"Copy that, S1 responding Code 3. We'll hook up the supply line when we get there."

*I throw on my gear and ride in the squad as Mitch drives.*

I hear the bells just before I put a juciy piece of steak in my mouth. I drop the fork and sigh. I run to my gear and hop into it. I then run and grab the handel to the pumper hop in and start the truck. I then wait for everyone to get in and I hit the light and pull out of the garage with the wail.

((Davis look at my post in the call area ))

**We arrive at the Fair and We all jump out. While everyone gets the equipment for the fire, I got get my SCBA on. I fling the SCBA bottle onto my back, check for Air, Pull my Balaclava up and put on the Face mask. I put on my Helmet and I Help everyone else**

((Yeah, I kinda forgot to post there. Too late now!))

*I jump out, grab some hose of the truck, and take out a hydrant wrech. I drag the hose over to the hydrant, then I connect some to the truck, and begin to supply water to the squad. Then I run another line to the pumper as a supply.*

"OK guys, we've got water."

*Galligano pulls the Pumper over and I jump out.* (Define firefighting resources, you mean SCBA bottles to other fireifghters or...)

((IDK...))

'Let's get some water on this fire!'

*I connect a line to the squad and grab it to start hosing down the fire.*

( full out mutual aide needed)

'Alright let's get this connected.'
*I get the supply line ready and hook it to a hydrant and pull a crosslay.I get my SCBA on and put on my mask.*
"We're parked on Apple blv. and the fire's approaching us."
*I get a shovel (since it's a bunch of grass here) and start digging a trench line in front of the fire and drag out a crosslay. I begin to spray the trench line and put out the fire.*
"How's that TVFD tanker doing? If, it's running out of water, I could hook a line to refill it unless there is a pond there."
"We could reach the top of the ferris wheel if we use our deck gun. Please advise."

Call em in Burke! I pull the brake and the truck exhausts. I throw on my SCBA and helmet. I roll up a door and throw a fast pak over my shoulder and run into the area.

"Davis you're with me, grab an extension ladder, let's start getting people down from the ferris wheel. Jansen and Mitch, cover our backs." I say and start to get one of the ladders from off the squad. "COPA, please respond a BLS unit for minor injuries. Ladder 1, set up your ladder adjacent to the ferris wheel."

*Just as I pull up to the scene I hear Raven's transmission.*

"10-4 Lt., how many do we have any people trapped up there?"

'10-4 Ewan, put up the ladder. i'll be there in a sec.'

*I pull my line over be the trucl, drop it, and run over to Ewan.*

'OK, I'm ready.'

Ropes and hooks might be better because we Dan damage the ladder if we get it too claw which we'd news to do

*After Collins gets the ladder in possition i get the outriggers down and start putting the Stick up*
"Lt. the ladder is in place"
*i say over the radio*

((Pn an iPod so I don't get the right spelling all the time)) Beard! You hear what I said!? Keep the ladder down. There's a chance we damage it. I say as a get ready to climb up the Ferris Wheel.

"We got at least 2 cars on the top, so bet on 6, we'll get the one's on ground ladders. "

((Galligano, those were my orders. I know what I'm doing but I like the fact you're thinking. But you don't use ropes in this case, ypu usually try and avoid ropes and civilians, they tend to not like it.))

Sorry, Ewan. I didn't see it. Well, I'll get ready and go up. I hook a belt on my waste and clump up to the turntable and prepare myself.

'10-4 Lt. Let's go Mitch!'

You mean me? Alright. I start climbing ip the ladder and move up to the top car. Damn! COPA this is Galligano. Some of the saftey bars on the cars are locked up. Tight too. What do suggest we do?

*I keep the fire back as it starts to retreat back toward the ferris wheel onto some bushes.*
"The fire is next to the ferris wheel now. I'm working on extinguishing it but it's toward the back of the ferris so you shouldn't need to worry about getting burnt guys."
*The fire goes out (the one on the bushes).*
"Alright, we got spot fires on the surrounding vegetation to the west."
'This fire keeps going but that's the way the wind blows.'
"Can I get someone to dig a small trench three trees ahead of me so the fire won't spread by ground?"
*I spray the vegetation and the fire hisses back at me whilst I spray.*

'I mean Daniels sorry.'

*I put on my field gear and grab a shovel off the ladder, "Hannahan I got your trench" I say running to where Hannahan told me to dig the trench. I dig and a spark lands in the grass behind me, I quickly put it out with dirt and continue to dig.

((whats a guy from the pumper doing going up the Ladder? Shouldn't that be reserved for Ladder crew HRES, and S&R?))

'Thanks Jack.'
*I put out the fire in one of the trees but then another catches on fire.*
'Crap.'
*I begin putting out the fire in the other tree.*
"This is the last fire in this area. Requesting permission to move onto the ferris wheel."

*I finish with the trench and see Hannahan spraying down a tree to my left thats burning alittle. I Walk back to the Ladder to put the shovel away and change into structure gear. I put on my Helmet flip down the shield and look up the ladder to see whats going on.

((Who is on the Ladder Galligano or Daniels and Jansen?))

((Me and daniels are back up for Raven and Davis))

((Okay thanks, but they are on extension ladders, so Galligano is on the truck ladder, right?))

"Alright, fire's out in this area. Trenches have been dug and are moist. I'm going to start the extinguishing the parts of the ferris wheel."
*I run to the part of the ferris wheel where the ladder is up and I look down and some fire is burning at the legs (the bottom of the ferris wheel) I start spraying it.*

*I climb up the extension ladder and enter the first car.*

'Hey, are you guys okay? We're gonna get you outta here.'

"This is Davis to Raven, the people in the first car are okay, but the bar is closed. We need to open it or cut it somehow. Jansen, we need to get some sort of cutting tool up here. Hannahan, keep pushing the fire back."

I yell down to Davis with my hands that I cupped. HEY, DAVIS!? Let's go with a K-12, eh? Galligano to truck company ground units, send up the K-12.

"Got it Davis!" I Run to the Squad and get a small battery powered cutter. I run back to Davis and climb up the ladder to give it to him. 'This should do the trick, anything else?'

I take the saw and start it up and start cuttin the bar

'Thanks, Jansen!'

*I begin cutting the bar to get the people out.*

'This one's done!'

*I bring the people down the ladder and make sure they're OK. Then I head back up the ladder and keep cutting open the bars until there's no one left on the farris wheel.*

"Davis to Ewan, everyone's down. I'm gonna help with extinguishing the fires."

*I grab the line that I put down by the squad and begin fighting the fires near the farris wheel.*

'Gotcha.'
*I keep pushing the fire back.*
"The fire's away from the legs now guys. There is still fire present at the bottom but it's clear of the Ferris wheel."
*I keep making sure the fire doesn't get by me. I spray every lit part of the grass and brush putting out fire's around me.*

((Are there even any medical personnal on scene? It doesn't say that they responded.))

*I continue spraying the fire by Hannahan.*

'Good job, just keep the fir eas far away from the ferris wheel as you can.'

'Shall I check over the persons who came down from the ferris wheel?'

'Yeah. That would be a good idea.'

"Aye Jansen, I'll get them down, you treat any injuries, if there are any severe ones let me know." I start up the ladder to the first car. Two teenagers are stuck in the seat. "Hello" I say, no one says anything. "Stay calm I'll get you out." And with that I start taking the bolt off the safty fixture.

*I keep the fire back. TVFD guys are also helping us keep it back.*
'Hey Davis, let's spread out, you get the right, i]I'll get the the left. I'll watch your back to make sure no fire passes you.'

I get the Trauma Bag from the squad and go to the 4 persons from the ferris wheel. The first 2 are alright the 3rd has some minor cuts.

'Hello Sir, Im FireFighter EMT Florian Jansen from the ERT, I noticed you have 2 little cuts'
'Yeah, can you help me with that?'
'Sure'
I get an alcohol swab to clean the cuts and the get 2 bandages an put them on the cuts.
'So your good to go'
'Thanks mate'
'No problem'

The last one is also alright and I grab my portable radio.
"Jansen to Raven, We have one minor injury, no transport, just 2 cuts. You want me to come your way with a neck collar?"

'Got it Hannahan.'

*I run over to the left side of the fire and hit the flames.*

"I'll request a BLS"

'Almost gone. Keep it up!'
*I kneel down to get the source of the flames and the flames begin to retreat again.*

"Copy that Raven, BLS-1 Please respond."

((I didn't send an ambulance there yet because it was unclear whether there'd be a unit from Trulit there, and if there wouldn't be, we'd still have several firefighters trained in medical treatment until a BLS could respond))

*I keep the lights on as I pull thru smokey haze into the fairgrounds. I follow the flames to the fire department and stop next to where I see some fire guys with a few civilians.*

"BLS-1 on scene."

*I step out, Cole grabs the clipboard, I walk around and get the jumpbag out of a cabinet and glance at the victims, then up to the ferris wheel. I begin walking towards the victims*

(Raven)
"BLS-1 to Raven, where on scene, do these 4 victims on the ground need treatment or transport, or have they been checked out?"

I see McGuire and walk to him

'Hey, these 4 have been checked out and one has 2 cuts and doesn't need transport. Rave has 2 trapped in a car he can use a hand there I believe'

"Check with Floria-" I get half way through my sentece before I see someone hanging onto one of the cars near the top of the wheel. "Ladder one I need your ladder!" I say and start climbing the cross pieces up."

I was attending to the patient and I looked at Raven. I then sprung into action, I get up and start up the ladder.

((I'm off from now, 5 days vacation, godmod me while i'm gone. Goodluck on the call))

I arrive hop out have Jiemeny and Domino get the tools and sterceher as I grab the defibrillator.
I run to the car in the ferris wheel.
