    TAC Cars Empty TAC Cars

Post by DCBurke Sat Jul 24, 2010 4:52 pm

Currently I'll list the two that'll more than likely be used for now. TAC Will only respond to small scale incidents for ERT (such as High risk entry, etc) or assistance to major calls with city SWAT until we have enough staff for a bearcat.

    As it stands:
    TAC Cars RRTspec

This is the rapid response truck. This car rolls out within 2 minutes of the alarm and is on scene. They get call brief and show up to secure the scene etc. The rest of the team hangs back and goes through a plan. RRT is also a backup unit. This will never serve as main unit for the major calls.

    TAC Cars ORVspecs

This is the Officer Response Car with the TAC Captain. It has a secure room in back which an on site meeting can take place when a MCC cannot be set up due to terrain or risk.

    TAC Cars Hr-1
This is the Heavy Rescue Vehicle. Named appropriately since it weighs several tons and it is a rescue truck. It has a secured inner body and is used to go right up to, and in some cases through the front door.

    TAC Cars T-1pd
This is the Truck one, used for riot control, with two front facing cannons fully rotative and one rear cannon also fully rotative. Fully armoured. The reason for a weird tank value is becuase this is a european made truck, which is measured in litres. 12,000 litres is 3170 gallons.

    TAC Cars Bridwell
This is the personal response unit for Tac Officer Bridwell

Actually, I do believe one of the personal response vehicles is a red 2010 mustang with an ERT police package. I'll have to check our technical upgrades centre, but I do believe so Wink

oh baby looks good but, mabie the riot vehicle should be joint opperated with patrol in a event of its deployment due to staffing issues with tac.

The Riot vehicle will not be permanent ERT Staffed. That'll be a transferred staff vehicle. Like I'll say RRT respond to riot to contain, HR-1 Staff report to T-1 to report to scene or whatever. Or I might just list of five names and say get on this, everyone else, report to regular duty vehicles.

I like the Mustang and the water cannon. The other truck looks beast, too. Once we get more TAC officers, we might be able to have a SWAT team and stuff.

Well I've got an application to the TAC unit right now, waiting to hear back from him. My plans are fill the RRT, then move onto the HR-1 and possibly start the ORV if I get a captain

Oh I always thought it was an abbreviattion for tactical. And quick question: as department profile would I have an unmarked car, an SUV, or would I keep my marked squad?

You'd have your unmarked cruiser when on duty, and off duty, you have permission to run a red and blue dash light, plus head and tail flashers, as well as standard rear facing lights (red, white and yellow.) These wouldb eon your personal vehicle, covered up to a budget of 1000 dollars. You are not the department profiler, but criminal psychologist
