Phoxlind Foods

A basic but pretty big grocery store. Used for buying more things than the regular gas station area can give you.

*We pull up and put the truck in park. I jump out and close the door behind me, leaving my jacket behind. I walk into the store, get everything I need, pay for it, and come back out intently listening to the radio while doing so. I get to the truck, pack everything in the back, get into my seat, then we drive off.*
'Well, that was easy hahahaha.'

* We pull into the parking lot of Phoxlind Foods and Casey parks us outside the front entrance. I grab a portable and step out. *

' Alright guys im gonna grab some basic things in here, stay close incase we get a call, Everybody has their portable's yes?. '

* I get a cart and start walking through the isles *

* I walk behind Floan keeping an eye out for some ham and sweet baby rays BBQ
'So what are ya lookin for?'

' I dont know they said at the station they were already cooking dinnder but tomorrow im thinking BBQ WOOHOO lol so maybe some ribs, chicken and definatly some oatmeal and Grape nuts for Breakfast lol. '

* I continue up and down the isle with Jack looking for the food. *

' Hey Jack do me a favor and get Lt. Hannahan 1 of Everything on the menu here i guess lol im gonna run to the pharmacy and get him some Pepto. '

* I walk down to themeat dept and get 20 or so T-Bone steaks and 6 packs of chicken for BBQ, then i get some brown sugar, Oatmeal, grape nuts, ketchup, Ginger, Sugar and some Pepto. I go through the check-out, pay and then walk out to the truck. *

" Pump-11 Commandto Pump-11 Crew I'll wait for you guys in the truck, take your time and get what you guys need. "

* I look over and see the rest of the guys come back outside with their carts. I help them load the goods in and we all climb aboard to head back to the station. *
' Everybody in?, alright Casey take us back home. '

* I put my headset on and feel the truck pull away, we pull out onto the street and head back to the station. *

*I head inside*
Cashier: Morning sir
'Mornin''
*I head to the refrigerator section and grab some OJ and go check out*
Cashier: Will this be all for you?
'Yup!'
Cashier: ok, that will be $2.75
*I hand the cashier the money*
'hear you go'
Cashier: Thank you very much. Come again!
'I will, thanks!'
*I say walking outside to my car, get in and head home*

**I go from aisle to aisle, looking for something small that I can get to celebrate my assignment to OIC. Not seeing much, I go to the bakery section and notice a red velvet cake.**

Me: 'How much for the small red velvet cake?'
Baker: 'About $6.50. Did you want it personalized or anything? We can put a name on it for another dollar.'
Me: 'No, I'll take it as is.'

**I take the cake. The baker puts a sticker on the top that marks the price as $6.50. I pay at the register and go home.**

I park my POV and walk in, I get myself a pizza and some energy drinks, then I walk up to the cashier

'That's all Sir?'
'Yep'
'Okay, that will be $9,65'
I hand him the money
'Thanks Sir, have a nice day.'
'Thanks, same to you'

I walk out and go home

*I pull up front and park my truck in the red zone in front of the store in case I have to run out quick. I then walk over and grab a cart. I walk inside with a grocery list with my recipe for chicken cordon bleu's. I get all I need and get in line. I then remember I forgot diapers, so I hop out of line quick and run to go grab them. I then walk back to the line and grab myself a rockstar and a dieselpower magazine. I then get to the cashier.*

Him: 'Hello, how are you today sir?'
'Im good how are you?'
Him: 'I'm good'
'Thats good.'
Him: 'So I see you work for the almighty ERT Fire.'
'Yes I do, you into Fire stuff?'
Him: 'Yeah I'm currently going to college for fire science and I work at Trulit VFD.'
'Ah nice. You work often?'
Him: 'Not recently, but I should see you around if I work with you guys on a call. Your total is going to be $234.65.'
*I slide my debit card and put in my pin, I then look at his name tag to remember his name.*
'Well thank you Frank. Have a nice day, stay safe out there, and I'll see you around.'
Him: 'Same to you Mr. McEvoy.'

*I walk out of the store and push the cart to my rear passenger door and I open it and move my HRES bag. I then put in the groceries and head to put the cart back. I then walk back to my truck and hop in and drive off to the auto store.*

*I move the EAT twoards me while the call is being dispatched.*
'Huh, got a call. Haha, I hear they're picking the new TO soon for the truck.'
*As mitch takes up three spots (which is normal), unbuckle myself and take off my headset. I put my button down shirt on since I wanna look good for the crowd and we get out. I close my door go over to the drivers side compartment and place chocks under the wheels. I then go inside of the grocery store. I get a text from Cheryl asking if we could go out tonight. I text her that is okay but its last minute but to not worry about it.*
'I got me a date.'
*I take a shopping cart and start shopping for stuff while listening on the dispatch channel just in case something happens for us.*

As we finish up, the total comes to $58. I then pay the food bill myself on my debit card (lol, yea, I don't trust credit) and take the stuff out of the store with Moon and Mitch helping me. I move the chocks and store the food in the rear seats on the ground and we leave.*
"Rescue 1 returning to station."

'We stop quickly at the store and I go inside myself already knowing what to get and I pick up 2 gallons of milk, some eggs, cheese, beef, black pepper, and juice. I bring it to the cashier and i t comes to $5.80 after massive coupon hording in my pocket. I grab some more coupons and leave the place putting the groceries back in the rear of the truck next to Moon.*
'Got some eggs in there, don't mess it up.'
*I say then close the back door and get back in my seat.*
'Any calls I missed?'
*I put on my seatbelt, turn the radio on some hippedy hop and put on my headset all with my hand out the window but still touching the door.*

*I park outside and walk in. I get some stuff so I can actually cook something tomorrow, and pick up a HungryMan for dinner. I pay the cashier and head out.*

* We pull up into the parking lot, Casey brings us to a stop just outside the entrance and puts the hazard lights on. I open my door, step out and close my door. Jack jumps out as well as Eli, casey stays in the truck and the three of us walk into the Grocery store. *

' Ok guys split off and find some Oven Mits, i want them ALL andi mean them ALL everything they have in the back everything on the shelves, take them from peoples carts for all i care, just get them all. '

* I get a cart and start walkingtowards the meat section. I grab several steaks and some veggies then start looking for the rest of my crew. *

(Seriously guys?!)



(P.S. I love RPGs I can see everything you do. LOL!)

* I meet up with my crew at the checkstands, we go through the checkout and they manage to scrounge up a cartfull of Oven Mits, I get myself through the checkout and add a bottle of Chocolate sauce along with the steaks. after everything is tallied up the total comes to 147.56. I swipe my credit card and we all start walking out to the Engine. all of us are looked at like martians since we are sporting several bags full of oven mits. I just smile and keep walking knowing the impending doom that awaits 1 unlucky person. *

' Alright guys lets move out. '

* We all climb aboard the Engine as Casey starts to laugh openly at the stuff we bought.*

' Alright Casey lets go home. '

* He puts the Engine in gear and we head back to the station. *
