Fire Mutual Aid

*i walk over to the ladder and grab my water bottle and start drinking"

"Is Lt, Raven going to check it?"
*A snap comes from inside the house*
"You hear that?"
*I look around with my hose still in hand and check the area still keeping my distance.*
"Nothings here and the fire's out in the house."
*'What was that? I ask myself.*

*i walk over and hand Hannahan a bottle of water*
"drink this, dont want to get dehydrated"
"i guess now all we can do it start breaking every thing down until Lt checks for stability, just leave one hand line in service"

"Thanks Bruce."
*I drink the water*

"guess now we just wait till we hear from COPA or Lt. Raven"

I take off my SCBA and take another one to put on my back. I check the air in that.
"Full"

*i walk over to the debrea laying around the outside of the house and sort through it moving it all to the "Safe" pile*

Bruce, the house didn't collapse yet. It's still really dangerous over there.
The house creaks.
"Bruce back up please so when i collapses, it won't fall on you. Just tryin' to keep ya safe man, don't want you getting hurt."

*i walk over to the ladder take the controls, lower the ladder turn it back to its original possistion and lower it down on the truck. Then i walk around the truck, raise and retract each out riger.*

The houses right wall collapses with a loud boom and the other parts house follows.
"Ok, Now it collapsed." *I say with a smirk and nod my head.*
*I get the shovel for me and Bruce.*
"Alright Bruce, show me how well you shovel."
*I laugh a little and designate a safe pile for the right side and start shoveling.*
"Watch out for metal pieces."

*i take my jacket and SCBA off, put on my Extraction gloves and start shoveling debrea over into the safe pile*

I shovel more debris into the safe pile.

i pull more debreas and throw them into the safe pile

Alright, this is the last on my side.
*I go help Bruce with his side.*

*as i search i find a photo album in relitivly good shape and place it off to the side and keep shoveling*

I see what Bruce picks up
"Glad you found that. The guy who owns this house is gonna be happy."
*I shovel more rubble."

"Negative on fire out in the house. It's not safe to enter, the structure's too dangerous. Keep water going in through the area it collapsed until either the house comes down or a different crew takes it down."

I search through rubble and find one more piece of small wood burning.
"Alright, I found one."
*I spray it until it goes out. I keep looking for more small fires.*

*I see a Truilt Volley walk by with a shovel, I grab a shovel and walk with him asking "Hey some fire huh?*
"Yeah tell me about it, its not often we need mutal aid"

*we arrive at the house only waiting for the go ahead to sort through debris

Lt., that's the last of the spot fires. Should we finish sorting through debris?

"Well that looks like its out, just need to wait for conformation, Tom"
*I say standing by the Ladder*

"Yeah, looks good"

i had cut the vent hole then got on the ladder then sprayed the master stream

I start putting the lines back and disconnect the supply line from the hydrant.
"Can someone help me with the lines?"
*A vollie comes by and helps me.*
"Whatsup Derek?"

"Good. Not bad. Crazy fire right?"
"Tell me about it. Alright crossover this part."

*I put my shovel back and grab a Pike pole and start to srot through debris

I get off the side of the engine and put my old SCBA in the engine.

*i change the bottles in my SCBA, put the pack back and go help the engine crew pack hose

Alright, now we have to get the 4".

i disconect a section and drain it

*Me and Derek start putting the 4" away."

Yeah Bruce thanks. Uhhhmmm.....Can you help us with the 4"?

"The 4 inch. I want to do this right but quick lol."

"ok, uhh you get up on the hose bed and ill feed you the hose"

*i start feeding the 4 inch up to Hannahan
