Weapons Raid

**I head out of my office to Unit 120, the unmarked vehicle. Unit 121, the command/response unit is ready with everything except a driver. If I need it, I'll radio for an officer to bring it out Code 3, but it shouldn't be likely. I put my gear on, selecting a UMP and a ballistic shield for my armor and armament. I will take point again when I enter the house.**

(Two notes guys, A, you would plan here, just for logistics sake, I know you've never had to do that before, so here is where it should be, and B, we don't have temp hires, and only police can drive the police vehicles. If 121 was needed, a police officer would have to go get it.)

"TAC advise of any additional required materials. We have the Warrant being brought to your garage now"

**I make out the plan for entry. After getting into the main foyer area, the entry team will divide into groups A and B, each responsible for moving into a separate part of the house.**



**I send the information via the EAT to COPA just as the warrant arrives at the garage.**

*Reading the plan, I mark it approved and wait for the notification they are en route*

I drive back to the police station. I pull in and I get out and walk over to the TAC garage. I then stand and I touch the speak button on my handheld "1135 to all units. I am ready to drive Unit 121."

(I just thought it wouldn't be that nice for someone in full body armour to drive. I'm here if you need me, just say if you don't.)

((The plan was to radio for an officer to drive it out. In other words, you would patrol until the call out for Unit 121; then you would hurry back to the station, get 121 and bring it to the scene. That way, you don't just sit around here.))

"Martins? Booth? Where are you? You should've reported already."

((I might've asked this before, but since we're going to be short one person, can we work with an ATF agent on this raid? That would make sense, since they would be involved in a big weapons storage raid like this.))

"Booth is in the van waiting"

*I say over the radio*

"Units prepare to move out when ready. If another unit is requested, I'll send Lafferty to meet you around the corner to gear up before going in"

(He knows his stuff, and I know it's not ideal, but it'll be better than someone that doesn't exist)

**I see Lafferty and Martins pulling in and I wave them over.**

'Hurry up! You guys aren't supposed to take this long!'

**Lafferty and Martins put their gear on and select their weapons. The plan is already posted for them to see. They get in the van and I pull away from the station.**

"COPA, TAC is rolling Code 1 towards the raid site."

((I was sort of waiting for acknowledgement. Oh well.))

**I pull up at the start of the block and order the team out. I get the shield from the trunk and move in front.**

"COPA, TAC is on scene."

**I take out the battering ram and hand it to Martins.**

'Martins, you'll breach the door. I'll be the point man. Booth, I don't normally ask you to do this, but can you take up the back end as we go in? You and Lafferty will be on B team. I will be on A team with Martins. We'll all move up slow on the house.'

**The team and I crouch, moving towards the house.**

'Sounds good boss, we're right behind ya'

*I slowly movie in crouching as we approach the door*

**I get in position with the team behind me. Martins has the battering ram, ready to swing.**

'Police! Search warrant!'

**I hear a whoosh and then a boom as the door comes down. I go in with my shield and submachine gun up, but the foyer/kitchen area is empty.**

"COPA, entry team is in the building."

**The rest of the team fans out behind me, covering every corner of the room. It is, in fact, empty.**

'Team B, take the left door. Team A moves right.'

'Team B moving into position'

*We take our positions at the door way and I check to see if its unlocked and it is, I then open it*

'POLICE' *I yell as I move in and we find a female and as we move in she screams and starts crying*

'On the ground now' *I aim my gun at her and she gets down on her knees facing away from me, I push her so shes face down on the floor and I pull out my cuffs and cuff her, Room Clear'

"This is booth I have the girlfriend in custody room is clear, moving out to the lawn"

(So I wasn't aware I was on this call. hmmm)

'Right Behind you Booth'

*I follow Booth*

(haha thats fine that's why I just made it nice and quick)

"Booth to COPA could we have a unit for transport either PPD orr ERT: PD?"

'Mam do you have any ID?'
'Inside the house'
'Okay then will you be truthful with me and tell me your name and DOB?'
'Sure its Donna Simmons 10/23/74'
'Alright, Dave could you watch her for a sec?'

*I walk away and grab my portable mic*

"Booth to copa also could you run a name for me? Its Donna Simmons, DOB 10/23/1974"

'Yeah go ahead. I got her'

*I watch over her and also watch Booth's back as he walks out*

**I open the door to the master bedroom with Martins behind me. A man is sitting up in bed, looking very tired. There's a Glock on the nightstand on the far side of the bed; I move around to the other side.**

'Put your hands up! Don't even think of going for that gun. Hands up! Up! Up!'

**He seems too tired to understand what's happening. I pull his arm and drag him out of bed, securing a handcuff to that wrist. He tries to pull away, but Martins holds him in place while I handcuff the other arm.**

"COPA, suspect in custody."

**I motion for Manuel to wait at the bathroom door so that we can quickly check it.**

(Ok i lost my net connection in a couple of days and the call is almost complete....)

'Waiting for you boss.'

**I set the supsect down.**

'I'm behind you; open it up!'

"Understood, advise of additionals"

((Martins, get your internet fixed.))

**Martins kicks the door open and goes in, with me following right behind him. The room is empty. I look behind the shower curtains, but there is still no one there.**

"COPA, the house is clear. Collapse the perimeter. We're going to see if we can find the weapons cache."

'Hey Dave I'll watch him you can go help the Lt.'

*I watch the perp while I call PPD dispatch*

'Alright'

"LT, do you need any help?"

*I wait for the LT's reply*

'This place looks way too empty, for a place that's supposedly storing weapons. Help me move some stuff around; I have a suspicion that they might be hiding guns in closets that are blocked by furniture. That bookcase in the front area looks like it's blocking something.'

"Understood, alert of any findings"

'You got it LT'

*I push ion the bookcase and manage to knock it over*

'My Bad'

*I say trying to act cool*

'Don't worry about it. The feds are probably going to seize the house and everything in it.'

**There's a little handle in the floor. I pull it up; there is a little cubby that was dug into the ground. There's a bundle of marajuana and several crates. I pull one out and open it. There are lots of ammunition drums for a machine gun.**

"COPA, we've managed to locate a bundle of marajuana and a large quantity of military-grade weapons accessories. Hundred-round ammunition drums."

'They will never learn'

*I look over at the subjects and just shake my head*

*PPD finally arrives and I hand my suspect over to PPD, then I walk into the house*

'Lt. PPD is here are you done with your suspect so we could hand them over?'

((Am I still an LT? I thought I was promoted. Maybe its because the little signature thing is outdated.))

'You can bring it out; let me just talk to the city cops.'

**I go outside to find a few PPD cars and one unmarked car. A person steps out wearing an ATF jacket. I speak with the ATF agent and a PPD sergeant.**

'Alright guys, I don't know how much you know, but the occupants of the house were arrested for illegal sale and purchase of weapons. This house was raided before for drugs, but we were able to find an additional bundle of marajuana and several crates of ammunition drums - about a hundred round capacity. We don't know where the guns themselves are; maybe they were already sold. I would say keep an eye out for any kind of high-powered guns on the streets. Those drums of ammo looked like they were for machine guns, so we need to be careful on this.'

(I changed it all, must be a cache log. I'll delete that now soon)

*I grab the male suspect by the arm I help him up and walk him out to a seperate PPD car and I hand him over to the cop*

'Here you go officer another dirtbag off our fine streets'
'another added to the list I have it from here, Thanks'
'Thank you'

*I walk back to the truck and put my assault rifle in the back*

*I return my gear to the truck*

'You know Booth, I think i'll let y'all take care of the tatical stuff. I feel more vunerable in all that gear then I do on the road'

*I say laughing as I walk back to where Bucello is standing*

'Anything else you need Boss?'

'We're good right now, thanks. I have to say, you did really well here. Raids for weapons are generally the most dangerous, so you did a real good job of keeping a level head. Hopefully, we'll have our ranks bolstered by the time we're needed again, but if that doesn't happen, we might ask for you.'

**I put the equipment in the unmarked van and open the door for Booth and Martins.**

"Unit 120 clearing. Phoxlind Police have the scene."

'I Like both but I feel more vulnerable on the streets Dave'

'Thanks boss, another good raid'

*I jump in the van and take a seat and grab a water and drink some*
