Training Scenario, 22012011Tango
Fire at Training Centre.

The training Academy fire grounds have opened a struture fire. Requesting LFA respond. 4 stories are fully involved. Reports of 17 people missing. Training Academy will have medical available for assistance, however requesting BLS-1 and ALS-1 respond.
(TA location is on west end of Phoxlind, just on the outskirts south of the Mountain Park area on ERT Road.)

LFA responding, Ewan Raven Assuming command.

Copy Raven.
Instruct the cadets where to set up their medical centre. They have two ambulances and a support car

*I jump in my truck and wait until Bruce jumps in and everyone else too. I put on my headset on and put on my seatbelt. I then open my mapbook in front of me and start checking where the place is.*
'Ok, here it is.'

((BTW call is in training area not operations area))

"BLS-1's responding to the training call."

*I step out of the break room and into BLS-1 start it up, flip on the headlights, and put it in drive. I keep the lights and sirens off, and drive to the training area.*

"BLS to COPA, since we are having the medical cadets you want me to leave them to do the initial treatment and checks?"

((I know, it's a training call, therefore will be left here for reference purposes))

"That's a negative, these cadets will be just like other medics. Imagine them from the PEMS."

"10-4."

*I put the radio back onto the clip on the dashboard and step out*

**We go down the road, i tell the driver directions to get there, while everyone gears up and puts b.a's on in the back. Upon arrival, we see the 4 story building on fire, and some people watching.**

"P-11 On scene, sizing up."

**I check my exposure, and also decide the pumper needs to start an exterior attack**

"Alright, Collins, get me a 4" supply line going. Galligano, get me an attack line, everyone else, start setting up the monitor and getting forcible entry tools ready."

"P-11 - S-1, we're starting an exterior attack. Getting a monitor up and 1 attack line so far, starting a 2nd as soon as all our gear is staged and ready."

**Collins gets that 4" supply set up, and Galligano gets 200' of attack line out, everyone else has all forcible entry tools set up, and Drezalan is on the deck gun.**

"Hey Van der Water, get me a 2nd attack line for the exterior ready"

**He pulls 250' and sets it up.**

"P-11 to Raven, advise when you want us to start pumping."

"Hey Fraley, set us up a triage area, unsure of what we may find"

((I still don't have a crew. So, again. Ghost crew.))

(already have a triage area made by the cadets)

"ALS 1 responding" I say into the radio. I take out the charger get in the ambulance turn on the lights and head over to the training complex."
