TAC Personnel Report

*I march out of the COPA Office very visibly pissed off and storm into the meeting room waiting for TAC to assemble*

* i walk in very timidly noticing that the commissioner is pissed, and take a seat *

*I walk in and sit by DC with a file and some papers.*

*I walk in and take a seat also mad that I was the only RRT unit and TAC unit on scene*

(I'm going to take away everyone's chance to have their own entry, now everyone was modded to this room)
'Alright, so I assume you all know why you are here... I gave you a pretty simple operation, get your gear, stage and storm a couple drug dealers in a gang the FBI has been after for 2 years. I didn't think it was hard. And then you let them get away. Understandable... Oh wait, no it's not, considering you guys never left staging!

First of all, no one bothered to really respond, which is a piss off enough. We had 4 active TAC members before they got away, and no one was on scene. Explain that please.
Secondly, for the people that were on scene, active, or anything else, why didn't you do something, instead of sit there for a week. You were given orders for an OIC, and you shouldn't need orders beyond take them out. If you don't get orders in a reasonable amount of time, you handle it then under standard protocol.
We had people storming a house...? It was vehicles...
Fourth, we had three police officers on scene that were to be used to at least secure the place, and they weren't given orders to do anything, or did anything... That's kinda bad..

So what's the reason for this? do you need more training, what?'

'the officers were going to be going in after tac to backup and secure the area, but TAC never went in.'

'Then someone should've made a call. We currently just screwed up a HUGE part of this operation, they're long gone now, and we're set back a far ways'

'we really only had 2 days for it considering you had us all stand by since last friday we staged on sunday and then we didn't actually move into the scene until tuesday night early wednesday and no one told me I was alone with RRT, and you called the op off on friday so its like 2 and a half days'

The call was dispatched on the 22, I cancelled it on the 29, 7 days. I don't care how long each part had... If it was a huge op, and it was active, I would've been fine, but it was a small op, bust a couple guys dealin, and it took over a week to get moving. I didn't have anyone standby, the call was to go, stage, arrange, and then go. Not wait for COPA to give walkthrough orders... So it was cancelled since it barely moved. Why didn't it move, because of lack of training, or lack of people, or people didn't know what to do or what?

'Lack of people, confusion are the main. Started with lack of tac, then it fd up the plan so we just started too take over with patrol when I contacted you.'

'I was confused honestly, It said 2 vehicles involved one hasn't moved and it never said if we were taking the cars down or a house, so yea I would've been more active if I knew exactly what i was doing'

If you think about it, on the warrant, the only active people were Bucello, Booth, and me. I think that before you add another truck we need to be able to get a full active truck.

Maybe we could do something where they are patrol officers/swat officers like in my city. So if we get a TAC call they goto station and suit up. This way they stay busy while not needed, but will still do the same job as on TACand more importantly we can tell they are still active. Of coarse wait for Bucello to meet about this.

(Please note, I'm not actually pissed, jsut disappointed, I'm RPing being pissed)
We have double function officers now, you're expected to patrol 50% of the time when on duty and not at a TAC call. I think we need to do some joint police force training

I think first we need to set out guide lines so people know there duties. The only TAC officer I've seen patrol was Booth and he is by far the most active from what I see other than Bucello.

Bucello is OIC, so he doesn't patrol as much, and isn't expected to, but the rest should be patrolling.

I know that, but maybe we could write up some job descriptions/ guides just giving detailed idea of what is expected, etc.

Shouldn't be to time consuming.

And really, we need Bucello for TAC ops because we only have 2 fully active tac guys and he knows the tac stuff/more interested in it to be tac oic.

Another thing, we should have briefings before warrants, etc. Create a topic (ex. 073111 Charlie Briefing) that is completly for planning and questions so people know what is going on before on scene.

Okay, so I'll do a breifing to last 24-36 hours, then the call starts, and you guys will be expected to do it well! Still want a training session?

(i like libors idela thats what they do in real life unless it's like a warrant they just got and they have to take it right away they'll do a day or to of surveillance and everything.)
