Vote for State
I don't know what idea you got from the title, but I hope it's something like mine. Seeing as the ERT isn't actually placed in a state, I was wondering if we should vote to see which state people would like it to be in. Plus if your wondering what use this would be, it is because that you could include real agencies and things in RP and RP related stuff.
I vote Tennesse, not sure why.

lol +1 . I like you're thinking Botfish.
I actually really don't think it should be in any state. Just give it that "Anytown, USA" type of thing so that in can be kept completely fictional.

Re: Vote for State
The reason Why I didn't picka state, was mainly to keep all the agencies fictional. We have a State trooper, just referred to as the State trooper.
We're not so far south that we never get any snow, but we're also no so far inland that we don't get to use a harbour... I'm thinking we're more around either one of the great lake states, or one of the eastern sea board states
Mcguire raised my point just then, because I could've said we were in a certain city or state, but this way we get to have our total freedom, so we can say, YES this is our laws, and YES this is our city, and it is expanding as such. I would not be totally against if you guys wanted to come up with a fictional state name though, I mean, I'd actually like that

It doesn't matter really, I think of us as in like a place in North Carolina or something, with forests but a lot of urban and open land, right on the coast.

Re: Vote for State
Everybody's ideas on where it is is exactly why I think it should be fictional. That way, Phoxlind/Trulit can have anything weather-wise, all kinds of people, it can have mountains, city, volley town, water, forest, and highway. This way, it can basically be wherever we personally want it to be, because with the range of just about everything about the Phoxlind/Trulit map, it basically suits everybody.

Re: Vote for State
Libor just earned himself a promotion to lieutenant for that one... Seriously
Also, I based the Phoxlind area off of St. John's Loosely actually. We've got the urban area, with loads of woods, the sheltered harbour, the smaller town area, and that thing. I personally vote we should leave it just some nameless fictional place, since we do experience types of weather, and plus if it's fictional, then we can do anything from earthquakes to wildfires, to snow storms. If we said south texas, no snow, if we said a state with no faults, then no earthquakes, if we said a state too urbanized, no forests.
It's really up to you guys in the end, but I just wanted to put out my personal opinion

Re: Vote for State
Yeah really, the place limits events that you can have. Desert area, no fun urban hostages or anything. Fictional place, you can have anything you want; earthquakes, brush fires, bombs, everything! Let's just leave it as a place that's unknown, makes things a lot easier!DCBurke wrote:Libor just earned himself a promotion to lieutenant for that one... Seriously
