    ERT Call 16102010a
Emergency Rescue call for trapped and missing worker. Downed electrical wires

    Units or Task Forces onscene
    P-11, S-1. P-11. ALS-1, BLS-1.

    Call
Rescue call was made to us to respond to a trapped and missing person after a structural failure in a showroom. Fire hazard posed.

One thing I want to point out were that I did notice a lack of information at one point in the call, however otherwise, proceeded well. Another thing is that the TO for S1 was still acting and not the official one, therefore some members were confused. COPA will resolve to make this more clear in the future

Overall, it was good, I noticed very few problems.

I think it was pretty good. As you said, lack of detail was an issue.

Something else I've seen that I'd like to see changed is people always going "Can I do anything?" "What do I do now?" "Need Help?" right when they arrive. It's not anybody's fault, I just think that maybe when whoever is in command arrives on scene, he should give the people on his truck particular assignments, or at the beginning of the week post weekly 'jobs' for them based on their capabilities. For example (Squad 1)

    Daniels - Engineer/Primary medical treatment
    Davis (SAR)- primary extrication/SAR
    Jansen-Primary Suppression
    Raven (HRES)-SAR/Secondary extrication man/Command

Something like that. Of course, these all would vary from call to call.

I actually have that but have been meaning to post it.
