking over to Doug and the patient he has. I put the patient on high flow oxygen, BP- 110/76, HR:58, Resp:12, Eyes: equal & sluggish to light, Skin: Warm and dry, Lungs: Clear & Equal bi-laterally.*
"I got a red one here"

4 Black 4 Red 9 Yellow 184 Green 21 Missing

(Alright we can start wrapping this up)

*After the 4 reds get transported by PEMS, I have additional EMS units start to take yellows.*

"EMS command we've got 2 school buses, and 2 city buses coming in"

"10-4"

*I watch as the buses come down and I point them over to stop by the greens. 40 fill up the first one, another 40 fill up the second, then 50 each fit in the last two*

"EMS to COPA, 130 greens just boarded the bus and are about to depart, and 3 yellows have been transported"

*I walk to the triage area and go over to Doug.*
'Hey Doug, you need help with anything here?'

(I counted the greens in my count above, Sorry, I forget to say that they came out. My bad. Nobody brought them here but FD was clearing the boat so I assume they were here unless you left some people behind lol)
'Hey, some more transport units should be back shortly to get the rest of the yellows, until then you can just can monitor them, make sure they're doing ok. I need to call the ME for the blacks. Should only need one or two more buses for greens too'

"EMS to COPA, can you notify the ME, have them come down here for four."

"Understood, I'll dispatch the van down there now"
*I load up the EAT app on my phone and request a coroner for four at the docks triage*

*I walk back to the RA and put my triage stuff back*

'Some call'

*I see the greens loading up on the two buses that just arrived and I grab my mic and key up.*

"EMS Command to COPA and all onscene EMS units, all greens are being transported. Lets get the 6 yellows loaded by PEMS medics 1-6 and they will transport them. Once they are loaded up all other units are to sstand by for the clear from COPA. BEARK to COPA, EMS reports all remaining patients being loaded for transport now, requesting permission to start cutting units loose."

*As I finish up helping PEMS load up yellows and see units leaving, I then pack my stuff up and head for the truck.*
'Alright Doug, nice working with ya for this short time but we're headin' out. See ya at the next call.'
*I smile and sigh a sigh of relief as we walk away. I make sure Cressler is with me as well as Mitch and I pack up all lights, the jumppad, as well as the pumps. I double check my inventory on my dusty clipboard and see everything is accounted for. I get in the truck as I see some PFD firefighters walking around taking hoses to and fro.*
'Alright Mitch, let's get home. I need some sleep.'
"Rescue 1 to COPA."

*I open the drivers door of the RA and turn off the lights, shut the door and walk to Cory*

'What's left to do?'

*Two trucks from the ME come up, I point them over to the blacks, they load them up and drive off.*

"ME has arrived, they have transported the blacks"

*2 PEMS trucks arrive back at the scene and go right over and pick up two yellows. I pick up the radio with the PEMS channel*

"ERT EMS to Phoxlind EMS, we got two of your EMS units down here. Just confirm the otehrs are coming back?"

"Affirm ERT, we have 4 more on their way back from the hospital"

4 YELLOW LEFT

(Ok 12 hours w/o COPA response.)

"EMS Command to all units and COPA, This scene is clear, all units back in service and EMS Command is terminated. BREAK RA1 to COPA, We'll be en route to trutit for the industrial accident."

*4 PEMS ambulances come pick up the remaining patients. I pick up the phoxlind radio*

"ERT EMS to Phoxlind Central Dispatch"

"Go ahead"

"We are clear from the port here. You can put your EMS units back on normal duties. Thank you everybody, great work"

"Central received. Thank you, have a good rest of the day"

"Thank you, you too"

*I walk back to the drivers seat, throw my vest back into a cabinet behind the drivers seat behind the console. I take the radio set to the phoxlind channels and put it back in a charger on the door between the box and the cab, then sit down, shut the door, and put the key back in. I press teh anti-theft button, and drive off. I pick up the radio off the clip*

"EMS-1"

"Go ahead EMS-1"

"Clear of the port"

"Received."

*I clean up the rig and then get into the truck and roll towards Trulit in case another med call comes up.*

"M5 to Dispatch, we're clear of the docks and available."
