SEV-1 Training

Scene:
A collapsed ranger tower station with three entraped rangers in amongst the debris and brush. Once you find a patient, rescue them and bring them to the orange marker to recieve treatment(actually they'll just be sent home to their real lives then). Scene on training strip. On scene personnel, TEC Support 4, General safety officer (general staff, just ognna watcha nd be god modded by me or McEvoy) SEV-1 and S1C

TRAINING CALL

*I hear the call to report for training so I walk out into the bay and grab my turnout gear and throw it in the back seat and hop in the driver seat first time driving this thing.*
"Sev-1 en route to training"

I walk down with moon and get ready for the call. "Alright guys, this should be pretty simple. Karrignton you guys will be main searchers, I will be with you and be there to provide treatment and movement of the rangers." After pulling my bunker pants on I throw my jacket into the passenger seat. My helmet is already on the dash of the SEV. Karrignton also jumps in with me at the same time. Moon pulls out of the bay after honking the horn twice. I position the EAT so that I am comfortable, and look at the surrounding area's maps and satellite images, as we drive to the training.

"COPA show SEV-1 on scene and in training"
*I hop out and look around*
'guess chief isn't here yet oh well lets gear up'
*I walk to the back seat and grab my gear and throw it on*
'Hey karrington you got lead once chief gives us our orders'

*I check the monitor and radio the SO, he says they're in place but McEvoy still is pulling up, I give him the go ahead to give the orders*
*BOSS GODMODDING OF THE GENERAL SAFETY OFFICER*
*I step out of my truck and yell out to the SEV crew.*
'Let's get going guys, there's two in the debris I think, but one is still missing. We've got one trapped by wood and a possible trapped by metal. The other one is probably somewhere over in those bushes' I yell to them while pointing towards the brush on the edge of the strip.

'Rodger, Hey Daniels go look in the brush while we get up in here. Karrington it looks pretty safe I mean it can't collapse anymore so you take the right side I'll take the left side. man this is the same reason I want us to get a SAR dog but oh well we'll go diggin'
*I garb a light off the truck and head up into the debris field.*
'Ranger you in here can you hear me?'

(It can collapse more, any time you move debris, there is the risk of it falling back down, either on you or a victim. Note for final marking of training)

(I meant at the current stage without moving stuff it appeared we could walk on it becuase it looked settled. Of course moving stuff changed the whole thing it's like a sketchy game of jenga)

*I continue up the debris shouting and looking under the pile to find the ranger*
'Sir can you here me ERT:FD were coming for you hang in there.'
*Just then I hear something coming from just up ahead of me I walk a little father and shine my light down into the hole I found the one ranger.*

'Sir do you have any pain or injuries I should know about?'

Ranger: 'No I just can't fit through the hole to get back up.'

'Okay I'm going to give this a push and I need you to climb out and get behind me because once your out and I try to put this back down it could settle different then it was.'

Ranger: 'Okay wil-co'

*I put my back up against the rubble behind me and give the other side a good push to open up the hole while the range crawls up. Then I slowly let it all settle back down.*

'Okay follow me i'm going to take you back out the way I came in'

*I lead the ranger back down the pile to the treatment center.*

'Hey guys I got one out tell me if you need help finding your two'

(I'm gonna let you two find them unless you ask for help I'll be sitting at the truck)

*I get out of my truck and watch*

*I overhear the evac order from COPA and a request for a list of injuries. I think to myself wow whats going on over there. I hop in the front seat and grab the mic*

"COPA come in this is SEV-1 we can report to the docks for man power if needed."

"That's a negative for now, continue with training, if McEvoy feels there should be a response, we'll ditch the training and move to the docks, right now we're just sitting on a burning boat, not much left inside for us anyways."

"Rodger"

(didn't plan on being cleared to come just felt like saying something haha)

I walk in the opposite direction of Moon, looking for the ranger. As I walk past the actual towers base, I think I see a hand or some skin. I walk over with the ALS bag on my shoulder and move some debris. A little falls as I remove it, but isn't too much. I grab the radio on my turnout jacket and radio all of the guys. "Guys, be careful the debris is a little unstable stay safe." As I remove more debris I eventually come to where the ranger is. He is alright he just couldn't get out of the hole. I give him a quick check and allow him to wait as I radio COPA. "COPA, this is Mitch Daniels, I have another ranger. Please update status of found rangers two 2. SEV-1 Out" I help the ranger back to the treatment centre and radio the others. Guys we have found one more. One left" I continue the searh

(just reminding haha not a big deal here but if were ever in a Mass Casualty situation it could make things very confusing)

*I take off my helmet it and rest it on the dash.*
'Daniels Karrington hows it coming.'

*I decide to throw my gear back on and get back in there. I head over towards where I found the other ranger it's the only place they haven't been yet. I look up and back farther in the bushes I see the last ranger. I call out to him but no response. I make it over to him and he tell me he has two broken legs. I walk to the treatment center and have them give me help with the stokes basket to get him to the marker.*
'Okay guys that is everyone lets get back to the station and listen to some of this coverage of the boat fire.'
*I hop in the drivers seat while everyone else hops in.*
"Sev-1 to COPA training done clearing to station."

(since this is training I didn't wait for a clear order correct me if i'm wrong.)

((I don't know on that one DC might help us with that. ))

I hop back in and drive back to the station with the guys.

(I'll take the getting yelled at if its coming like I said i'm not sure we'll see I guess)

(Nah, training you can just assume you're cleared, if this was dedicated training with like a COPA rep watching live, then yeah we'd clear you, but techincally I'm more focused on the exploding boat than the SEV crew rolling in rubble )

"Copy, marking SEV-1 as in service"

(haha yeah i figured COPA had some more important stuff anyway)
