Unknown fire

'Thanks Casey, when you're done, take down the third tree.'
*I get down to the trunk with the fire and keep spraying.*

*I run to the engine to get a chainsaw, and wait until hannahan is done spraying*

*I finish up the tree and move on to the next one. (When I said 'take down' I meant with a hose but yeah you could cut it down too.)*

*I set the saw down and finish the tree off.*

These trees are gonna need to be taken out anyways."

'Thanks Casey. Sadly, Davis has the biggest tree, can you help him please.'

*i run back to the ladder and switch the line from CAFS to water, and i realize my tank is running low*
"Ladder 1 to COPA my tank it at the quarter mark. can i get a suply from anyone?"
*i shut down my line till i can get water to fill the tank grab a chain saw, and start cutting down trees*

*I move on to extinguish another tree.*

'Just a couple more and we're almost done! If you need to Hannahan, attach a line to the squad and we'll refill the pumper later.'

*i finish cutting down the trees around the edge of the fire*
"Davis after we get this out can you refil the ladder off the Squads suply?"

'Sure. Just let me get this last tree out and I'll hook up a line while you guys overhaul the van.'

*I aim my hose at the last tree and extinguish the fire.*

'thanks bud'
*i grab my hand line and a hallogan bar. walk down to the van, rip the doors open, making my way around the van i open every thing up*
"Can someone grab the TIC" (Thermal Imaging Camera)

*I put out the last tree, walk over to the squad, and take out the TIC.*

'Sure, here you go. Let me check the van.'

*I check the van for hotspots.*

'I see some heat near the rear doors on the left side if you wanna wet that down.'

*i grab my hand line and soak it down*

'Alright, thanks guys. I'll bring the lines back and while you check the van, I'll check the woods with my TIC.'
*I bring the line back with me and get out a TIC. I walk back into where the trees where and start checking.*
"Woods are clear."
*I bring it back and help with the hotspots.*
'Davis, you see anymore of them?'

'No, not right now. I guess we could start cleaning up.'

*I disconnect my line and put it back on the truck. I allow the supply line to refill the squad and ladder. Then I put away the TIC.*

"This is Davis to Burke, all the fires are out and the van has been overhauled. Possible arson, you may need to investigate. Should I make a report?"

Are you OSC or in a commanding position? No. Haha. That's my fun. You ask me as your overhead if you can make the report, not Burke

3 Fire units responded to an unknown type fire. First on scene was a squad, which reported a vehicle fire into the brush. They began taking care of the immediate threat as the pumper and ladder pulled up a short time after. Knockdown was achieved in approximately 1 hour, No injuries, fire contained within less than a 100 foot radius of the vehicle. Class A foam and water used, and a search of the van was inconclusive for anything out of the ordinary.

I clean up my line and put it back on the squad. I put off some lights and get a bottle of water.
'Lt. are we cleared from the scene?'

*as the squads refilling my tank i pack my cross lay. then i take off my SCBA grab a bottle of water and wait for the tank to finish filling*

I put the TIC away and pack up the lines. I take off my SCBA and put it in the SCBA compartment backwards to know that it has been used. I take off my helmet and put it on the drivers seat and lean against the Pumper after turning off the lights.*
'Hey guys, remind me to refill the bottles...matter of fact...nevermind. I got it.'
*I refill the bottles. I then put them away and lean against the Pumper.*

*i disconect the suply line from the ladder and put it back on the squad, take off my jacket, climb in the drivers seat,shut down the scene lights and wait for us to be cleared*

((Yeah, sorry Garcia, I didn't know you were even in the call. I just got everything going until you guys took command.))

*I unhook and roll up my line, climb into the back of the truck, take off my jacket, and wait until we're cleard.*

I open the door and get into the Pumper, put on my seatbelt and wait for the Lt. and COPA.

"Command, when ready to leave, feel free to remove all but one unit from scene until the TSD investigator gets out there, just leave a copy of preliminary report with them and then you'll be good to clear by us"

'Lt., I could stay, but I don't know about everyone else.'
*I put the Pumper onto the side of the road and wait for a response from the Lt.*

*i put the ladder in gear, shut off my emergency lights and head back to the station*
"Ladder 1 in service returning"

Engine will stay. All units available.

'Copy that Lt.'

I wait for the guys to hop in and shut off the lights.

"Squad 1 available for call out" I say in the radio.

I drive back to the station

I hop out with SCBA and grab a hose and run over to the fire and shoot.

*I get out of the Pumper and shut off the pump and tank and yell to Galligano:*
'Dude, your putting that back yourself man! there's no fire anymore! haha.'
*I get back in the Pumper and turn it off to prevent the gas from draining.*
