Re: Job Availabilites
No, however I think I would like to keep some EMTsD. Lafferty wrote:Do we have a set number of people to a paramedic class, or does it not matter how many?
Z. Russo wrote:burke can you tell me more about the Collision Investigator position?
More or less, yeah. CI and his counter part will also investigate different traffic problems, and will also work traffic duty when not assigned an order, like a collission or investigation. It's like a part time detective, part time traffic cop.M. Cressler wrote:From what I know about them from what he's said and what i've seen in the real world...i mean basically it's what it says you investigate crashes. in real life you see them a lot when a death occurs because they know a lot more about collisions then normal detectives they can say who was at fault....here i assume you'd just investigate some normal crashes for insurance purposes or like if pems wrecked and they wanted to find out what was at fault
I am keep moderation on all divisions, I have traffic at a unit by unit launch to keep things sane, while at the same time, I make sure all new recruits go to Patrols since there are empty units. TAC is not getting any interest realistically, don't worry. I'm keeping an eye out.J.Libor wrote:I hate agency, (no offense). Right Now we only have a few active officers and most are trying to switch out to tac or traffic. So we need some more patrol guys.
M. Cressler wrote:yeah but it's also been the easiest to find more patrol officers hah the pd wing grows way faster then the rest
M. Cressler wrote:Do we know when then new TO will be announced?
Yes, as soon as I get my team (raven and McEvoy) to decide on their favourite candidate, then I will announce who was electedJack Anders wrote:My guess is when we find out if Garcia is done or not for sure.
I will be picking a new Lt. I have been talking to frank, and I think he will be returning but in a different position than last time.M. Cressler wrote:well he put the post up for it and took applications so he's definitely picking someone if frank comes back he'll probably give him his job back or find him an officer spot somewhere else
Jack Anders wrote:where is this at?
Check the first post, it has everythingM. Cressler wrote:it was in the first post its marked as no longer taking applications

Re: Job Availabilites
Please note we are now taking applications for the following positions, closing date will be Monday:
Rescue 1 Officer
Two firefighter positions. Prefer extra training such as HRES or SAR, paramedic admirable. Apply via PM today. Please note you cannot apply for officer position AND a fireifghter position. One officer will be selected, so don't everyone apply for an officer, as none of you will get to be in station 2 at all in that case. Only three spots will be transfers. The remainders will be filled by new recruits

Re: Job Availabilites
@DCBurke, the crime scene investigation side of things should really be handled by Crime Scene Investigators and Criminalists. Although they are usually the same thing, Criminalists cover a wider range of expertise. Unless the Agents are to be used to follow up on the incident, the real handling of the crime scene should be undertaken by forensic experts.

Re: Job Availabilites
For the crime scene, the forensics officer will be present, as well as the ME should there be a deceased victim as well as the investigating team, as they are trained in evidence collection, and scene processing

Re: Job Availabilites
TAC stands for Tactical Apprehension Crew. I just did some thinking, and I realized we're going to have to get at least a full RRT for agency operations to work well. I will be having a meeting with Police Command Officers shortly regarding a set up for the three divisions. As well as when we welcome a TAC Team back

Re: Job Availabilites
I'm going to dip into tac again.. just my opinion, I don't think we can keep TAC officers cause lack of TAC operations. So then they just sit there and do nothing. So I think it would be a better I deat to have like three RRT trucks (Or other not as threatning units) that are also used as basic patrol units then if a TAC call comes in they respond.

Re: Job Availabilites
Actually, myself and the police command officers are meeting right now, we're talking about rearranging tac, basically so they'd be pimary patrol, with special training, and would respond to TAC calls but be expected to be patrol officers driving the spare pool if they are not on duty as TAC officers either at a call or in training. We are also working on rearranging the TAC pool.
And agents doubling as TAC would not work well, since agents will call on TAC often to assist them... Though I'll throw it into the suggestion pool in there.
