Possbile Arson at Fort Basio

"alright im on my way up."
*i grab my hand line and a hallogan bar and make my way up the steps to where davis is*

'OK Jansen, break this door down. I'm ready with my line.'

*I stand aimed at the door and begin to spray the walls around it.*

*once i get to Davis' position i stand ready behind him possitioning my hand line for intery*
'alright Davis when Jansen knocks the door down you enter and go right and knock the fire and ill go left. ok?'

'OK. I'm ready.'

I feel the door with my hand, its hot, so I get down and stand next to the door and break it open.

*I stand with my line ready with Bruce as Jansen breaks down the door.*

'Be careful guys!'

'Door is open, flames in the corner'

'Got it.'

*I spray the flames with Bruce.*

*as Davis enters the room spraying i enter right behind him, opening up my nozzel and soaking every thing making a quick knock of my side of the room, then i open up the fog to make sure that i got the hot spots*

'Thereá another jerrycan at the door, this is definiatly arson'

*I do the same until all the flames are out.*

'OK, next room.'

'how many rooms are on this level?'
*i pull my line out of that room and ready it by the next door*

'I don't know Bruce. I guess a few more maybe.'

'alrighty'
*i wait for Jansen to breach the next door*

I walk to the next room, check, and open it. 'This one is clear, we should check it with the TIC though'

'OK.'

*I get out the TIC and check the room.*

'All clear, next one.'

*i crawl down the hall feeling the next door*
'this door isnt hot lets check the room'
*i get ready by the door*

'one room left, its cold, no smoke. *I break it down* all clear, check it with the TIC'

*i walk in check all the rooms.*
'nothing in here'

"Entry team to command, 2nd floor clear"

'Copy.'

*I check the room with the TIC.*

'All clear, let's refill our bottles and head to the next floor.'

'alright'
*i make my way down the steps and out to the ladder and exchange my bottle*

I go to the squad change my bottle and take a sip water. 'Ready when you are'

'i guess as soon as davis is ready we can head back up'

*I grab some water and exchange bottles.*

'OK, I'm ready. Let's go to the 3rd floor.'

'Let's go' I say as I begin walking

'OK, watch it guys. Stay alert.'

*I climb up the ladder and enter the window. I walk up to the first room.*

'Guys, you know the drill.'

'First door is hot, and smokey, gonna break it down, watch it guys'

* Breaks door down *

" small fire at the end of the room "

'On it.'

*I pull my line into the room and spray the fire in the corner.*

'Its down, let me check with the TIC though'

* I check the room with the TIC *

'I'ts in the wall, let me pull out some wood boards'
* I break out a few wooden boards *
'Wet it down guys'

*I join the team with a pike pole as well as my scba on and start tearing up the walls too* ( feel free to pretend im there, ill be gone for about the next 12 hours)

'Got it.'

*I wet down teh hotspot.*

'OK, check it again. Then we can move.'

*I check the wall with the TIC*

'All clear let's move'
*I walk to the next door* 'Door is cold, no smoke, gonna break it down' * I open the door and check the room and then again with the TIC *

'All clear guys, I guess fire is out'

'We should check all the rooms though, just in case.'

'Yeah I know if you take the last door down the hall, I take this one and were done okay?'

'OK, on it.'

*I go and fell the door with the back of my hand.*

'Cold and nothin. We're done here.'

((Aren't there 4 floors?))

((yeah there is, sorry i was gone i was on duty))
*i start making my way up to the 4th floor*

(Sorry I missed sooooo much. Just came back from NJ)
*I get off the deck gun, put on my mask and bring up a set of irons and head up to the fourth floor.*
'Alright, I'm here.'
*I try to open the door but the doorknob is melted a bit.*
'Good thing I brought this. Do the honors Bruce.'
*I set my halligan into the stop of the door and give the axe to Bruce.*
'Hit it.'

'My door is also clear, let's head up to the 4th floor and help Hannahan and Bruce'

*i take the swing the axe and hit the hallogan bar and shater the door knob, then advance my way in the door i see a light haze of smoke, i check the walls with the TIC. nothing so i knock the window out to vent the room*
'alright next one hannahan'
((ill be gone for a while today, i gotta go work with my horse so just god mod me while im gone))

I got the 4th floor and check the 2nd door while bruce and hannahan are checking the first.
*I feel that its cold and open the door, check it with the TIC* 'All clear, Bruce you take the third door then we're done'

((im back))
*i crawl down the hall and feel the door, its warm. i ready my line while hannahan breaks the door down i move in and see a small amount of fire by the end wall where it looks like it traveled up the wall. i crack my nozzel open and nock the fire down*
'i need someone in here with a hook to open this wall to check for extention then we should be done.'

'Or I could just use my TIC.'

*I check the walls with my TIC, showing one hotspot.*

'There's a hotspot on the right wall. Let's hit it.'

((we have to open them anyways for over hall))
*i take my axe and slice into the wall so Davis can hit the hotspot*

'Thanks.'

*I spray down the hotspot with the fog nozzle.*

'OK all clear.'

*i pick up my axe, and drag my hose line down the steps and out side drain it then pack it back on the truck, walk over put my axe away. take off my pack and jacket and put the ladder back down, then go around raising all the out riggers and picking up the steel plates, then i go help the others pack there stuff up*

'Ok, looks like we're done.....did someone get the guy?!'
*I run outside and see the guy looking at us and walking away.*
'Uh uh...excuse me sir..' I yell to an MP.

'See that guy over there, he was the first one here when we arrived and he stayed smiling while he walked away from the building. He jogged to a safe point and stayed there with a grin the whole time. My point is....he might be the arsonist. Look at his pants. It's stained with gasoline.'

*The man looks at the MP and tries to run but the MP officer gets him.*
man: You got nothin'!
'Hey I'm no cop but... hey guys, how badly was that thing burnt? The jerry can.'

'one can was melted the other was intact'
*i help the squad crew pack there suply line, then go over to the pumper and help with there lines*
'Hannahan give me a hand when u get a chance'

'Ok sir, (talking to the MP) it's on the fourth floor. One is melted and one is still good.'
Alright thanks.
*The MP officer talks into his mic and other members come and start checking the building.*
'I got ya Bruce. Thanks man. Hold this part and i'll hold this part.'

*i finish helping Hannahan, walk over to the ladder and go around to all the compartments to make sure everythings in its proper place. i grab a bottle of water climb in the drivers seat. and wait for the rest of my crew and to be cleared.*
