Fire truck sims
Does anybody know where I can find a fire truck driving simulator without buying an actual machine? Or isn't there any?

Re: Fire truck sims
Without buying the actual machine? There probably isn't one.. .I'd best suggest pick an open ended driving game (ie GTA IV for example) and mod it heavily, possibly with already made mods if the game is popular enough

Re: Fire truck sims
Depends on what you do lol! Anyway, i have the same problem though. I would want one too but the only realistic firefighting game is that feurwehr simulator game and I can't understand a word it's saying.

Re: Fire truck sims
I agree with Burke. GTA IV probably is your best driving simulator as far as emergency vehicles go.

Re: Fire truck sims
While we are on the topic, maybe people could make a list of firefighting games out there?
I've actually been looking for some new ones to play, but the Emergency-series seem to be the best ones...

I use GTA IV with mods to make the lights much better haha. But GTAIV is annoying because everything just freaking disapears after a while like hte roads and everything lol

That's why it should stay on regular platforms...other than PC haha. I do like the PC mods though. I wish they made one for GTA IV on PS3 or Xbox 360.

Re: Fire truck sims
Ha I have been looking to, if only Rockstar would make a game with the engine of GTA but for emergene services. You could get a job as like an ambo driver police officer or firefighter. I know you can now but these would be primary functions of the game.

If only the rest of the world wanted a fire fighter sim :/ I don't think Rockstar would do it for the lack of a market.

Re: Fire truck sims
lol, very true. I remember the first day I ever rode on my ambulance, we had 16 calls. This is pretty much what I was thinking.
Call 1: YES! MY First calL!!!!!
Calls 2-5: F*** Yes! Another one
Calls6-10: Well, we were trying to eat, but fine.
Calls 11-14: Walk it off
Calls: 15-16: ARE YOU F***ING SERIOUS!?!

Yes, but you can download a trial or receive a trial CD, which is free! I didn't get it yet. On the other hand, I haven't been on EMP in ages! I'll be on tomorrow!

Re: Fire truck sims
Flame Sim is a training simulator for fire fighters. The department needs to buy it with their registration of being the Fire Department. It costs about 2-3000 dollars and is a computer program requiring a(an) XBOX360 controller. http://www.flame-sim.com/

Re: Fire truck sims
Flame Sim is just what I'm looking for in a firefighting game! Too bad it requires an Xbox-controller, haven't got one of those. It's also too bad that it isn't really intended for recreation, but rather simulation, so the price is high and there is probably more about educational challenge than entertainment.

To use a Xbox controller on the PC you need the Xbox controller that uses the USB plug.

Re: Fire truck sims
No game is uncrackable. Can you crack it? For sure, Adobe CS gets cracked every version, and it sell for twice what this game does, so it obviously can be done, however is it done? Probably not, since the pirate community couldn't care less about this game more than likely. Ask around though
