(This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands.)

Just an idea, but how about an air unit?

I might make more units if I get bored (or just post random vehicles that we might not be able to use).

I'm taking private pilot flight lessons, so I have a fairly large knowledge of flight. I could staff it as a pilot, if only we could get more EMS guys (and ones that actually stay with ERT, not stay for a week then never log on again).

Yeah, I know, but it's still nice to have the input for the vehicles themselves.

That's a good point; I should make department-specific units. This chopper was meant as a TAC helicopter, but I should make one for MEDEVAC as well.

I love that chopper! It's state police but they use it for so many things. I love Maryland.

Okay, to the SWAT chopper... Currently in my list for TAC units, wwe have a RRV, HRV, ORV, and a crowd control Truck... That's about 20 units. I will not staff a chopper until those four vehicles are staffed.

Same with EMS, I will not staff a helicopter until we have several ambulacnes... Right now, I want three BLS and three ALS rigs. Supervisor positon is filled, but considering he supervises 2 units, there is no need for him as of yet, so it's a reserve position. Ideally, I'd like to have 6 ambos in service, then I'd start filling a HEV and Medevac. After that, the MICU will be staffed by ERT personnel. Currently it is on loan to the hospital in Phoxlind as we cannot staff it at this moment.

Police, well I could do a lot more, same with fire, but I will not be putting in specialized units unless we have the basics put in. I built the current bases with accomodations for all this, but we can't start doing so unless we get the people, therefore please start recruiting... We all know people with similar interests. If you all invite two people that will stay, that's almost a full staff of current units.

I know that these cannot possibly be staffed, but I'm just making vehicles that we may or may not use. Some things that I post here might be completely improbable, but this is just for ideas.

You mean, make a MEDEVAC chopper? I'll probably make one of those next, but bear in mind that this is all on my time.

I completely understand and agree with your ideas Burke, but perhaps if we do reach those goals, we could just have on or two multi-purpose helicopters. The New Jersey State Police has these two helicopters, called NorthSTAR and SouthSTAR (NorthSTAR covers North Jersey, SouthSTAR covers South Jersey, and STAR stands for Shock Trauma Air Rescue), but these helicopters multitask. Until they are needed for medevac, they are on regular homeland security, patrol, transport, surveillance, and/or other police duties. They are staffed with pilots and I believe 2 flight medics (I may be wrong on the specific number of flight medics, but that's not too important right now).

Once there is a need for a helicopter, we could probably just do that since there's usually no more than 2 or 3 calls at a time.

((By the way, if anybody is interested, here is a picture of NorthSTAR:
