Re: Station layout Contest
I actually have the official draw up saved on a jump drive at my house, so what I'm going to do, is look at all the submited public ones (posting the picture here) and rank based on realism and how close they are.. The shape on the map is more or less the actual shape of the building.
I am also in the process of putting together a 3D building and posting the layout of the structure for viewing, so this adds as a nice little run in.

Re: Station layout Contest
Well two things, first of all, I can't judsge realism, and no one can see them except you, therefore defeating the point of a contest

Re: Station layout Contest
your rules don't make sense. anyways, i substitute your rules and replace them with my own.M. Galligano wrote:I'm guessing nobody cares about the rules? It says DO NOT! post your pictures in the topic.
1.) post pics.
2.) post pics.
3.) no1 gets anything cause this is an rpg. it smells like spam in here.

Re: Station layout Contest
Galligano, I'm going to stop this now before you do anything, okay?
I asked for the pictures to get posted here so I can judge them as well. That's that. If you're going to get upset I asked that the pictures get posted here, then I'll just end the contest all together. There is no need to create an issue over a non issue

Re: Station layout Contest
Nice, 2 questions, one DC1 is at the main building and one at Fire Station 1? And what are SV-1 and SV-2?

Re: Station layout Contest
DC-1 is me... Any units that don't have a department can be assumed belong to building, and I'm DC-1... The Dep Chief 1 for fire is at station 1.. If he was at HQ he'd be FD-DC1...
SV one and 2 are SEV 1 and 2. It's an older map, from the old ERT, therefore, something were slightly updated. Same thing, a fire support and rescue support truck. just slightly different abbreviations
