Squad one on scene be advised we have broken guard railing. Okay Jansen and Davis start triage, Austin get a line on that leaking fuel." I say

"Copy Squad 1, advise of injruies"

"We've just started triage." I walk over to the broken guard rail, about 100 feet down a car is over turned on it's side. "DC I have a third car here, about 100 feet down. Austin come over here and help me."

"Understood, advise of units needed, I'll contact PEMS and request they be on standby incase our guys aren't enough."

"yeah be advised we will need at least 2 additional ambulances."

"Copy, ALS and BLS 1 please respond when ready."

"BLS-1 to COPA, we're still on scene, transporting momentarily, you can show us a 10-15 minute ETA."

"Understood BLS-1, copy that squad 1?"

I drive to the scene pull up and grab the jump bag and put it on the stertcher. I also put the EKG/defib on the stretcher and wheel it to the traige area. I see no patients.
"Let's get these patients out and into triage ASAP"
I run over to the car that is closet to me. Blood surrounds his mouth.
"Davis can you remove the windshield of this car?"

*I jump out of the truck and run over to Raven*
'What ya need sir?'

"Yeah I copy BLS 1 start by examining any yellow triaged patients. ALS 1 assist BLS 1. Alex get me some rope I'm going to go down tothe other car."

(Are you talking about me? My names Austin Remember?)
*I run over to the Squad and grab some rope then run back to raven*
'Hear ya go,be safe.

"Yes sir, Raven" I run over to the yellow triage and see a patient with blood on her leg "
"Maam can you hear me, tell me your name."
No response
Pulse is 140 and weak BP is 80/55. Resperations at 30 and she's in shock. I look at her leg and see a gaping laceration. I palpatate and feel she has a femur fracture. "Let's get this one ready for transport!" I say as I start an IV and ECG as well as oxygen. I see PEMS arrive and I yell "OVER HERE" 2 paramedic go over to me with the strecher and I say, "Femur Frauture plus laceration in her right leg. BP 80/55 pulse 140 and rseperations at 30. Patient in shock."
"Alright lets get going!" says one of the paramedics as they immobilze her and get her ready for transport. I hand them the chart and go over to the next patient.

'Ridgeback, I'm on it.'
*I run over to the squad and get out a windshield cutter.*
'Raven, should I put a blanket over him or just take out the winshield now?'

"Thanks Davis" I run over to the car and wait for the victim to be extricated.

Ridgeback need any help? I'm EMT.

((Yeah I done goofed it'll take me a while))
Cover the vic with your coat and extricate." I say as I hook up and get ready to rapel down to the car.

'Davis let me help!'
*I take my coat off and place it on the vic and then step back*

*I change the sheets on the strecher, and roll it back into the ambulnace. I go up to the cab, start the amublnace, turn on the lights, and head out.*

"BLS-1 is clear of ERT Hospital, en route to the MVA. Fire command from BLS-1, what's the status on the victims right now?"

*I look at all the Traffic backed up*
'Raven Should I call in the police for traffic control?'
*I say looking over the ledge*

(State police should be handling traffic.)

I get down and observe the car, which has started to smoke from the engine, "I have one critical and another DOA." I say "Throw down a hose." I say then pick up my lapel mike "DC 1 is there an engine or ladder available?"

Ladder one deploy down the road where we can acess the car, get ALS gear, extrication gear, and an extinguisher.

*we pull up on the scene and the q winds don i engage the parking break and put the ladder in park. hoping out and climbing into my harness*

"Bruce move the truck down there's a dirt road 200 ft from where I am. I can see the opening about a mile away."

'Hey lt. what am I doing this time? hehe'
*I look towards John*

"copy"
*i climb in the truck and put it in drive releasing the parking brake. and drive down the dirt road*
"the ladders in possition"

'Cory, get that ALS gear out. Jess help me with the hurst tools. Tim, get the fire extinguisher.'
*I say right before jumping out of the cab. I get out and open up the compartment with the hurst tools. I look down and see the third car in the enbankment.*
"Ladder 1 to Squad 1, is there a possibility of winching it back up?"
*I grab the spreaders and cutters.*
'Get the rams for me Jessica.'

"Not a chance, I need a 1 1/2 reel line and I need it charged, can you have someone feed it down to me?"

*I get off the truck with my ALS bag and grab a back board off the Ladder.*
'What do we have down there Lt.?'

'Hannahan where do u want me?'

'Got it'
*I grab the rams and follow the Lt.*

'Bruce, pull a 1 1/2 line from the ladder and charge it. Pass it to me when it's charged. Cory, Bruce, hold on.'
"Squad 1, we're charging the line now. Tell me when and how you want the extrication tools."

" LT ill grab the extinguisher" * I grab the extinguisher our of the compartment and make my way down the hill towards everyone else*

*i get the line and charge it and hand it to Hannahan*
'here ya go

'Thanks Bruce.'
"Squad 1 I'm sending the hose down now."
*I bring the hose as far as I can then start to feed it down to Raven. I feel the overwhelming power to drop it down but that poses a big danger so I don't. I gently lower it to him but quick enough that it doesn't seem slow.*

I grab the hose and start to hose down the car. "All right asses in gear I have one critical and one dead."

"10-4. We'll send you two down with a tool."
'Bruce, you strapped up? Jess, strap up. Cory, help Jess. Jessica, you're going down there. Get the fire extinguisher. Tim, help me get them ready. buckle them onto this rail here.'
*I start to fasten the harness rope to the guardrail to get ready to bring them down.*
"Ladder 1 to COPA, we're prepping two for extrication. Ladder 1 crew will proceed down to the car to help with extrication over."

" Got it hannahan"
* I help Jessica strap up and make sure everything is buckled*

" Matthews to ewan or hannahan, are you gonna need a stokesbasket and/or backboard?"

( feel free to god mod me, ill be gone til midday tomorrow ( east coast) )

*I grab a harness and help Jess into it and tighten down the straps for her.*
'Alright shes ready, I have ALS treatmnet zone set up up here for the critical.'

*I grab the fire exstinguisher and double check the straps*
'Good to go Lt.'

'Alright good Hutchison. Get 'em, hook up and go down guys.'
"Ladder 1 to Squad 1, we got two coming down shortly."
'Alright Jess, come here.'
*I hook up Jess to the support harness on the guardrail.*
'Alright you're good to go. C'mon Bruce.'

*I high idle the ambulance, jump out, and go around and retrieve the jumpbag.*

'Masto, this time I'll do initial treatment just since this call is a little bigger, but you'll still be working, just grab the chart for now.'

*I walk over to the extrication crew with the jumpbag over my shoulder*

'What do you need and where do you want us?'

'Well, hang tight for a while. I might need to borrow your backboard. We have one DOA and one critical down there.'
*I point down to the car. I feel bad as I see one person sitting there lifeless but try to get my head back in the game (lol High School Musical reference) after.*

*I look down to the car*

'Oohh. Well I'll get you a backboard. You need a collar or anything for the one your about to cut out?'

'Hey Lt. I can bring that backboard down with me now if you want, I can carry both the board and exstinguisher'

'Lt. is it fine with you if I steal McGuire from you.'
'McGuire come over here and stand by with me at the ALS tarp I may need you guys if he's bad off.'

'Alright Jess, do it. McGuire, we're using your backboard.'
*I grab the backbaord out of one of the comaprtments with ease and sling it around to Jess.*
'Here you go.'
